Unbelievable! Never going there again. I went in there with a sprained ankle. Didn’t wait long like most others, which is the only upside. A young doctor met with me. Examined me for all of 2 minutes before determining that I need to go to the emergency :s. Very reluctant to follow up and even provide xray requisition. Kept justifying on why i need to go to the emergency. Much like a robot. Not impressed and don’t recommend! There’s another medical centre a minute away on Finch, just east of Warden. Much friendlier and knowledgeable doctor and great service overall!

I would definitely put zero if there is an option. I highly recommend the patients not to go there as the waiting time is too long as well as the poor customer care. Receptionist who answer the call not working at the front desk, he works somewhere in India. That person does not know what's going on in the clinic. Every answer he gives us to go to the clinic and ask them. He never transfer the call to the doctor office and put us on hold for a long time, and answer that is not appropriate. They don't inform us the referral, then I ask him, he said he didn't know and direct me to go to the clinic. Every single thing we need to go to the doctor office, driving for an hour. Why they have this receptionist. They don't receive any form to be signed by doctor, instead they ask to make an appointment and wait for 2-3 hours to see the doctor for the signature. For the walk-in appointment, the receptionist want us to go to clinic to make an appointment. Why they can't do it via the phone? . The receptionist has to be working in the clinic not from India. They are never going to change , but patients have to find the alternatives.

Very poor customers care. They make all the patients wait too long. They r close at 8 but waiting area full until 9.30. They have one washroom for man and women. Never clean and no hand soap.

Dr. Vijayratnam will not see his patients if they haven't seen him in 12 months. He demands that you have GP referral although we were in the middle of a pandemic. My daughter's last visit was 13 months ago due to COVID we did not attend any medical appointments unnecessarily. The receptionist suggested that come into the office and speak to Dr. directly and plead my case so my daughter can be seen. How can a physician feel so entitled to ask patients to come in a plead their case. It's not his fault completely the receptionist or call agent that they have outsourced to India is no better. This is Canada and we live in a world of social health care we do not need to beg to be seen by a Clinician for our medical needs. Absolutely atrocious behaviour, as a medical professional I will be reporting this the the medical board. Practicing out of walk-in clinic the clinicians and staff should be more courteous to the patients there. No respect for time or sense of service. They do not practice social distancing or disinfecting practices.

Very worst experience. No value for time. And also the male receptionist will not tell the right things. We have to wait for long time see a doctor even if you have an appointment. Everything community based. Really bad experience especially from the front desk. They don't know how to manage time and patients. Really pathetic situation. If they have time management then it will be useful.

Called in the day before coming and was told it would be a walk in(no need for appt). When I got to the clinic I was told to wait for 2 hours but I ended up waiting 5 hours before seeing the doctor, with an additional half hour wait inside the room. One Dirty washroom for both men and women. Reception area can get real busy, the lines up are crazy. Do they ever check these review???!! Would not recommend this place. Better to go to another hospital that follows through appt times.

I take my brother there every 3 weeks. They tell us you don’t need an appointment and can walk and that they are open until 7pm. I live in Brampton, after I finish work at 5 and get to Scarborough it’s 6:30. I get there for 6:30, and the doctor isn’t available. This happened 2 times in one week. I then had to send him with my other brother in the morning just so we don’t miss the doctor again in the evening. I called on Saturday to ask if a doctor is available to see my brother today, and the receptionist did not understand me and was quick to hang up. He had my brothers file open and kept saying patient is not here. I had to repeat my question so many times to ask if DR.Paramanathan was there. And finally he said no he will be in on Monday. Worst clinic ever. I wish I can find another clinic closer to us for this appointment

The female doctor is very unprofessional. She provided the wrong diagnosis to my bleeding symptom. I waited 2 hours in order to see a female doctor. After seeing her, I was very scared and went back lying down at home, very bad bleeding. I booked the appointment with my family doctor for Tuesday morning. He referred me to ultrasound test and prescribe iron pills. I was very lucky to see my Specialist the next day. The uterus myopathy got removed within 10 minutes, bleeding stopped. The reason for me to visit this clinic is I know there's a female doctor there and I feel more comfortable talking about my symptoms with HER. She was so unprofessional. She checked and told me my sagging bladder caused the bleeding... There is no good solution for this. I never went back to the clinic after this.

I never write bad reviews for any place or business, but this place is crazy as hell, reception will note down your name and that’s it, you will be told 2 hours wait and it will turn into at least 4-5 hours plus at least 30 minutes wait inside the examination room, if you think you dying of your pain or something, just die at home or somewhere else this place is not worth your time. Irony is I am writing this while waiting. No compassion or apologies when they say extra 1-2 hours.

Called last week to book an appointment with Dr. Amudhinie. I was told to call back today just to find out that Dr. Amudhinie is only seeing walk-in patients and she can ONLY see 10 patients for the day. The receptionist informed me to come in person write my name under the walk-in patient's list and go home and come back after 1:00 p.m. because that is when Dr. Amudhini will be in the office. This is ridiculous, I have never seen a doctor's office work in this manner. I live 30 minutes away from the clinic. It doesn't make sense why I have to drive 30 minutes just to write my name on a list and go home and come back after 1 pm to see the doctor. Also, who knows how long I have to wait before seeing the doctor.

I'm going to this medical clinic past 14 years. My family doctor manivanan. This is the walking clinic. But we can make appointment and see doctor too. I always travel on wheel trans. Every time when I make always tell them receptionist I can't wait long time because of my medical issues. Specially past three years service is very slow and poor service. I always make appointment to go see dr manivanan. I'm 2 cancer survivor heart problem person too. Specially after covid when I go see dr manivanan can't wait long time. Also go on wheel trans. I can't travel public vehicle. When I talk to the receptionist customer service very poor and bad attitude. Mostly I go and see my family doctor to check my blood pressure refills proscribtion. Booking appointment saying 2 hours. But I wait almost 3 hours. After they will put inside room for another 45 minutes to one hour. While I wait at doctor office my pressure anxiety angry everything will go double trible. Every time when I call booking appointment receptionist very poor bad attitude and rude service. When they work at office everyone should knows customer service. But now a days they're so rude. Most of the receptionist workers are new comers too. When the family doctor goes to vacation they should know when doctor will come back. But when I ask receptionist telling me very rude and irresponsible answers on phone. Doctor should know about this too. I'm really disappointed frustrated angry stress and mad too....😡💔😠👎

Yesterday I went to this doctor office to get a blood test, and so I waited 3 hours, and I almost fainted. Then I was called in and a new lady was the one who did it, and she was poking too hard on the spot, that it felt like it was touching my bone. Even today it hurts very bad! I had a very bad experience, and I will never go here again to take a blood test.

This clinic has doctors for namesake. In real, it's a business center where everyone from doctors to receptionists do efforts to force patients to book appointments for no reason just to charge the patients' health card unnecessarily. 1. Doctors explicitly say that they listen to only one symptom during each visit of a patient, and by this they disregard the fact that there can be more than one symptom related to one single disease; and because of that they are unable to diagnose anything related to my health issues for years and forcing me to book an appointment every other week. There are 3 main doctors (Dr. Mannivanan, Dr. Nityalaxmi and their junior doctor Dr. Amudhini) and all three said the same to me that they listen to only one symptom at a time. Also, Dr. Mannivanan referred me to a surgeon of his choice for no reason and when I asked for the reason for referring me to the surgeon as nothing was diagnosed by them, they said that the surgeon will diagnose the problem. I did not want to visit any surgeon for diagnostic purpose so after coming out from the doctor's room only I told the receptionist not to refer me to or share my health records with any surgeon as I am not willing to go to any surgery room just for the diagnostic purpose but she (the receptionist) said that she already shared it. Generally they take weeks or months to do such tasks but on that day when I said not to share my record, the receptionist said that she already shared it (i.e., within 2 minutes of time that I took to reach reception area from the doctor's room of the same clinic). Despite all this, they asked me to book another appointment with them. I later decided to take a copy of my reports from them. 2. I went to take a copy of my test reports from them then the receptionist at front desk denied giving me my test reports saying that I need to book an appointment with the doctor if I need my test reports. I tried explaining her that I don't want any appointment but just want my reports, she refused to provide my test reports to me and because of all this I have been denied to decide and take any action about my own health and care. Above are just a couple of incidents among the whole list of their misconduct as doctors. I urge the #ministry_of_health (#healthminister) and #CPSO to investigate into the affairs of this clinic and check their records to investigate regarding the malpractice that they do. Google should have the option of giving rating in minus (-). I am sure many patients of this clinic would be willing to give zero or minus ratings to this clinic due to the doctors' malpractice and poor front desk operation of this clinic.

Dr Vijay, writes prescriptions with his feet. I took the prescription to 3 different pharmacies, each had no idea what he wrote. To make matters worse, this was for a child, so the chance of a mistake was very high, and he was of no help when I tried to get clarification, very irresponsible by this doctor, thinking of reporting him to the CPSO college. Join the 21st century and type your prescriptions, or at the very least, write more clearly.

Please avoid Dr. Vijayratnam at any cost. Have never seen an unprofessional and rude doctor like him, and I am sure I’ll never ever see one like him. He hardly spent 3 minutes with us and shouted when a 6 year old didn’t cooperate for a shot. He cares so much about his time while he make others wait. Certainly not the preferred “Paediatrician” in town!

I never ever suggest this place to anyone. Worst place. No value for time. I went there from Bowmanville 1 hour driving but the office was closed. The day before I called them they didn't tell me that they are closing next day. My time waste, gas waste, I took day off to see doctor one day salary waste. Please if anyone looking for family doctor go find somewhere don't go to this place. Even though if you booked appointment you still have to wait 4 hours to see doctor.

Even if I wasn't okay and was sick, I would want to go to the doctors office right? No!!! If I go here, I get even MORE SICK JUST WAITING TO BE CALLED!! Waiting time is RIDICULOUS. (Also the receptionists don't know how to be kind)

Worst clinic.. if you call the office, a guy from India answering the phone.. he doesnt know what happening at the office.. receptionists are worst ..they will interview "why are here?" everyone can hear and no privacy. Then they will make you wait for 5 to 6 hours.. they dont clean chairs.. if you go on weekend.. they will be big line up and no social distance..

The services that I receive from Dr. Selvananthan is excellent every time. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touch and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. He’s very understanding and listens to your concerns. He takes time with the patient to help them with their health issues! Even though we have moved to Ajax he is still our family doctor. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a family doctor.

Very rude and unprofessional paediatrician. Doesn't communicate with kids at all. I had a traumatic experience at his office for a vaccine appointment for my son. When he started crying seeing the needles, instead of trying to pacify him with a conversation or even politely declining with a "maybe let's try another time" ; he threw our vaccine cards on the table in anger and told us "leave and don't come here again, don't waste my time" .All of us including the kids were very startled by his rage. He hardly spent 3 minutes with us . "Don't waste my time" says the man who comes to see us 45 minutes late for our appointment and hardly spends 3 minutes on the consultation.

I called in the morning to book a same day appointment and I was told by the men at the reception it's only walk in if its same day. So I get to the clinic by 11.30am to be told the doc not in until 12.30pm which was never communicated to me on the phone. Waited 1h to be told the doc was in a meeting as soon she came in. Ended up seeing the doc at 1.15pm. The whole waiting could of been avoided if only the receptionist had communicated proper info. I heard he messes up my friends appointments too. They should get rid of him or train him properly.

The worst clinic ever. Dr. Vijayaratnam is so unprofessional. The receptionist people don’t care about the patients they give you false information. I directly spoke to the doctor asking him nicely how long is the wait since I was waiting for more than one hour and he was very rude in responding me. He said in a rude tone you came late so I made you wait on purpose and if you don’t like then you can leave. What kind of doctor speaks to patients like this. I told him i don’t want to be seen by him and left the clinic. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

This is a prime example of a clinic trying to make money at any cost unless they think we are stupid. My mom has an undelying liver condition liver chirosis. It has been over 6 months since she has been diagnosed. Our family doctor has not reffered to the specialist yet. I have taken my mom to the emergency 7 to 8 times. I requested the emerg doctor to refer to the specialist he said your family doctor should do it and he put a note on the reports being sent. They still has not reffered, apparantly you have to see the doctor first prior to him refferring. My mom can hardly walk or function properly I still took her to see the office. Front desk was very un professnal and told us to come back Monday. Dirty people. I have a lot respect for doctors, however not for this kind of stupidity. Find a better doctor and I am glad I dont here for my issues.

We saw Dr.vijayaratnam for our kids and he wasn't helpful at all. We asked for vaccine which was due and he told us to come back another day. Its ridiculous we booked an appointment for vaccine to be told come back without any good reason. When we asks questions he always reply sarcastically. Its insulting how he treat patience. He is like a back home doctor with rude attitude.

I had the worst experience with Dr. Vijayaratnam, I took my baby for a checkup and it was my first baby when I asked questions about my baby's health he was very rude to me and did not give a proper explanation then he said something sarcastic. What kind of doctor is this? He does not provide the service for free, the government pays him. He must first behave with respect towards the patient.
