One of the busiest costcos I've been to, and I went on a Monday early afternoon. It was super chaotic and hard to get a parking spot. Very long lineups at the cashier and this location is a bit more disorganized than other locations. It was so crowded that it was hard to walk through the store. Good selection of items though, and the items I needed were in stock. Didn't encounter any staff so can't comment on the service here.

Costco Wholesale is a well-known retail giant that operates a chain of membership-based warehouse clubs. Here's a review of Costco based on its general attributes: 1. Membership Benefits: Costco requires customers to have a membership to shop in their stores. The membership grants access to exclusive discounts and deals, which can often offset the annual membership fee. 2. Product Selection: Costco offers a wide range of products, including groceries, electronics, clothing, household goods, and more. They are known for high-quality brands and bulk packaging, making it a go-to place for families and businesses. 3. Competitive Prices: Costco is famous for its competitive pricing, allowing customers to save money by buying items in larger quantities. Their pricing strategy often results in lower unit costs compared to traditional retailers. 4. Kirkland Signature: Costco's private label, Kirkland Signature, is well-regarded for its quality and affordability. Many customers trust and prefer these store-brand products. 5. Services: Beyond retail, Costco offers additional services like a pharmacy, optical department, gas stations, and even a travel agency. This adds convenience for members. 6. Food Court: The Costco food court is a popular spot for affordable and tasty snacks and meals, including the famous hot dogs and pizza slices. 7. Customer Experience: Costco is known for its friendly and helpful staff. Stores are typically clean and well-organized, enhancing the overall shopping experience. 8. Return Policy: Costco's generous return policy allows members to return most items with a full refund within a reasonable time frame, which adds to customer satisfaction. 9. Sustainability Efforts: Costco has made efforts to become more environmentally friendly by increasing the availability of organic and sustainable products and committing to renewable energy goals. 10. Online Shopping: Costco has expanded its online presence, making it convenient for members to shop from home and have items delivered. Overall, Costco is highly regarded for its value, product selection, and membership benefits. However, the need for a membership and the requirement to buy in bulk may not suit everyone's shopping preferences. It's important to evaluate whether the membership cost and bulk purchasing align with your needs and preferences before becoming a Costco member.

I’m all time Costco fan, however yesterday I was very disappointed with this Costco Location and Supervisor Michael. Due to existing situation in Ukraine, we were buying products to ship to Ukraine and he rejected to provided any discount or support. He asked us to provide a proof, but what kind of proof I can provide if it’s my initiative to send these products there? I bet Costco wouldn’t go bankrupt if they provided 10% discount. Very disappointed..

Great buys at wholesale price! If you prefer to stock up on “bulk” purchases, this is the perfect “go to”. Large parking area. Just avoid shopping on weekends to avoid the crowd 🥹

No introduction needed for the well-known store, Costco. If you're planning to shop here, make sure you have your Costco card handy, as it is required for purchases. This store is an excellent choice for large families looking to save on their shopping expenses. Costco offers significant discounts and carries a wide selection of items in large quantities, making it ideal for stocking up on home essentials. Not only does Costco excel in household products, but it also offers a range of electronics and mobile phones, making it a convenient one-stop shop for various needs. From groceries to home goods and electronics, Costco has it all. So, if you're looking for a store that provides great deals and a vast array of items, Costco is definitely worth a visit.

For years I've gone to this location to re-fill my BBQ tanks, but the last 3 to 4 times have been brutal. My average wait time to get a re-fill this past year has been well over 10 minutes, more like 12 to 15. But two nights ago I waited for 26 minutes! I purchased my refill indoors at 1818 and was outside at the refill station a minute or so later. I know they're busy, so I only rang the bell 2 or 3 times in the first 10 minutes. Nobody came. However one employee walked by and said he'd be back shortly ... didn't happen. After 15 minutes I phoned the store, hit 1 for administration, and it just rang a number of times before going back to the main recording. So this time I hit the number to be re-directed to the auto service. Again no answer. How frustrating! Looking around I then saw two people working the gas area and asked them for help. They looked at me and walked to the other side of the fuel pumps. So at this point I started ringing more often. Finally at 1846, more than 25 minutes after I went to the re-fill station, a staff member came out of the store to tend to me. He was nice and apologetic. I did not chastise him as it wasn't his fault. Fortunately it wasn't too cold outside, but it's simply not acceptable to have a customer waiting outside in the cold, and dark, for over 25 minutes. As I mentioned off the top, the past handful of times the re-fill service has not been acceptable. If you're going to offer re-fill service, then have someone available to work the station.

Had a nice and long shopping at this Costco. No line ups and the goods are arranged nicely. Moreover they have Costco Gas Station as well, but there's always huge queues on all pumps, because their price is so low compared to any other gas stations.

Great experience at this Costco. Selection is immense-everything from TVs to grocery, to motor oil, and snowblowers! They also have self-checkout; a great way to save time. The food court area has tasty food as well. I would recommend people to come here to shop.

Costco is your go to for deals and buying food and items in bulk or larger sizes. Costco also has services such as the eye exams, hearing aid centre, food court, tires service, a membership station and a pharmacy. Costco has items ranging from food (produce, meat, bakery, seafood, deli, ready to go food, food that's already been prepared and just needs to be cooked, Costco rotisserie chicken, cereal, drinks, frozen foods, desserts etc) to household items, to cookware, to toys and books, to clothing, technology (phones, tvs, laptops etc) and more. Since it's December, it's Christmas time. There's a lot of themed Christmas goods like candy, foods, Christmas trees etc. There was also a lot of food sample stations littered around the food areas. You could try the samples as long as you're of age or with a parent if you're 12 and under. This location was busy, but not super busy. It's like the normal amount of busy for a Costco location. We went in thinking we would just look around... But we ended up buying some stuff since there were sales happening. We sampled some food samples, wandered around the store and got quite a few items. Sometimes Costco be really good- have a good day where there's lots of food samples and lots of sales/discounts that are happening. Good Costco. Also, the toilet paper in the washroom is soft and thicker. It's not thin and weak. Thanks Costco.

First of all this is wholesale market so, it is more cheaper than any other market. And membership is must either $120 or $60 you will get discount and offer according to that and not for Indian groceries it is for general stuff. They stoked everything from general groceries to pharmacy, optical, automobile, electronics, bakery, frozen as well as dairy items. * GO IF YOU ONLY WANT WHOLE SELL GROCERIES. FUEL IS ALSO CHEAPER COMPARATIVELY.

Costco is great. It has everything you can think of here. Great prices as well for bulk products. I love the bakery and the clothes options for babies/toddlers (that are very good quality and price!). The downsides here are that parking is never available, people can’t seem to drive properly here and second it’s always super crowded with rude people (they hit you with their cart and don’t apologize, push past you and some run into you while trying to rush to get to samples). I sometimes just love ordering online, but the costs are slightly higher online.

I recently had a very disappointing shopping experience at the Costco at Warden Ave and felt compelled to share my feedback. Unfortunately, my encounter with one of your cashiers, Floyd, left me extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer service provided. During my checkout, I noticed that the door mat was scanned twice by Floyd. When I brought this to his attention, expecting an apology and a quick resolution, he responded with a careless look and instructed me to line up at the refund counter. This lack of acknowledgment or apology was already disheartening. Upon waiting at the refund counter for a frustrating 10 minutes, I encountered the same lack of apologetic attitude from the staff member assisting me. The overall experience was marked by a complete disregard for customer satisfaction, and I find this level of service unacceptable. As a loyal Costco customer, I believe in the brand's commitment to excellence and outstanding customer service. However, my recent encounter has left me questioning whether these standards are being upheld at the mentioned location. I hope that this feedback is taken seriously, and the necessary steps are taken to address and improve the customer service experience.

First time here, the registration section was a breeze for us. They have everything under the earth. Loved the bakery section and the food court. The hotdog was very good. A lot of parking space and had their gas station as well.

Don’t get me wrong, the gas here is significantly cheaper than any other gas station in Toronto or the GTA, “WHEN,” the lineups are short. The majority of the time, the lineups are long! I don’t feel safe driving to the lanes when cars continue to zoom in and out of the parking lot in a dangerous manner. I wouldn’t drive out of my way and wait 30 minutes or more, but, if the lineup is short, this is a great place to fill up. The gas is also top tier.

Well stocked and open until 2030, unlike the other close ones. Got a gas station too. Be prepared for long lines though and it is restricted on parking spots.

Great warehouse to buy things in bulk. I realize lately the prices have risen as everywhere else, and yet, people line up in front of entry doors even before shop is open. If you are a calm person and having ten thousand people bump their carts into you, cutting you off, and blocking the isles when food testers are around, then this place is for you. Seems people come here to have testers to test this and that and have a free lunch as they go back for free testers. People have no shame when it comes to free taste tests… usually at the expense of being rude to others. And most people come to Costco to waste time, look around, and bring all 20 members of their family. It’s like taking the family out for change of atmosphere, instead of going shopping and getting out of there quicker. But if you need bulk things, usually cheaper than if you were to purchase the item one by one somewhere else, then enjoy your shopping here!

Variety of products for reasonable prices. You will get offers for most of the products. Also, you'll get good discounts every week. Generally crowded during the weekends, and you might face trouble finding parking

Great location with a wide selection of merchandise. I find this location has a lot of clothing and recreational items for children. Inexpensive arts & crafts kits and books for all ages. I also like their floral bouquets. It’s about $24.99 for a large bouquet of long stem flowers. I got these more than a week ago and they’re doing pretty well ☺️

They have a lot of things available, the most important thing is that most of their goods are well-made and purified with good quality, their prices are acceptable، lower than other supermarkets, the last thing I bought from them is the mobile planting box, which is strong, solid, and well-made, and it has a 3-year warranty, and I do not think that other stores give you the same Specifications

My usual location I like to go to which is a busy location but also very friendly and really helpful staff. Karen helped me out tremendously and I just want to thank her again. They had some great deals on blankets and of course always have to stop in for a sausage even though the line ups can be a tad annoying. Always remember that the line up for gas is about 10-15 minutes.

Friendly staff; helpful. Lines to check out always massive. Don't like that they don't supply bags. Sometimes you only have 1 or 2 items that don't require a cart, and you just need a bag, so be sure to bring your own. They close at 6pm and continuously announce it, so if you want to run quick and get something, you cannot, but the staff will if you ask, keep in mind, even once describing what you want, they may bring back the wrong thing, and they'll have to go back and try again. Don't see why they just can't let you go yourself. They even block off the aisles with the carts so you have no access. Better make sure you keep your receipt handy as you need it to get out. Staff looks and signs it. No receipt, no exit. Prices are fairly reasonable. Good selection of items; i notice the size of items is always larger than at a regular store, always a bonus, especially with the soda pop. Best Tomatoes ever! Just like from the garden.

Can't go wrong with the $1.50 hot dog and pop. Decent prices on most warehouse items. Great customer service overall. The only bad thing about going here are the shoppers who seem to lack spatial awareness, but that's not Costco's fault now is it?

My wife and I love Costco where we can spend our hours shopping there. Costco is great but this location is a headache to get into their lot and find parking. There is so much traffic going and leaving at that location so it's best to go there super early or after rush hour.

  • 4/5 Jessica M. 1 year ago on Google
tl;dr - Ordering process is confusing and difficult. You don't get any confirmation email or updates. You don't know the final cost until you go to pick-up the flowers, however, Costco is definitely going to be cheaper than going to an actual florist. -------------------- We went in person and spoke to the attendant at the Flower section, however, we were left on our own with the tablet for ordering. My then-fiancé and I had no idea what we were doing, or how to even navigate their ordering portal. The attendant was too busy arranging the display to help us, so we were clicking around each menu of this tablet. (This was super irritating and we almost gave up.) We're pretty sure the attendant didn't even know how to work that tablet, but thankfully we figured it out on our own! Now, when you're placing the order for the flowers you have to pick second choices/back-up flowers. (e.g. you want a dozen red roses, but you'll be asked to add a back-up choice like pink roses, just in case red roses aren't available.) We had to do this for each type of flower we wanted which took a considerable amount of time. My fiancé and I weren't charged when we placed the order for the flowers, and we didn't find out the cost until we picked them up (1.5 months later.) In total we had 14 dozen flowers and the final cost was $273.31. Overall, our family was able to create beautiful centerpieces with all the flowers we purchased from Costco (at a fraction of the price), but we really wish the ordering process was easier.

Lots of variety, was quite busy but not terrible to browse around. Really good prices for snacks and drinks. Highly recommend hitting this place up over regular costco for kitchen/pantry essentials! Will definitely be returning

Busy yet efficient, there is a long line up especially during rush hours. However, the price is always the best and no need to shop around. You must have a membership card to buy gas. In most cases, the savings in gas purchases is enough to offset the cost of the membership.

  • 5/5 Ishrat H. 7 months ago on Google
Large location and plenty of variety, as are other costcos. I find this location to have the best samples compared to other locations. This location has gas station and tire center in addition to all their other wonderful services (pharmacy, etc..) if anyone was wondering. Only annoying things are 1. Not enough self checkouts relative to size, 2. Food court was not designed thoughtfully, but it is an older location (checkout exit and food court lines merge, creating a hold up)

Costco consistently delivers an excellent shopping experience, with a wide variety of high-quality items at unbeatable prices. Their membership offers great value for money, providing access to an array of goods from groceries to electronics, often in bulk quantities that yield even more savings. The store’s commitment to customer satisfaction, return policy, and additional member services further enhance the overall value. It’s a top destination for consumers looking to balance cost with quality.

Quite a great Costco location. Always seem to be in stock of items I am in need of and have very efficient and pleasant staff. Regardless of how busy it is wait times in line never seem to be an issue. I highly recommend this location.

Excellent place to get fresh vegetables, fresh meat and cold cuts. Has a bakery and they bake they own bread and pastries, but also has different brands. I had to learn that some deals that they offer will be for sometime only., it is a take it or missed it. You could find also furniture, computers, pharmacy services. Remember to take your own bags or boxes because they don't provide them.

  • 1/5 Estella H. 2 years ago on Google
This Costco is usually a very busy location with long lineups to get in and limited parking. I was just here during the Labour Day weekend and it was busier than ever. No lineups to get in and the warehouse was jam packed with people. There were no signs of social distancing or any measures taken to limit the capacity. I will stick with going to the Thorncliffe Park location from now on.

I love shopping at Costco, it is my number one place for a great and satisfied shopping experience. Being a Senior I love the idea of buying things in bulk. Winter months can be very difficult for me especially when it is snowing. Shopping at Costco also saves me time. I don't have to worry about getting out often when there is snow on the ground. There pharmacy is always my first stop, it is where I can get all my vitamins and questions answered. Next is the hearing aid clinic which is so convenient for shopper to visit while shopping. Cosmetic, creams, shampoos and conditioners you just cannot miss. In the Grocery isles there are so many choice. Prepared package meals ready for the oven. House hold, cleaning and laundry items of different brand names. Seasonal Gardening supplies, bulbs, flowering plants and potted herbal arrangements for your home and garden. As busy as it is at Christmas time, it is the only one stop shopping place for me, where I can find everything needed, that makes gift giving a joy. Christmas Card, Wrapping paper, ribbons, and scotch tape. Books and Toys for the little ones. A jewelery and clothing department for the adults. Delicious assortment of Cheeses and crackers, Varieties of Chocolates, cookies, cakes, nuts and not to forget all that is needed for the dinner table and so much more. May it be Christmas or any other season of the year it is always a fun experience shopping at Costco.

Great place to stop in bulk. Prices are amazing. The only drawback is aisles are not marked as to what products are in them. I could not find voffee whitener anywhere and I searched the aisles twice.

Pros: one of its kind. Great variety great prices and great choices. Cons: The customer service doesn't go with the store size and brand name. Its pretty common with big chains though, very hard to get help like Walmart, home depot etc... These multi million dollar chains should be able to train staff to be pro-active in assisting customers just like in many countries in Europe and Asia, even many smaller stores world wide provide great assistance. Thank you

Good location for east Torontonians. Pretty fast checkout, lots of products only available in store. Gas Bar is always busy though, my recommendation is send a family member in to shop while you wait for gas, unless you're planning on spending your day at Costco.

Cast iron quality products, prices were reasonable, making for a good value. However, it's worth mentioning that Canada Tire can be a strong competitor, particularly for kitchen appliances, as they often offer heavy discounts (orange one in the picture from CT with 75%discount).

COSTCO was crowded, lines were long but the membership only store had great prices for bulk only items. The $1.50 foot long hotdogs were a hit. Washrooms were clean. There are dividers at checkout. Masks are not required but all the staff wear one. Not sure how much membership is but you can't buy anything but the fast food without it

I recently heard about Costco Mobility. My kids and I just got new phones and plans last night and the service was excellent. The perks are amazing; you get a car charger, wireless earbuds and Costco shop cards with each phone. Fifi was very knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. I can't say enough about the customer service that I received. Would highly recommend.

Overall, their are some great buys at the store. My best finds where Kirkland Almonds and other nuts and Kirkland Multi-vitamins .

I love Costco, but like other stores their prices have significantly increased. We buy the cooked chicken there which is 7.99, but with the added tax it comes to 9.04. It’s still a good deal for a family of 4. The Dundas location is great for lower gas prices, but sometimes it’s a bit of a wait & we’ll only go when shopping as there’s no value just going for gas. This is long winded, but this is my take on Costco.
