Don't trust this tall statement by Vermeer's -- "Our Garden Club Guarantee is a one-year warranty that we offer on select nursery stock. This warranty applies to trees, shrubs and evergreens. If a tree, shrub or evergreen dies within 12 months of purchase, it can be returned and the dead plant will be replaced." Of the many purchases during the last year, one of the evergreen trees died over the winter. When I took the receipt and the dead plant back to Vermeer's 5 days back, despite them having the same tree in stock (a dwarf Hinoki Cypress of the exact same size of tree and pot) they refused to replace it. The excuse was that it was now costlier than at the time I bought it last year! They would only compensate me the last year's list price as a store credit. Certainly not a customer-centric attitude. Those who control the price can just increase the price year after year and then refuse to replace it. Doesn't make sense to me as a customer who trusts the word 'Warranty'. The owners of this business owe me an explanation.

I phoned and asked for their help to pick out a brand of tomato plants to bring to the checkout for me as I am a senior and also disabled and can't walk very far. The lady flatly refused to help me! I was told it's just too busy to do this for people! I won't be wasting my time or money with this store again!

What a lovely store. Many ideas to take home for a wonderful Christmas display. Look forward to going there for other seasons too!

Great selection of tropicals and other plants. Good prices.

I was recommended to this garden centre for our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier with the results. They took what very vague input we had and turned it into an absolute dream come true. The flowers were gorgeous! The bouquets, pocket boutonnieres, arbor arrangements were all perfect. They were familiar with our venue and even added a special touch with petals laid out on the welcome tables. I was in awe of their work and even more thrilled with their communication and management.

Want to get into the Christmas spirit this is the place to be. The pictures I have provided are just a glimpse of what awaits you. Lots of holiday gift ideas from plants to purses. Staff is super friendly and helpful in all aspects of items for sale. Just found out that they will re-pot your old orchids for about five dollars and that is a good deal. A wide choice of real and artificial Christmas trees, it is the best selection I have seen. Even if you don’t need anything it is worth the trip but I’m sure you will leave with something.

Beautiful store. Alot of extras besides plants to catch your eye. Nice to take your time and wander about. The cashiers were friendly and kind as well. You've got a new customer!

I am disappointed by the gouging of this place to its patrons. It is a good store, but to charge $130 for a Christmas tree that would cost $70 a year before is GREEDY! Make a profit, sure! ROBBING your market is another LOW MEASURE. Never again! I will look around. I thought I would shop locally and this is where it gets you. I should have been able to buy a CHRISTMAS TREE and a LARGE TURKEY for what I spent at Vermeer's. Next year I will go back to the tree farms and cut my own, for a lot less.

Amazing place, found just what I was looking for (just simple single picked beautiful flower). Service is great and place feels a bit magical! Will come again

Amazing selection and expert advice. This is our go-to for all things indoor or outdoor activities plant related. All our out of town family make it a must-do stop when they come by for a visit.

A gardeners dream. Staff were knowledgeable and always had a friendly smile. If you are looking for hot pepper seedlings, look no further.

Mixed review for this place. We live right up the road and moved here 2 years ago. During that time we have had countless trips there and purchased quite a bit from them. The store staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful for the most part. However, my partner and I had a very unpleasant run in with the owner and it left a really sour taste in our mouth. Coincidentally we had just been in the store that morning and dropped almost $300 on plants. Won't be going back.

Beautiful decor. Great selection of flowers and plants, clothing and accessories. Friendly and helpful staff. I have trouble walking sometimes and felt the floors were difficult to walk on , but I did manage to find places I could hold on to. Bought 3 beautiful hydrangeas. For sure will be back with my cane

Vermeer's deserves 6 stars. They did a fantastic job with the flowers for our wedding. Very organized great vision and super friendly. The delivery service and set up from the girls was amazing. I've recommended them to everyone I know. The pricing is fantastic. I will never buy flowers anywhere else again.

The selection is incredible from: indoor/outdoor plants of every region, planter options, soils, fertilizers, decor, garden tools, and I could go on and on. The staff is also courteous and knowledgeable offering advice for amateur plant parents like myself.
