The office for Service Ontario is located on the 4th floor of the building numbered 47. Currently due to Covid, only a limited number of people are allowed and they have organized it pretty well by handing out tokens for the next available time. It is usually in half an hour slot. I had visited the place for my health card, however, please ensure that you have all the necessary documents, especially an address proof that you live in Ontario. As a newcomer that might be the only document you may not have. So even though the 3month waiting period has been waived off, it will still take you a month to get hold of an OHIP card. Don't worry if you cannot print out the form, they will give it to you at the reception along with a handy list of acceptable documents.

For one day we visited this location two times, spend 3 hours for driving and waiting, bring all documents as was extracted, but still not what we was asking for. Each representative has own requirements.

The behaviour of staff is really bad, there isn’t enough staff at reception to answer the big line up people! Also they are trying to move you around for nothing! They don’t give you enough information at the first time!too many back & forth for a simple thing that they could tell you at first!

I recently went through a frustrating ordeal trying to get a doctor assigned to me. It took 10 calls, multiple redirects, and 10 days of persistent effort before finally being connected to someone who informed me that no family doctors were available at the moment. It has now been a month, and I am still without a family doctor. This experience has made me question the fairness of the system, as it appears to cater primarily to the wealthy, while low and middle-income individuals are left to struggle. It is disheartening that in a developed country like Canada, we face such challenges in accessing basic healthcare services. Despite the significant taxes we pay, the return we receive in terms of healthcare support leaves much to be desired. It has been six months since we lost our family doctor, and the ongoing struggle to find a replacement highlights the shortcomings of the healthcare system.

Where is the option for 0 stars. I went today to 47 Sheppard ace east. North York. Desk 8. I had all the information to fill out a form, doing the right thing. Because I will be out of country for 7 months. I was told my letter of employment must state full time. However it had a start and finish date. I was not even told that I didn't even have to do this. Just refused. I called service Ontario and was told I can leave for 7 months with out filling a form out. Thanks for the terrible assistance and waiting my time. Please fire her

The security officer in charge does not have enough experience to work with public. He was not helpful while the Junior young security guard was much helpful.

Accountability of healthcare errors in this country are embarrassing. I’m a plumber….if I flood a house I get sued or my insurance gets sued. But when the doctors graduate from the garbage universities we have and then continue their guess on humans who is accountable when something goes wrong? Answer….no one. HEALTH CARE IS. “Free here” hahahahaha nothing is free it’s paid for and is garbage. Maybe for refugees and asylum seekers it’s free but not for tax payers. I’m embarrassed to be Canadian but even more so to be part of Ontario. It’s a sad joke. Our healthcare system kills people everyday. Yes it saves a few people just like hospitals in third world countries. Don’t compare and make me laugh please. We should be able to sue an individual or insurance. Why isn’t medical malpractice a statistic in death? Especially with Covid 🤣🤣🤣

Booking is practically useless as it'll be for at least a month later and most issues that lead us there are urgent that can't wait a month. So expect lengthy lines at all hours. The personnel are not impolite, but not that friendly either. There are some utterly uninterested employees among them (in their work and in you in particular!) and you might want to double-check anything they do as it's very probable that they somehow make a mistake in a simple paper they give you. It's also warm now in spring and there are no chairs while waiting in the corridors.

Disconnected three times. Inexperiened employees. Fourth person was excellent. Worst service with government. Better screening during interview would eliminate bad service workers

inexperienced employee, asked me unrelated questions for no reason . With plexiglass for pandemic, its already hard to hear, however she kept asking me to stand back to the blue line while NOBODY else did it. Rocquel and Dureyti gave me some hope and got things done finally

👍👍 I just attended the program today, and I must say that am beyond pleased by Laura professionalism and charisma. She so patient, and expressive of her thoughts and experiences with the teachings. The exam was very simple and straightforward and did reviews of what to expect in the exam for every unit...
