Awful staff! We had decided to just buy a huge family meal for our Thanksgiving dinner. Just as we were entering the premises, someone was placing a sign on the door saying that they were not taking any orders. There was a young woman at the counter who rudely told us that we should have seen the sign on the door. We told her that we had but were hoping that they still might be able to do something. She gave us a hostile look, shrugged her shoulders, and abruptly walked away from the counter without another word. At that same moment, a young man appeared from the kitchen area. He was a little more polite in telling us the same thing that his colleague had said. We told him that we had caught two buses to come all this way to buy a family meal. It was before 6:30PM - how can a Swiss Chalet run out of food so early in the day? There was nothing on their website that indicated that they had run out of food. He said that it had just happened a few minutes ago, and we are supposed to be able to guess that any place that sells chicken can run out of supplies on Thanksgiving(?). This has never happened to us before, but what disturbed us was the lack of sympathy or apologies for wasting our time. We ended up buying burgers and fries from a nearby Harvey's. They even had chicken burgers! The Harvey's staff was really welcoming, patient, and friendly - everything that the Swiss Chalet staff were not.

Quiet Swiss Chalet location offering the classics. Good service as this location is not too busy even on weekends. CAA members can get a free pie when dining in if you order 2 entrees.

In a winter chilly night, in a such warm restaurant have hot food with so many nice people. What more can you ask

We tried the potato soup, half rack ribs, and chicken quesadilla at Swiss Chalet. The quesadilla was delicious, but the ribs had a slight smell after a few bites. The potato soup was okay, not something I'd crave again. The service and atmosphere were quite good.

Our server an older lady was nice and pleasant. Our food arrived hot, accurate and decent timing. She even brought us the bowls with lemon water to clean our hands. The washroom was atrocious . The water went pretty hot for some reason. Plus there is some kind of slimy grime in all the corners.

A lovely experience dining at Swiss Chalet as always! Great service and the chicken spring rolls are delicious...👌🏽

OK, so we get swiss delivered. The Chicken Sandwich wars are really heating up. Without a doubt Swiss Chalet makes three of the best Chicken sandwiches in the business, there is no comparison. If you like ordinary chicken sandwiches you will love the Rotisserie Chicken on a Bun, simply amazing tender, juicy chicken. They new CRISPY Chicken sandwich is incredible. It is nice and crispy but the chicken is so tender and the breading used is not thick it is just right with a nice crispy crunch the slaw on the chicken is also very good. Then there is the Southern Canuck a tender juicy chicken breast on a great bun, very tasty bacon and a nice slaw with Chalet sauce. Look, we love chicken and we have tried all the other places, Popeyes, McDonalds, A&W, Harveys, a few burger joints that make chicken sandwiches. Swiss Chalet blows everyone righ out of the water. The service is great and the manager is one heck of a nice guy that listens to your comments and hepls you if you need it, really he is wonderful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location or any Swiss Chalet close to you. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing service at this location it feels like home . Food is great , fries are hot and the staff always do the best to make you feel welcome . Definitely a my go to Swiss Chalet . Dine in or take out , you won’t be disappointed!! Monica is a star server and Natalie is just the most professional, kindest manager :)

Best Swiss Chalet I've been to in years. The service was excellent, and the chicken was moist and tender (not all dried out like my last few experiences at other Swiss Chalets). Reminded me of when my parents used to take us to the one in Brampton in the late 70's early 80s. This time, I was taking my mom, and she, too, was very happy. We had chicken and ribs with fries and salad. Thoroughly satisfied!

We were first our experience to have dinner in Swiss chalet , but it was trouble. KFC absolutely is better than the restaurant. Cold food, low quality meat and bad customer service.I don’t definitely recommend it to you.

The asian guy who wears a black shirt and works in take out is such an amazing employee! I ordered a half chicken meal and he delivered my meal fast and efficiently! He dealt with a crazy customer respectfully while still being able to get other orders done. He truly is a hard worker in the company. What a great guy. 10/10 location. :-) Best location ever.

Why have curbside pickup as an option if you're not going to provide it in a timely fashion? I waited 15 mins after checking in properly and the restaurant forgot about my order. Had to call the restaurant directly and still waited an additional 5 mins for my order. Ridiculous & they lost a customer. This isn't the 1st time either. @SwissChalet Reply: Tried taking the survey that you posted to my reply, and the link doesn't work. *WOW* How many more times are you going to show us how much of a disaster your company is?

If you stick to the chicken and fries, you will be fine. I ordered a pot pie which had hard pieces of chicken and no flavour. My kids had a pizza (still for frozen in middle and mashed potatoes from a box (really gross). Apple pie was also cold. The bathrooms were so disgusting, and if I didn't absolutely need it for one of my kids, I wouldn't have used. So dirty! On the upside, our server was helpful and attentive.

I ordered back ribs and chicken wings and after 7 minutes I got my plates, they looked delicious but actually didn't taste like that. The only wsy that you can have ribs and wings so fast is that they were cooked days befor and yes, it tasted like that. The chicken wings were hard to bite and to chew, while the ribs were too dry. The fries are same like every Swiss Chalet, not the best ones. The waitress just wanted to do it everything fast and not in a kind way.

I'm a regular customer at the Swiss Chalet. Usually I go to the wilson and keele location which is so nice and service amazing. We were working in the area at this location in Bayview and decided to stop at this location. It was the worst decision I made that day. We were we in a hurry. We ordered the spring rolls and large fries. The oriental older man had just finished serving a table that was there after us 3 gentleman. Treated them so nice. He came to our table after he served them. Imagine we were there before them. While at our table, he lifted one hand and said nothing ..like as to say what ? We were so surprised and his gesture. Not a smile, nothing for an expression or any word. Came back with our drinks and slammed them on the table, and threw the straws 🤷🏻‍♀️ When he came back with the food, we started to eat and found hair on the in the spring roll. Needless to say, we were so horrified. What else could go wrong... I called over another person from in the kitchen and asked for the manager. After everyone was sticking their heads out of the kitchen. Staring at us, the manager came out and said to me that it was a spice, and I said. No, it's not a spice it's hair!! He was going to give me 50% off??? I was so surprised... I said I would pay for the drinks and nothing else. I expressed how unhappy I was with the server. And he told me that he had spoken to him. We got up, and we left. Worst customer service, I've ever had the worst offer I've ever had. I will never return back to that restaurant. I suggest that the Swiss Chalet head office check this location out and the horid service and management. I could have dealt with the hair but not with the rancid customer service that we got. I've never had such a bad experience in a Swiss Chalet.

Best Swiss Chalet in North York with better food portions. Nice two level seating and spacious. Abundant parking out front. Try any other Swiss Chalet then come here 👍. Had the chicken pot pie for a change instead of the quarter chicken meal.

Love this place, not too busy at the weekend diner time, but service is excellent! My kids love the kid’s menu and I prefer the sandwiches. The food is beyond the expectation in term of the price.

I will always have a softspot for Swiss Chalet.. but that aside.. the value is great, the service is usually very good. Many of the servers have been there a long time. The only issue is that in the main dinning area they have a phone that pretty much rang the whole time i was trying to eat with my family and it kinda was hard to speak over the phone. I suggest they move this phone or make the ringer less loud and annoying. But without that.. it would b 5 🌟

I have been to this specific location multiple times and the service here have always been above and beyond. The food is pretty decent, which is what you would expect at any other Swiss Chalet location but it really is the servers here who make the dining experience outstanding. The staff here are friendly and attentive, and I would like to thank Denny for his excellent service during my most recent visit.

Went in during weekday lunch rush. Fare prices considering the times we're in. These Swiss Chalets would get packed, but it was fairly empty. I hope dinner rush are much more full.

Friendly staff. Been coming here for 15 years. Good quality at reasonable price. Paying extra $1.80 to get an extra quarter leg is worth it.

Family dinner on Boxing Day, we opt for the festive specials. We were lucky to meet the legendary server Wendy. Service was keen and proactive. Foods was great as usual. We had not tasted Swiss Chalet Rotisserie Chicken for 3 years, comfort foods brings back family memories when out grown children were kids. This location will always be our favourite. Excellent parking, excellent service with Wendy.

Chan is an organized server; I appreciate his timing. Good job! Although Sunday lunch was busy, my main course was served promptly after finishing the appetizer. I like how my fries were crispy.

For many years , members of my family have been regulars of this shop and we are all deeply impressed by the service provided by Chan who is polite, helpful, smart and cheerful. He knows all about the menu and products of the restaurant, with his recommendations which are all customer oriented, we really enjoy our gatherings with the food and drink, not to mention his service.

The food is good and quick, it never goes wrong with the half chicken dinner. We have tried the crispy wings this time and our kids love it. Chan is very friendly and attentive, he made sure we enjoyed the meal and had a good time.

We had an amazing dinner tonight and Monica made it extra special! She was very thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed. For example, when she noticed that me and my partner were sharing the salad, she came by to give us an extra plate without us having to ask for it. 5 star service!

My service with Wendy was excellent. Very quick and pleasant and accommodating right from the beginning. Always check how we were doing even though she had many other tables. Great Server! Best Swiss Chalet experience so far

TERRIBLE FOOD! Probably the tastier part of my meal was the bread with butter... I ordered the pot pie and tasted no different than the cheap frozen ones; the fries were soggy and tightly packed in a small box.

We have ordered full back rib and they intentionally gave us side rib. Restaurant wasn’t rush.

Had a Christmas gathering here & enjoyed the Festive Meal, chicken & ribs. Great service. All was tasty except the dry, tough ribs. Not worth the higher cost to get them!

Unfortunately it took me 15 to get a hold of someone, their phone system seems like it hasnt bin upgraded in 20 years. The food is great the phone lines SUCK!!!!!!!

Swiss Chalet is comfort food, you know what you want and how it will be. I still like the crispy skin chicken with its moist and tender meat, especially the legs, but maybe my memory is going since I seem to remember that portions were bigger. This time out, the chicken wrap really seemed like it had more chicken in it than came in the leg with the quarter chicken dinner. I always use the coupons and came out happy again. Update: Still going November 2018 and my favourite coupon is two quarter chicken meals with an appetizer and dessert.

Very happy. We bought one loaded potato. One cheesecake and one side of fries to share for the four of us. We split the bill four ways and it was very affordable 😊 Lady brought whole jar of hot sauce and it was very appreciative.🥰
