    Used my coupon for a free bath and brush for my puppy. Ellie, the bather, was super patient and gentle with my pup. Included a more level up conditioner on the house and lots of love all around. I've never seen puppy more fluffy. So happy with the experience!

    PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE FOR GROOMING. I’ve taken my golden doodle here since he was a pup, the last 6 years. Now all of a sudden he has the worst anxiety going to get groomed. And they told us unless we give him cbd to calm him down they won’t accept him anymore. The worst is though instead of just sending him home uncut they butchered his shaggy golden doodle cut. They SHAVED his tail right off so he looks like a rat, shaved his ears right down to the skin and on top of that he’s not even there’s areas they left longer. He literally looks like a homeless abandoned unloved dog. It is very very sad and makes my heart break. These “professional groomers” should be charged and have their license taken away. All of their good groomers must have left to continue their careers elsewhere because Petsmart is the bottom of the barrel. **You’ve been warned**

    Horrible service from the groomers they’re inexperienced and don’t know how to deal with dogs at all. I took my puppy there for a bath and brush first time everything was fine now suddenly they cannot accept him anymore? Maybe this PetSmart should start hiring professionals who can “accept” dogs for grooming isn’t that what the service is for to groom dogs and for some reason my dog came home not groomed very very interesting service I rate it 0/10. There reasoning was that he had too much anxiety and was peeing too much. I’m sorry do you not know how to deal with animals? Do you only “accept” dogs who are 100 % perfect? Don’t bother bringing your dogs as they will not be washed.

    Is this location under new management??? This used to be a great store... Many items are out of stock (all that I typically purchase)...staff that I interacted with were not friendly... Will not return to this location

    By far this is such a great place to go to. Friendly atmosphere, huge location with so many different items, and best of all.. cute cats! I’ve adopted my cat here and the whole process was incredible. The volunteers there are so kind with answering the thousand questions I had for them. Definitely worth while to come here :)

    A fantastic location, however I have no idea who this one employee is. Her hair is blueish-black and fluffy. She is petite and wears black eyeliner. When we were checking out, she was quite hostile and grumpy, accusing us of being bad fish parents and providing us with inaccurate information regarding fish and fish food. To make matters worse, the person in front of us in line was returning a hamster they had purchased, which I don't see as a problem. this woman straight on ridiculed them for returning the hamster and said they were bad hamster owners, yet I bet she didn't know anything about pets either.

    Only one cashier was working when we visited. The cashier was taking way too much time trying to cash out a pair of customers. Line got long with zero moment. Instead of paying for back up, she just kept discussing one item at a time with a cart full of items. Spoke to manager about the incident before we left. She didn't seem to care either. Amazing.

    Setting up a new aquarium and bought some aquatic plants here. The young Lady that took care of me seemed very knowledgeable. She was also super careful with my plants and when I got home they were still looking great!

    If you wanna adopt cute cats, please go there now! So many cute cats there!!!🥰 And the service is so excellent! Kendall is so friendly, passionate and energetic! I feel so good when I meet him. The staff is nice and willing to help us. I really recommend this store! 😊🌼

    Firstly, I’ve been going here for 5 years so my review is not an isolated experience. 1)never any staff available to help. Whether it’s grooming, purchasing a fish, checking out- it’s as if there’s only 2-3 staff maximum in the store at all times and the few that are there are always busy doing something else. 2)grooming salon- never answers the phone. Literally never. Different days, different times- the phone NEVER gets answered. So booking an appointment? Impossible. “Go online to book” they say- surprise ! It always says the system is unavailable. So I tried walking in today, quick teeth and nails for my pup that’s all. NOT A SINGLE DOG IN THE SALON. The lady told me there’s absolutely no time today and to come tomorrow. Teeth and nails are FAST. With an empty salon, how can you not offer this service? 3)customer service- every PetSmart has cheerful staff. They say hello, interact with customers and pets, and have an overall enthusiasm that creates a pleasant shopping experience. The staff at this location time and time again, look miserable. No greeting, no acknowledgment, no initiative. They look and act as if they’re being forced to work against their will. When you talk to them their tone makes it seem as if you’re irritating them, or wasting their time. If you can avoid this location, do it. Unfortunately based on where I live it’s the closest location for me. Don’t believe me? Go check the other 1 star reviews… it’s there for a reason…

    I would like to first thank the team at Pet smart Richmond Hill for hiring our trainer Rachel R, with her help we were able to achieve and graduate from intermediate classes with her coaching and guidance. With our rescue dog Thunder we were unsure how he would do in a class setting, given his background as a rescue. Upon thunder meeting Rachel, she was confident that thunder would do well. With patience and consistency thunder practiced his skills and we are glad to say he has improved so much. Thank you Rachel for believing in Thunder! We would definitely recommend taking any training classes that you may need with Rachel! Thank you :)

    I recommend this location for training as they have an amazing trainer, but I can't recommend the grooming service here. I took my very timid dog for grooming here yesterday (we usually go to other location which she had zero problem with). When we picked her up after the session, she was terrified, kept running, and panting really hard. We took her home, and she immediately started rubbing her eyes. So I checked her eyes, and noticed that her eyes were very red. Her eyes were watery all night, so I had to clean her eyes this morning. Her eyes are still red. Although the groomer was really nice, but I am not very happy with the outcome. I may give this location another try in future, but what happened to my dog truly breaks my heart.

    Not happy with the grooming services here. I asked for my dog’s hair to be left a bit shaggy and she came back to me shaved. What’s worse is they completely missed under her chin, the only area that needed to be shaved. We are going back to our old groomer

    First time here. Bright, clean store, Found what I needed very quickly and didn't need help. several people walked in with dogs of all ages and sizes. The cashier said this is the best job she's ever had because of all the pets that come in.

    Busy day in the store and I show up looking for curbside pickup, which will take a while, so I enter the store and head to the online pickup counter... one staff there, he is waiting to pick up his cheque and isn't on-shift BUT still offers to help me pick up my order... a great customer service attitude and a willingness to help where he could...bravo!

    The trainer Rachel, is phenomenal. Teddy (chihuahuas and miniature pinscher) has extremely bad anxiety with people and dogs. Ted sees her once a week for training and has learn so many skills and tricks. We went on vacation recently and had Ted and his sister stay in the Dog Hotel, he was good with doggy day camp and social with the people, which is huge. Rachel even sent us photos and videos while we were away of Teddy and his sister, playing.

    PET SMART 225 High Tech road. Unfortunately, I did not read the "reviews 1 Star " before going to this salon. This was a new experience for me and I hoped for a positive outcome. I have a 6-month-old puppy who needed her hair trimmed and her nails trimmed (later it turned out that I was booked for a full service, including washing, I decided agree). Before doing the appointment, I talked to them on the phone and explained that I needed a certain style and could they cut my dog’s hair that way. They told me that they have a lady named Michelle, she previously worked in a private salon and she will do everything right. As it turned out later, she never worked there. We talked for a long time and she said that she knows how and what to do, but it will cost me more, since she will have to spend more time. I paid. Сказали, что The entire service will last 4.5 hours (for a 6 month old puppy!). They vigorously sent me home, saying that they would call me. I returned 2 hours later to find Michelle grooming another dog. I asked, where is my puppy, to which they told me that during one appointment they cut 2 dogs (???) Why then set the time and say that there is a lot of work, and during this time work with others? To charge more money for a “complicated” haircut? When I said that it’s stressful for a puppy to sit in a crate for extra time, they told me that I have to pay for express!!!! What express???? I just wanted my puppy to be handled at my scheduled time! Terrible horror!! The whole “haircut” turned out to be simply terrible, he now walks around all bitten, his “skirt” was completely cut off from the sides and from the back.But the worst thing happened later. His testicles turned out to have red spots, I think that they probably started washing him with hot water or somehow touched him during a haircut. I didn’t have the strength to go back - we live far away and there’s traffic. I just applied ointment. He began barking at people and dogs, which had never happened before, probably due to the stress of being in this establishment. By the way, his ears turned out to be dirty and no one did this, although they paid for extra time. It was a fatal mistake to go to this grooming salon, sorry my baby dog. I will never deal with them again and would not recommend them to anyone who loves their pets. I am very disapрointed and only blame myself for this rash step.

    Took my Golden Retriever for Grooming. Should’ve trusted all negative reviews about grooming for this place. Brought back a traumatized dog home. It took us few days to understand what’s wrong. Noticed multiple cut marks on leg and tail. Really pathetic to realize what my dog had to go through. Never going back there.

    I am so genuinely pleased with this Pet Hotel at this PetSmart. I was away and this was my first time having to leave my fur baby (Willow) at a pet hotel. I was really nervous at first but as soon as I got there and met the staff especially Jordan, I was relieved of this feeling. Jordan and her team were so kind, supportive and welcoming and made Willow feel so loved. She was given a 5-star hotel experience from the food, to the accommodations, to the spa treatment and of course the accommodations and play time! I received daily updates via photos. She had a a spa day where she got her mani/pedi and her fur done. She got lots of one-on-one attention. She was treated like royalty. Due to an airline error, my flight was delayed and I couldn’t pick her back up on the original scheduled date and Jordan went above beyond to ensure Willow was cared for until we eventually got back. I just booked Willow another stay at the hotel and Jordan answered the call and made it happen so easy, efficiently and expeditiously. I know if I’m ever away, I can 100% trust Jordan and Petsmart Pet Hotel to be a second home for my Willow and I am so grateful for this! Thank You Jordan and Pet Smart Pet Hotel team! Merry Christmas! :)

    I recently moved and decided to try the pet hotel at this location which was not a good idea. My fur baby stayed here twice and today was the worst. I got a call from an employee saying that he lunged at another dog unprovoked and he would have to be isolated for the rest of his stay and wouldn’t be able to play with the other dogs. I completely understood their decision but I didn’t want him to be alone for 4 nights so I told them I would pick him up. Today I called the location to get more clarity and the employee I spoke to said he tried to MURDER another dog. The thought of someone saying that about my dog was a bit extreme and rubbed me the wrong way, so I decided to pick him up and bring him to another location where the staff are well trained and familiar with him. I explained the situation to another staff at the other location and they said when incidents like that happen they would give the dogs a break in their kennel and give them another chance instead of locking them up for their entire stay.

    Management is horrible. Very disorganized. Especially assistant manager is rude and always says some weird remark. She must be talking to herself. She was also very unprepared and didn’t engage in asking normal interviewer questions at all. Asked 2 questions and second interview lasted 10 min because “she didn’t know” she had to interview someone. If you’re going to apply to Petsmart, apply elsewhere and avoid this one. They also don’t bother to contact you about whether you are hired or not. Don’t waste your time waiting for this minimum wage job store.

    Very grateful for Katie and her team at the Pets Hotel. Everytime we bring our dog, she’s immediately greeted by the staff with love and affection. They are very communicative, friendly, and our dog comes home tired every time. Very glad to know we have a reliable, safe space to bring our dog.

    If I can give no star, I will definitely do so. I went to this store this afternoon and wanted to buy some fishes. I stood in the section, looked around but saw no staff. I stayed there for 10 minutes, however, nothing changed. Then, I walked to another section and asked a staff for help. Her replied was “I do not take care of the Fish section and asked me to go back there”. I saw her inter-comm someone and thought she was asking someone to help me. I then returned to the Fish section, but again nothing happened and the area was still unstaffed. I decided to leave as it was just waste my time to stand there and expected help! IF THE STORE DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH STAFF, IT’S BETTER TO CLOSE IT!!

    Petsmart is always one of my favourite places. I was impressed by how open and airy and clean this one seemed, and they had quite a few pets for adoption the day i visited too. A one-stop pet store for finding a new best friend and making them part of your life!

    2nd time they cancelled grooming on the same day. Apparently they no longer groom big dogs . I was not informed when I booked the appointment. Good bye petsmart .

    PetSmart's culture and space has evolved so much in the past 10 years since I have been there. Staff are friendly, approachable and always willing to help. Products are sorted well. Our Morkie puppy Money loved his puppy classes with Trainer Rachel who was a joy to work with! We will be continuing puppy education with this location.

    I just want to mention a good experience that i had with one of the staff "Vicky" in grooming salon.she is more than amazing . I took Coco my 6 years old cockapoo to get groomed .( Sunday October 16th). Vicky was very gentle and patient with Coco..she handled my dog with care.That is all i can ask for .it was actually Coco's 4th time having a great experience with her . Thank you vicky for all you do .🙏

    I exactly like this, first choice of being a animal dad. So i did alot of research and talk to petsmart workers in their experience in the field about beginners parents in animals, so spend crazy amounts of time inside and and i was a happy customer 😅 not to talk about the crazy spending but of you love your pets you should this store

    Great customer service - especially with the team leader Theresa! I had some issues with a toy I received, but she quickly helped resolve it and found a solution for me. I really appreciated all the patience and time she took to address my situation, and wishing her the best! I'm very happy with how she handled it and I would definitely recommend this store :) .

    Brought my pup here a couple times. Decent cuts but I get the vibe the groomers don't necessarily love/care too much. I'm sure their jobs are difficult but they're pretty dry with the animals. No greeting, no pets. Just grab the leash and go.

    Love the groomers here! When our puppy first came he was terrified and would scream really loudly. After a few appointments it was very clear how much the groomers had guided my puppy to tolerate baths. The staff try to get to know you and your dog. Which makes things more special and unique. They also gave me advice and tips to train him at home to be more comfortable with grooming sessions. This is one of my favourite PetSmarts to go to.

    There is only cat sale. There is no dog type sale. There is absolutely no variety when you want to buy a pet. you can only find the animals to eat. Bird breeds are very few. Aquarium variety is very small. Dissatisfied.
