    Changing my review to 2 stars. Went to shop here and stopped to eat sushi. The cashier machine was broken so I set to eat first and kept the barcode/box. The woman in the kitchen started to scream at me in front of my baby, that I have to pay first, drawing attention from other shoppers, made me feel like I am a thief. I asked her if I could pay after I finished my groceries shopping and she said no. I went to the main cashiers, waited in line, came back to eat, asked her for napkins, she was very unfriendly, gave me one little napkin and didn't even talk or answered when I said thank you. I believe she could ask me nicely to go pay first especially in front of a child. Sushi tasted like fridge sushi, nothing special and one roll was almost $10. I would give 1 star to the sushi place but I have no problem with Walmart. I would think twice before I get into this store again.

    Terrible location and the employees are BIASED here they let their friends shoplift and walk out. My daughter grabbed 2 breads by mistake and put one on the side where they had their returns along came an older Persian lady she picked up the bread and was walking away I told the lady employee Mitra but she didn't stop her from leaving the store. That is unfair and I'm sure if it wasn't a Persian and anyone else they would of attacked them.

    Forced to give a 1 star rating since ZERO is impossible. There is no sanitizing sheets for the carts at this location or hand sanitizer either. Thank God I carry my own Lysol sheets since the start of the pandemic. Walmart in general has TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE but I'm not sure why when Persian people work at Walmart they think they are the owners and they are superior to all and can talk down to anyone. This location as well as the Silver Linden location has ignorant Persian employees who are rude, biased and very judgmental. We were at self checkout when I requested a male employee to clean the machine for me since it is their job he started yelling at us and using bad words in Farsi which I understand and told him to watch his mouth and lose the attitude however he continued to mumble and did not clean it. Also in the back of the store near the Christmas trees and ornaments some sections were blocked off by employees having a meeting instead of sweeping like they were supposed to be doing 4 of them were not bothered that customers need to pass. Brought this to the attention of customer service and Katelynn was very friendly and understanding of the situation and apologized numerous times she had paged the CSM on duty to attend who finally did after making us wait over 10 minutes and honestly it would of been better if she didn't attend she was a clown who didn't understand what I was telling her asked me a irrelevant question I got frustrated and Katelynn was nice enough to explain to her what the issue was and the CSM had the audacity to tell me the employees are allowed to use bad language towards customers she can't stop them or control them I told her she was a joke and asked Kate to write down her name for me. Seems like Walmart just makes anyone a CSM or manager in this case Katelynn would of been a better choice than Chaitali who hardly knew English just like the men in the back speaking Filipino and the rude man speaking Farsi next time maybe the panhandler from outside will be hired as the manager

    Terrible location in terms of crowding and organization. Express line is never used for its intended purpose and anyone who just wants to buy a few items is basically forced to wait as real checkout aisles are never open and you are forced to use self checkouts which half of the customers have troubles using. Using cash is also very difficult here as self checkout machines only take cards. Yet another hectic Walmart. Only positive thing I can say is they have a decent variety of international and kosher products.

    Second time being wrongfully convicted of stealing something upon exiting the self checkout. The alarms never went off with us, while other people can just walk out after their alarm going off? Also, we were stopped by who I'm guessing is a loss and prevention guy, went through our bag and touched all our stuff and asked what every little thing is, and very randomly assumed we stole something.. he said "you're gonna have to go back through and pay for that" when we showed him the receipt with the cheese he thought we stole, he went "oh..have a nice night." This could've been done in a much better manner. We will not be going back

    My friend and I came June 17/23 in the morning for groceries. 30 eggs package was limited - one per customer. I took one and my friend was going to purchase one. The lady on the floor didn’t let us buy two,saying because we know each other, so only one we can buy. I said we are two customers with two separate bills. She said “no”. I call the manager, asked his name( young guy)- he turned his back on me, said he is not giving his name and then he confirmed, that doesn’t matter if they’re two bills,if we didn’t know each other- then they will sell us two packs. My question is - who trained those guys- the question is to the store manager????? The lady was so rude, yelled. Are those employees are passed the customer service training. I will forward my complaint to the HO.

    I visited this store many times and have the same bad experience. I would not waste a dollar or even a penny in this store. Some staff scurried back to the warehouse when you try to approach them and others do not respond even when you greeted them many times in less than 10 foot distance facing them. Is that a customer service? Avoid and ignore? The store is large. Surely, the staff should not expect a customer knows the locations of every items in this store. A star is not even worthy. The store deserves a zero rating. Also, shouldn’t they speak English during work hours? I’ve seen some staff talking in Filipino while ignoring their customers. Such unprofessional employees and no respect for the customers.

    Great layout, store is clean and everything were organized but the stuff that they sells aren’t rlly special compared with other stores. Not gonna lie I miss the old store design but the self check out line is a bit long because all the machines are broken and I wish some employees can just have a better customer service, when the things are on sale, the next day I go there everything were gone just wish they can have more supplies.

    The real Walmart super store in this area, the rest is not big enough to be a super store. The car section as well as the electric and household section are really big and good. The verity of products are good the kids section are perfect. Only the fruit and vegetables section is not good enough compared to the other things. But overall I am happy with this location.

    This walmart had its own issues, but I would say between the branches Ive been to this one was one of the best. Although it could use improvements, it is a highly satisfactory store. The space available is vast and you have a lot of ground to cover if you want to fully explore the store. The hallways are full of products and items but at the same time arent too tight and narrow to navigate. The signs are well placed and easily help you travel to the desired section. Shelves are fully stocked, greatly organized and neat. There are many self checkouts and a few cashiers as well. The employees are very kind and helpful, especially the cashier we dealt with who was exceptionally patient and kind. A problem I experienced in my time shopping here was that in electronics section, there was only one employee working and there were a lot of people waiting for him in line. I didnt know this but apparently each section of the store (electronics, home, etc) has one employee that carries the keys for the locked shelves in that specific section. This made the wait time extremely long as I had to wait for the employee to help everyone before he could open a shelf for me. I would suggest having more employees with keys in different sections, especially electronics which can get quite busy. To sum up, a great branch of walmart with top tier employees and store organization. Will definitely be back!

    The new renovation has pros and cons. Line ups are faster but the set up in store is massive that your time is wasted to go from one end to the end. Quality comparing to other chains like Costco is poor and very pricy.

    Pathetic e-Commerce company. They are not in Amazon’s league by a galaxy. They don’t stand behind orders by 3rd party sellers. I ordered an iPad. 1.5 weeks later, nothing. They couldn’t tell where it was and when it would arrive. They hung up on me when I complained. The customer service people are in India and are powerless. One even hung up on me after saying he would cancel my order. The supervisor that I complained to wouldn’t tell me his name and also hung up on me. Unreal and brutal experience. I will boycott Walmart both in store and online. And the business number in their email listed a company number that doesn’t exist in the Ontario registry. Unbelievable. They don’t vet their 3rd party sellers.

    I come to this Walmart when I'm visiting family as I live in Ottawa. This location is very convenient and has the foods I need to buy. I have a major issue with the self check out lanes. Last night at around 9pm, only a few were open with the other side blocked off. The line up was all the way to the produce section. Finally the other side opened up. Today at 10:00am, again only 5 self check outs were open and the other side was closed. I don't see the purpose of having self check out when half of them are not open. The excuse of not having enough staff is not a good excuse since it is the customer that checks themselves out. I feel that self-check outs take jobs away from people and increase shop lifting, which increases in a prices going higher.

    Missing $50 worth of food from my online grocery delivery. Sent a refund request right away for the missing items this morning and received an email saying further validation is required in order to process my refund request - Return Cancelled. I buy from Walmart on a weekly basis and will remove this review once my money has been refunded. However, I will also be looking for alternatives. Drivers should be checked.

    Totally mixed opinion of this location. Walked in to buy mason jars and the first employee was incredibly helpful, directly walking me to the exact aisle I needed. Sad part was that only remaining pack of 750ml mason jars had be opened with one missing (not sure when this happened so I won't hold the store responsible). It was strange that on the way out I was stopped to show my receipt. First and only time I've experienced this at a Walmart. Maybe it's because I went to McDonalds before leaving, but two other people did the exact same thing and were not stopped.

    Terrible experience!! I've been thier costumer over a decade. But recently they started to have a terrible costumer service. They don't honor thier own misleading prices on products. The new bakery overpriced everything, and putting misleading signs. Moreover, they saying they are not walmart, not coming back there anymore!! I rather go to any other location but this one!

    The cashiers are mean and rude, the security has embarrassed us like we stoled a lot of items as we only forgot to scan two lipsticks out of three worth of 7 dollars. They could have communicated this problem much better than this.

    The store is located in Smartcentres Thornhill and has lots of parking spots available. It is a big well-maintained superstore and they have been keeping it clean, especially during Covid-19 pandemic. It has a great collection of fresh vegetables and fruits. You also can find many cookware, clothing, cosmetics and entertainment options here. The staff are helpful and friendly.

    Today I went here , I got a cart with the broken plastic handle. My glove is ripped by the broken part, I wasn’t happy. you can see they have glued the broken part with a piece of garbage , how Walmart respects customers like this. It’s not acceptable ! but the other products were good! Whenever you come to Walmart and want to grab a cart, make sure, it’s fine , otherwise it will hurt your hand.🙃

    Decent Walmart branch with various products and friendly staff, yet their customer service is SOOOO SLOW! Must wait in line for a long time as they process the returns very slowly. I go shopping in the evenings and usually there’s a line and only one associate at the counter. Maybe better to revise your training methods.

    The store itself is always clean and well-stocked. The women's bathrooms, on the other hand, are beyond disgusting. Any time I've been there, the stalls are dirty and not flushed. Toilet paper on the floors and smelly. Also, they don't refill. I've complained, but there is no change. They have to step up and check them more frequently.

    I went to the photo centre for printing some pictures and I wasn’t sure how to do it. Melika was helping me to upload all of my pictures and edit them. She was patient and super nice. I had some problem for pictures because they were in the different folders. At the end she got all of my pictures. I would recommend printing the pictures in this location.

    Bounty paper towel was advertised on sale this week. I hv been to the store twice & visited another store & none of them had any in stocks? I find this very strange as there was no display at the front of the store when items are on sale & the 6pk bounty for the same price as the 8pk can be seen, & no rain check is given out. I feel Walmart is misleading their customers with false advertised. It's impossible that no store will hv this product available at all.

    Margaret was amazing at the costumer service table. I usually don’t write reviews but i had gone back to Walmart many times and every time they sent me home for returning a purchase i had made a month ago which was 100$. 3rd time i went there and Margaret was there to help me and she was very fast with it.     Going every weekend to get my Grocery…. Always wonderful experience regarding cleanliness and friendly staff but most of time they are out of products…. But overall great place for your daily needs things and food. Various things on discount every time. The major issue is parking, they have a huge parking but the crazy thing, I see a scratch on my car when I came back after my shopping , it’s may be from shopping cart, so park on your on risk.……. But otherwise best place…… Must visit….

    Got our Antigen covid tests done tonight and I just had to write a review on our experience because our pharmacist Sandra A was SO wonderful. She made our whole experience so quick and easy and even offered to give us our flu shots the same time. We are so appreciative. Thank you so much Sandra for being so great to us!

    They had sold me a bag of rice with live bugs in it but they assured me it has never happened before and replaced the bag of rice no questions asked. Management seems to to have good logic and organization at this location. Employees seem to have much integrity.

    This place is very clean , service is fast the only thing is Associates should be more friendly and helpful and management should be able to teach customer service to associates , the better associates act the better and more clientele they would have . And that goes to all Walmart stores

    Most of the products that I was looking for was easy to find, there were some empty shelf spaces but most were filled ready to be purchased. The store was very clean and staff were always around to help.

    I wanted to commend Rita (the store manager) on an amazing customer service experience. Her patience and determination to resolve my issue genuinely changed my opinion of Walmart’s customer service team. She went above and beyond her role to ensure I left satisfied and my previous frustrations were obliterated. She is a definite asset to your team and I appreciate all her hard work and efforts!

    Why do I go to Walmart? Yes! they have ten (10) Self checkouts and (10) ten cashiers, and that gives people options. Customer service is great for anything you can't find. Shoppers and other big supermarkets such as Loblaws only have one cashier or maybe two and 8 - 10 Self Checkouts. This is wrong! This is why I have decided to do all my shopping at Walmart. Simply put, a better shopping experience overall. Great prices as well.

    The customer service at this location needs some serious improvement. The employees make it seem as though they are doing you a favour when answering any questions. I came to the photo centre to pick up an online order at 9:30am. The guy behind the counter refused to help me because according to him the photo centre opens at 10am. Meanwhile he was on his cell phone, making personal transactions. I didn’t want to argue so I waited 30 min. When I came back at 10am, there was another lady talking on her cell phone. This was clearly a personal call. When I got another lady’s attention, she confirmed that the photo centre actually opens at 9am! The management at this store needs to train their staff properly.

    Summary of my visit this morning: Careless staff, rude attitude, seemed like workers show up as they wish. I called at 8:30 am in the morning to ask what the photo center opens and I was told 9 am. I drove 10 kms, got there at 9 am, went to the photo centre customer service. The unfriendly guy, with an annoyed attitude said, the photographer is not here. I said I was told they will be there at 9 am. He gave me a look and said, he is coming late, just wait. I waited 10 minutes, and another staff came and asked if i needed help. I said I was told to wait for the photographer. She had the exact same attitude as the guy and said, they are late and probably coming at 930 am. I said, I work with a customer based business too and if I am running late, I call and inform my colleagues. Has your colleague called and inform you? She said, ask a manager. I said where is the manager? She did not even bother to answer and started chit chatting with a guy that was there. I asked three other staff to get a manager and they all disappeared. Seriously, is this Walmart's customer service? Is this how this location's management run the business? Is it because of shortage of competent staff? Suggest to the management, please train your front line on "what is high class customer service and how to provide it". Staff like these, ruine the company's reputation. At least they did it for me. I am not going to this location ever again. I don't pay for rude and unfriendly attitude.

    I love Curb Side Pickup option that lets me choose everything on my own paste & go to pickup almost anytime of day or night with just few minutes wait time. Could get all the specials as well as option of same or better substetutions in case they don't have the items you wanted. Only thing that I just had bad experience in my last visit was that I had an item missing & when asked about it from associate who brought my items, he told me that I receive an email automatically within few minutes & get a refund for it. Surprise that after over an hour, I had to call & talk with another person to give me the item's credit within minutes & if I did not call or forget about it, probably never saw my refund.
