I would have loved to have given 5 stars, based on the fantastic facial done by Robert, but unfortunately I have to base it on the entire experience. Robert was kind, professional, funny, and knowledgeable, and I enjoyed our conversation. My skin looks great after getting the hydrating facial, so he is obviously great at what he does. He even apologized for the below, even though it had nothing to do with him. Disclaimer: This is my first less-than-5-star rating I've ever written. I phoned yesterday to book a facial for two, as it was a late gift to my mom for Mother's Day. When I phoned, the very first thing I said was, "I was wondering if you had any time available tomorrow for facials for two people?" That was only the first time I mentioned 2 people. Later, she said she was going to put us down for the "Choose the best" facial, unless we had something else in mind. I said, "My mom said she wants the Pure + Simple facial, so we'll do that." A bit later, she said, "Let me get your info down," and put me on hold without telling me she was going to put me on hold. I kind of laughed at it, hearing this obnoxious hold beep, but then after waiting for about two minutes, I started thinking, 'Did she cut me off accidentally?" trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, as it sounded like she was new. She returned and apologized for the wait - no problem. She later sent me a survey via text for us to complete. Both my mom and I completed our own copies. Fast forward to today, the lady at the front (I don't know if that's who I was talking to over the phone yesterday, or what), warmly greeted us, and asked, "Hi ladies, are you here for facials?" To which we replied, "Yes." She told us to take a seat, and then she asked for our names. We both gave her our names. She kindly offered to bring us some water, to which we politely declined. Robert came out to greet me and took me into the room. I thought since I booked for two, that my mom and I would be getting it done together. Since I had not been there before, I thought, 'I guess they don't do that here.' My mom said that while I was already starting my facial, she asked the lady at the front if her own facial would be starting soon. The lady said she didn't have my mom booked. When my mom asked if she could come and get me, because the whole purpose was to go together for Mother's Day, the lady said she'd have to phone her manager. I guess once she phoned the manager, the only option was to come back at 5pm, more than 4 hours after our original appointment time. There was no other option given. My mom then came into the room with Robert to let me know (as I think he had clued in that she wasn't getting it done either), and since I had already started (and wouldn't want to walk out on Robert losing business), she just spent the hour wandering around the block, in 30°+ weather. I felt horrible. The whole purpose of the visit was to spoil my amazing mom, and I wouldn't have even gone for a facial if she wasn't having one. We don't even live close by, so she basically came for a car ride for no reason. I don't like giving bad reviews, because I do understand that people have their off days and that mistakes do happen. But the fact that they didn't apologize, at least on behalf of the person who booked the appointment, left me annoyed. That was the least they could have done, and I would have been okay with it. From the reviews, this seems to be a one-off, so hopefully they can fix their issues with admin, or continue training them.

I booked the glow facial promo and left with very congested skin around my nose area still. I’ve had better facials for the same price. Esthetician was very nice.

I had the most amazing Revitalizing Pear Fig facial from Robert! I'm a long-time fan of Pure & Simple products-- their products are consistently high-quality, clean and effective. Robert's expertise though made the facial an *experience*. From the massage to the calming atmosphere he created.. I was floating out of the room. Shout-out to Carmen too for stellar customer service and answering all my questions. I felt well taken care of by the friendly and knowledgeable staff and impeccably clean environment. Thank you!

I have been going to pure and simple for over 1 years now for facials and Sepideh is extremely knowledgeable and provides great service. I always come back with glowing skin and the effect lasts for months. Overall I don’t have many skin concerns but I do have combination skin so I require extractions from time to time and also brightening treatments. sepideh in pure and simple the beach always know what’s best for my skin. Great service , process as well. Definitely recommend.

Robert gave my very apprehensive 13 year old an amazing facial for her broken out skin. He was very gentil and helped explain what she needed to manage her skin and give it what it needs. She's now asking to go back monthly! Highly recommend.

I've been to Pure + Simple Locations before and have never had a negative experience. This was my first time coming to this location and it was such an amazing experience that I had to write a review. My skin had been probably in the worst state it's been for a long time, came back from a trip and just found that it was breaking out left right and centre, full of texture and just not in a good place. I had my facial with Robert, who was absolutely incredible, he knew exactly what to recommend. He also educated me on different types of moisturizers I could use on my skin since I have yet to find the right products for my skin & gave me some helpful tips on how to continue to prevent acne. He was so attentive and truly cared. I felt so taken care of by such a knowledgeable person. Thank you Robert for taking care of my skin & for your passion in what you do! My skin (face) is completely rejuvenated and the best it's ever looked in a while. This team was awesome - right before I called for more details on parking etc, they thoroughly explained how to get to the store/park before even getting there! I'll definitely be back! I come to Pure + Simple for the hair removal service (IPL). The service is done for me by Sepideh, she is very professional and kind. This procedure on the whole could be a little stressful, but she always makes sure that I feel calm and relaxed throughout it which is very helpful. The space and equipments are very clean and other staff members are also quite welcoming.

Appalled by the manner in which this location has chosen to end a long term relationship. In this day and age when a customer is loyal, tips well—only to be dismissed. Are you kidding me? No words. And frankly, their facials are overpriced. And calibre of said service, pretty average. It must be nice to pick and choose and discriminate who your customers are.

I went there for the first time last week for a facial. For $115 the facial was definitely not worth it. It felt like face massage more than a facial as I left the place with the same clogged pores as I walked in. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

The service here is great! I bought a package of 6 facials to improve my skin before my wedding and it was the best decision. The staff is really knowledgeable and make excellent product recommendations. I noticed real results after my first facial, and my skin only continued to improve.

I recently had a facial at The Beaches location. I must say one of, if not, the best facial I have had. The facials here are fantastic. First you are on a heated table with blankets. There's a phenomenal neck and upper chest massage, relaxing music. The products feel very gentle on the skin. There is normally a bit of a sales pitch for product after the facial when you are paying but everyone has to make a living right.

Wow! Words cannot describe the relief I feel after my first facial at Pure and Simple . I've been having skin concerns for over a year that resulted from not knowing my skin type and then using the wrong products for my skin. Sepideh was so patient and helpful in listening to my concerns and educated me on how to properly take care of my skin once she figured out my actual skin type. During the facial she explained what she was targeting and what the benefits were of using specific tools for each step. The environment of the spa was very relaxing and calming. After the facial was done she continued to inform me of how to further treat and take care of my skin and helped me form a new routine. My skin was glowing and looked so healthy immediately after the facial. I've been using the products she recommended for the last several days and already my skin is much more balanced. I seriously cannot emphasize enough how relieving it is after buying product after product that didn't work and spending so much money on skincare that was just damaging my skin. I only wish I had seen Sepideh earlier! Either way, Sepideh is very professional and warm. It was like speaking with a friend who just wanted the best for me and my skin.
