Will never be returning to Silver Spoon again after what we found in our lollipop chicken. 2 separate pieces had unsanitary objects in them. The 1st one we found a plastic piece and the 2nd one had a feather. Do you not inspect and clean your food before using it?!?! I'm sure there are several more health violations here. I would think twice before anyone visits here.

Great location for North Indian and Pakistani cuisine value for money takeout. There is a wide variety of choices with appetizers, curries, vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. This is a takeout-only location no seatings for dining. My favorite is Biryani, Kebabs and Butter chicken.

Ordered biryani but it did NOT taste like how biryani should have. Plain white rice mostly, tasted watered down, without any spice - the rice tasted like I was eating boiled rice with a few orange pieces, no flavour. Their biryani used to be so good, not anymore. Never again.

Love their food in general. It has been a while since I have been here. They have changed pricing to some kind of weight system. What used to be $10.99 a large container now cost $19.99. Definitely not worth the quantity as it is NOT even full. Next time sticking to buying a whole chicken elsewhere or going to Chinese Hakka.

Very disappointed with the Chicken chow mein; it had a funny vinegary smell which they tried to cover up by sprinkling the noodles with black peppers. Who puts black pepper on noodles ??? The taste was not right and the smell put me off from eating it; I had to throw it away, wasted $7.99. Don’t ever buy Chicken chow mein or anything that resembles noodles from them again. The fish pakora had more batter than fish, definitely not worth the money even when it was the special for Monday. Silver spoon, it is time you started taking notes of the poor quality food and cover ups that your cook is doing and fix it; this is not acceptable. You cannot continue to cheat your customers.

I use to frequent this location until I noticed black mold growing on the glass cover which had condensation dripping into the food!!!! Disgusting!! immediately felt sick to my stomach and will not go back there ever.

It was quite a bad experience. The food has 0 level of taste. They will not give you what they have in their menu, they will provide you what they have. Their thali says you will get "one panner curry" But they gave me "chana masala" Instead. Their naan, they call them "Naan", but it's actually " Kulcha". I'm very disappointed with their service and taste. I will not recommend anyone to try their food.

We usually order biryani and had a good experience. But today ordered Sindhi biryani & lahori fish and wr very disappointed. Thanks for giving alot of rice but they wr mushy and sticked together. There ws only one chicken pc in 1 box and two half sized legs in the 2nd..havn't opened 3rd box yet. We didnt like the taste of it, sorry but it ws only a lot of red chillies. Disappointed to spend 50 bucks on that quality of food.

Some food is good but most of them are very oily and seem oily. Do not buy combos here, as they claim half pound chicken, which wasn't (see picture), and they are not worth prices. Needs to teach their staff a smiling and more friendly approach.

Tried their chicken biryani for the first time. The portion size was big but the rice had barely any taste. It was too mildly flavoured. I would not buy it again. They have a wide variety of chicken appetizers and other items which I did not try. Will update review once I try any of them.

The best pakistani food in greater toronto area by a mile. Silver spoon's nihari, biryani and lahori fish are just amazing in taste.

I recently placed 2 orders for take out from here through Uber eats. My first order was excellent and they gave me very nice and big portions. But 2nd order was half the size of previous order, even though it was the exact same order. I ordered 1/2 pound chicken with rice both times. For some reason, there's a big difference in their portion sizes. It's very inconsistent and very disappointing. I won't be ordering again.

Regular customer here, impressed by their nice food, central location, Halal options with affordable prices, including delicious kebabs, signature biryani, flavorful samosas, and a wide range of non-veg dishes. With good service, it's a must-try for food lovers! 🍽️👌 #Halal #Foodie

Great place to get fast take out! Love the nihari, lollipop chicken and kebobs. I do find a lot of the food is unnecessarily too spicy at times. Great Naan as well. Usually very busy, and with the single line system can get a bit crowded and disorganized.

If I could give negative stars I would. Just placed party tray orders from this place a few days ago. Curries were drowned in oil and the whole meal was set to be veggie even the rice but when we looked in the rice we found Chicken in there. They most likely cooked Chicken Biryani and just pulled the larger chicken bits out of it to make it look veggie - I have pictures of this and it is disgusting. The Silver Spoon team should be ashamed of offering these options. If you are a veggie, do not trust these people with your dietary restrictions.

Twice now I have ordered from this location for catering. Once before the pandemic and once after. Both times they were excellent. More recently I ordered catering for 50 people for an important event. They got the food on time, and it was very well cooked. They always give good portions and everyone loved it. I would recommend them 100%.

A very decent and inexpensive take-out place for Indian/Pakistani food located conveniently in Heartland Mississauga. The food tastes authentic Mughlai style as the chef and staff seem primarily from Pakistan or Punjab and they tend to naturally rub in the best flavours of spices and herbs that you are familiar with from back home restaurants offering Punjabi food. Tried a couple of their family combo-packs (4 & 6) for a party and it worked out very well for the quantity as their were a bunch of kids also on the guest list … so it might be worth planning for a few extra packs as the portion size is just a tad too on the smaller side. Overall the variety offered in snacks/appetizers and main course dishes is great to keep everyone happy with something or the other … so it works out really well for the price you pay. Plan to go there and get it packed in front of you in a long queue and although that might be torturous for some people it is worth the pain and online/phone calls might not serve the exact same purpose!

Ohhh My God... totally garbage food. I ordered chicken Tikka massala. Gravy was extremely tangy like a lemon juice. Even i can't breathe after one bite. And the Naan was pre-made. Don't waste your money and time.

Good restaurant with lot of options. The biryanis are cheap here just we get for $6. We had Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani and Regular Biryani with extra spice, Fish fry spicy and Chicken samosas. All are delicious. Samosas are small for the price and biryanis have less chicken more rice. But, still worth to try.

Had Biryani and lollipop chicken here several times. We also enjoyed the special whole chicken with rice - the chicken was very juicy, tender and flavorful. We ended up enjoying one for lunch and one for dinner - easily serves 3 adults - Update - they've increased price to $19+tax. The service is a bit lacking though therefore taking off one star. Also we called and ordered ahead and they ended up taking 15 minutes longer than they promised.

We have been going to silver spoon for a while. Their food is good but recently they introduced Falooda for only $3.99. It’s amazing! We love the sweetness level, taste and the price. The other night we got Faloodas and the the owner gave us a few free samosas as it was the end of the day. It was nice!

Went here to grab some food. Ordered the angara chicken naan wrap. What i got was a lettuce wrap with 1 piece of chicken spread across the naan. (See picture), and it is a big naan....the chicken was quite dwarfed.... When i called them out about the one piece the girl grabbed and semi-hid and ran to the kitchen to make the wrap, they added more, then looked like they took out everything but the original piece when building the wrap. I could hear them arguing in punjabi about how much chicken goes in the wrap in the kitchen. It was quite insulting, actually, i paid for the food....not like it was free. This is the Britannia location, and the kids they have working at the front desk are some of the rudest people I've come across in a while. I debated writing this post, but the chicken wrap is a regular item i purchase, and the extreme lack of chicken is blatantly obvious and disgusting. I understand shrinkflation, but at this point, they're just ripping us off, i pay for chicken....they give me naan and lettuce. It was pathetic and extremely dishonest of them. On top of that, we asked for our recipt multiple times.....did not get a receipt. This place used to be great but is such a hit and miss now... mostly miss. If you haven't been here before, do yourself a favor and dont waste your money unless you can't make it absolutely anywhere else.

I have ordered party trays multiple times with big quantity but this time it was not a good experience with the foods. Biriyani had many bones without any chicken looked like some old mixture. On an average this kind of bones were there atleast one for every plate from one of the biriyani tray. Also spring roll tray was not good, it had very less/none vegetables stuffings. I will think about giving big orders in future. Called the owner/manager on the number provided by the stuffs for feedback and he was supposed to get back but even after 48hrs didn't get any response.

Awesome fresh food. Specially chicken and sindhi biryani. Rajveer from Silverspoon made sure I got fresh food and a replacement was provided instantly when one of the items in my order was not ready. Thanks Rajveer!

I won't even give this place a star. A friend recommended that I go there and I've never been more disappointed with a group of people who were rude and so biased. When I tried to give my order to 3 people behind the counter who approached me, they looked at me and moved passed me to take orders from people who were behind me in the line. An older gentleman came over only to ignore my order and move pass me again to speak to the people behind me who were being served already. Suffice it to say, that I am not of their heritage. This establishment's bias was very obvious, even to the people in line behind me. I left and will not come back.

Very poor customer service. We just bought some naan breads around 7pm, We just picked and came home. To our surprise They were hard like rock. We called at silver spoon to tell them about issue which was attended by employee name “RAJMEER” who told her a manager. Instead of listening she started started saying, no body complained and you are only one complaining Looks like customer feedback is a least interest for her / silver spoon as she was not even ready to listen to our call kept saying they have not got any complain, we are the only one complaining. She asked for a picture of naan, we told her how a picture would give idea naans are hard. Sorry to write, but looks a very basic common sense was missing on her part, how to respond to customer and accept issue and just apologies and commit for improvement rather she kept arguing and started behaving roundly. Finally we asked for owner number to talk, instead of telling us a number she dropped the call. Hope owner will take a notice of their employees and give them some training how to respond to customers.

The briyani taste was good few months ago but nowadays it is a total waste of money to eat plain coloured rice. We order spicy briyani since there will be more masala in it but now we’ve decided never to go here again. I guess they are trying to earn money by increasing the prices recently too and cheating customers giving plain rice with colour.

This is the best place to have Pakistani food at affordable prices. Their spicy chicken biryani is the best. The spices are well balanced and gives you the authentic taste. I have been to this place many times and is the first choice if i want good flavourful food. I often visit this place after work and they never say NO as sometimes i got late and they were preparing for closing. The staff is very friendly specially the lady whom i met 2-3 times while picking food while they are closing. I will highly recommend this place to everyone. Must try once. And don’t forget to try their “Sooji Halva”. You won’t get it anywhere else.

October 21, 2023 (2 months since my 2nd email to Silver Spoon): Drum roll, please ... Actually, it is quite sad that I did not receive a response from them via email. What great customer service skills! Gotta love their lack of professionalism. A round of applause for them. 👏👏👏 Fun fact: I even had a receipt. Yupparoos, I attached it twice to both of the emails that I sent to them. Silver Spoon, do not bother responding now because it doesn't matter anymore. Previous Update: On August 21, 2023, the owner responded and asked that I resend my email. So that's what I did. 🙃 Note that my initial email (separate from my review) was sent on August 3, 2023. My Initial Review: I wrote an email to Silver Spoon (on the same day I made a purchase) regarding all of the bones (without any meat on them) in the lamb karahi. Do you think they were kind enough to respond? No! They didn't have the decency to respond nor apologize. If you want poor service and a lot of bones in your meal, then this is the place to go to. I am not the type of person to complain nor do I enjoy putting down a business but I am beyond disappointed in their service and lack of response. I pretty much paid full price for some sauce and a lot of bones with only 1 or 2 pieces of lamb meat (see the enclosed pictures). My apologies for the negative review but I think it is necessary that people know what they may receive from your restaurant.

Great takeout spot for south Asian halal. Service is fast and food is fresh given high turnaround they regularly refill/rotate their offerings. We have been coming here for years, for quick bites to trays for special occasions it’s always on point and tasty. Fair prices for quantity offered.
