It's always clean and well maintained but It feels very stressful to get in here. Tensions always feels very high with people not understanding if they are getting in or not and the life guards always seem highly tense as well. Even now with registration, if u register a couple of hours before your time it seems like they give you a hard time. And fyi - they make you wear a mask outside while social distancing and while on the deck This didn't happen last year since we are outside and social distanced.. other than that, once you are in it's good. I wish they would let you swim for the whole hour after everything you have to go through before you get to the pool.. at least make it worth it lol

Hallways crowded due to construction. No locks on dressing rooms. FYI as of Oct 10 2023 so if you're reading this a month from now, hopefully things are better.

So wonderful to have an indoor golf space available! The Golf instructor is super wonderful with both his adult and kids classes. Way to go John!

I'm very disappointed with the way renovations have seemingly been abandoned, leaving the residents of this community without a community centre for what I'm assuming will be at least the entire summer. I haven't seen any work being done inside or outside in months, and it's clear they still have a lot of work to do in order to get the pool open in time to use it this year. Looking inside windows, it looks like the building was abandoned years ago with the amount of construction trash left behind many months ago. As usual, this city is an embarrassment with their inability to get construction jobs done in the timeline they've set themselves. Of course, I could be wrong and a miracle could happen in the next few weeks where they'll do 90% of the work that wasn't completed in the past 9 months since they started, but I'm not holding my breath.

Parking lot not too bright , feel unsafe

Not sure I want to break the secret, but this is one of the best places to learn how to skate. Taking photos is prohibited inside the arena.

Change rooms are decent sized and the ice surface is good. The sight lines aren't that great but good, clean facility

My kids have skating classes here. On first day, all kids were gathered and tested for their skills. Staff didn't follow the levels which kids were registered in. They tested the kids and put them into their actual skill group. Not many places do this. Great work team!

Basketball floor is very bad, and slippery. I am not playing going to play basketball at Goulding Park. Its a danger to everyone that plays, i saw a kid unable to stop and hit the wall very bad. this is a terrible abuse of TAX dollars, at least clean the floors on the court.

Leisure skates ( family), outdoor pool.....even though the staff are very much resourceful I suggest you walk to the center to get information instead of phone calls, If you get someone to answer your call then count your blessings 😃😃😃

Goulding Community Centre has a great outdoor pool for cooling down with the kids. It has a spray-tower, stairs and a ramp for accessibility, and some Muskoka chairs around the edge to relax in. It's not a good pool for lengths or serious exercise, but it's open all afternoon and evening in the summers.

Great facility for both hockey and baseball. Two diamonds outside, one rink inside. The place is always busy and the staff are super friendly and willing to help where they can. Also, the snack bar! Who doesn't want a hot dog while watching a baseball game?

I started the group Golf in my 66 years old under the guidance of John. In the first month I almost gave up, because it seemed to me very difficult to master swing at my age. But John, as an experienced instructor, inspired me and for 4 months of training has done with me the difficult path of a beginner. I am very grateful to John for his patience and skills as a coach. I highly recommend him not only to experienced players, but also to beginners! Chris, one of Goulding CC's golf instructors, is also an amazing coach. He really cares about each student. Attentive, responsive and caring, he monitors students' progress and improves their skills step by step. His style of teaching is based on a well designed plan, training methodology and respect. It enables students to master separate elements as well as the entire swing. I highly recommend Chris as a professional instructor. Thank you very much.
