Matteo is the coolest 😎 and most capable 👨‍🎤👨🏻‍🍳 barrista/chef this side of Seattle... he was so friendly with my wife and I, poured us the most perfect pair of espresso ☕️ coffees, and made us a set deee-lish egg 🍳 and dessert 🧇 waffles! Our first of many return visits... Taste 😋 for yourself, you’ll love it! 👌

Got myself a berry smoothie, and a western waffle sando! Both VERY good, I can't wait to go back for another! Really nice guy running the place, and he is a one-man-army, he does EVERYTHING, and does it well!

We found the place through googling. We order three waffles (BELT/Mighty Meatball/Funky Monkey)and all of them were so delicious. The prices are reasonable. The owner is very kind and passionate about his food. After trying, I can understand why 5 stars on reviews are trustful. It’s totally worth it!

This place is definetly a must go if you are in the area. I got the Vanilla oat iced latte and it was pretty good. I might replace the vanilla with sugar next time for another perspective. While you're waiting for your coffee he is really talkative and I enjoyed getting to know about the blend and getting a little bit of a background on him. I think that's really unique and kind of makes you feel like you're friends. I won't divulge anymore details, you'll have to go to find out more! I would try the waffles next time I go though 😊

Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! Ordered ATC waffle (Avocado, tomatoes, and cream cheese), Falafel waffle, funky monkey waffle, butterscotch caramel latte, and Banana loaf. Sad to hear that they are closing this location soon 😭

I consider myself to be extremely fortunate to have come across this gem of a place. Great coffee options, great bagel quality, but most of all, the best wraps in the whole of Toronto. It is unbelievable how good the wraps are. I have explored ALOT of places and this is better than any other place by miles. The purity of the food is surpassed only by the man who makes them who is a wonderful man. Must visit really.

Stopped by randomly for coffee and bagel and lucky I did. They were both excellent and possibly the best I've had in Toronto in some time. The coffee was superb and is apparently quite unique in its crafting. Great service too. A homegrown, unique gem in the area for sure.

Ordered Funky Monkey Waffle, Matcha Frappe and Chai Spice Frappe. The waffle is amazing! The matcha frappe is tastier than the Starbucks alternative. The food is so much better than your typical "gourmet" cafe and the prices are inexpensive. The owner is so friendly and makes you feel homey on your visit. Will be coming back again to this awesome café.

Love the new chic cups. It spontaneously matched my outfit so well😁. But on the real, its built in sleeve is wonderful, the lids are awesome too, with that little cover on top. Works so well with skip, you never know who's hands your food will fall into. Its comforting knowing my lattes are covered and clean. Ps I forgot to mention oat milk instead of cows milk like I normally do, and the chef called me to confirm instead of just making it. SO GREATFUL! Love this place.

Went there for the first time today and had a great talk with the owner! Very kind and definitely top notch customer service. The coffee is his own and he roasts it himself, super fresh coffee and absolutely delicious! Will definitely be coming back around a lot for more!:)

Man, this guys is amazing. He is innovative with his skills, so friendly and passionate. He uses fresh products and makes best waffles. His average waffle is 6 to 7 bucks, but trust me he can easily sell them for 12 to 13 bucks. Cheap price, best quality.

Matteo is a very friendly guy who makes a mean cup of coffee. You can tell how much time and effort he puts into everything he does in his kitchen. His ingredients are top notch and he will love to tell you about them if you ask. The food preparation here is very transparent. He deeply cares about delivery quality; I've seen him turn uber eats drivers away for not bringing the thermal bag. He doesn't want a single bad order to go to his customers. He also has vegan options for people who care about that. The icing on the cake? His prices are lower than other premium coffee chains that you're probably familiar with. Arveen's Express Cafe is definitely a more humanizing approach than other options in the area for coffee and confectionary. If you want a well made drink or homemade baked goods, I'd highly recommend giving it a go.

Woww…Woww….Woww…I am very glad that we found this cafe on the way to grocery store. We ordered waffle BLT sandwich, Egg white avacado bagel and a hot chocolate. This was one of the amazing breakfast I had in toronto. This little gem has a various varieties of breakfast options. The chef was very passionate of what he is doing. Must try breakfast place around the york university area. Definitely a must go again place🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Ever since I first found this place I've been coming around ever week. I love talking to the owner, Matteo is the definition of the nicest guy in the world. He really goes out of his way to get to know everyone that comes to his cafe. His pastries are home made and absolutely delicious. The coffee here is absolutely perfect, even if your not a coffee lover he has something for everyone here. This place is the most hidden gem place in all of North York. This wonderful man deserves all the attention he can get from the quality and service he provides. I always get a ice coffee here, it's brewed to perfection. Absolutely fun fact, I had to cut a perfectly fine date short just to make sure I could make it before Matteo's cafe closed for the day, that's how good this place is to me.
