We finally gave Viet Thai Kitchen a try several days ago and, overall, the food was tasty and fresh with reasonable portions. However, it was a little confusing to order because, even though there are pictures online of some of their dishes, it was hard to figure out what was what exactly. We ended up ordering Bun Bo Hue, Suki Yaki Glass Noodles and Pork Fresh Rolls. It seems that we received what we actually ordered but, the “picture” that we thought it was going to be, ended up being very different.

Very good Thai restaurant. Everything was full of flavour and spice, unlike some of the more westernized Thai food. We ordered norther Thai vermicelli and pineapple fried rice, I tried the fried rice after taking a few bites of the already super flavourful and spicy vermicelli, yet I could still fully appreciate the very distinct spices and flavour in the fries rice! Of course I do think if you prefer food with fewer spices this restaurant may not be for you. Also their Thai milk tea was really unique too! It is definitely very different from regular boba tea. All in all I think if you enjoy flavourful foods you must try it out!

This place exceeded expectations. Presentation was clean and beautiful, prices were fair, service was fast and friendly, and most importantly, the flavours were vibrant, fresh, and true to the culture. Will definitely return.

*edit* I am so disappointed that the quality of food i first enjoyed at Viet Thai Kitchen is no longer the same. I have now received two orders via Uber eats that ignored my food allergy of scallions/green onions. It's so easy to leave them off, why can't you follow this simple request? Also, the meat in the lemongrass pork was so fatty and had none of the delicious char on it. Also when I look back on the picture i posted last year, the vegetables looked so fresh, not the case for my order today. So sad.* I am so glad I found this place! This was the most delicious lemongrass Bún vermicelli bowl I've ever had. They were able to accommodate a food intolerance as well. Thank you guys, your food is really wonderful!!

Ordered takeout from this restaurant today and I thought it was great! I ordered a couple bowls of pho and pad thai. I think the quality and taste are fairly similar to other pho places I've visited in the past. Nothing wildly amazing, just a simple but delicious meal, hence the 4 stars. The portion size was definitely fair for the price so I'm really not sure why some others have been complaining about this in their reviews. The staff were nice and made sure that I had what I ordered. They appeared to be following necessary COVID safety measures. For me, it's close to home, so the next time I happen to be craving pho, I'll definitely return to this restaurant!

Came here on a Tuesday night at 7pm and was able to easily get a table of 2. Ordered the dinner for 2 which included springs rolls, chicken pad thai and red curry with rice. The food was delicious! They gave 2 full bowls of rice which was surprising. Total came to be $40 with 13% service included. The server, which I assumed was the owner, was really kind and friendly. Would recommend and come back to try other dishes.

Very very good Vietnamese and Thai food. I usually stay away from combo places (like pick one and stick with it) but made an exception for this place and glad I did. I'm not sure if the purveyors of this place are Vietnamese or Thai but it really doesn't matter as both cuisine options on their menu are top-notched. Friendly service. Good Bun Rieu is a hard to find in Toronto and they have a good one. The Khao Soi is also OG so for a mixed cuisine place offering excellent quality food in each is rare. Don't judge the plaza they are in or the area, Vic Park and Eg is fast becoming a foodie paradise.

Follow @bredgyeats for more food photos! Spare Ribs Vermicelli - This tangy tomato broth seemingly disappears as the thin rice noodles steal it all away and deliver it into your mouth, topped with Vietnamese coriander and bean sprouts that provide a crisp texture, and pork ribs that are super tender.

Place is nice has enough seating. Got the Chicken Pho comes with dark meat was really tasty & flavourful broth, Chicken Pad thai was good as well decent amount . Thai tea & Vietnamese Cold Coffee was a bit pricey but worth it so do try. Overall had good experience.

We ordered the Khao Soi chicken (H5) and the saki yuki glass noodle (H6) and they were both very delicious! The Khao Soi chicken noodle was rich with hints of coconut and the saki yuki glass noodle had a very appetizing soup with a bit of tanginess. I liked how there was soft egg noodles in the Khao Soi but they left some crispy ones out of the soup so you can have them like chips 😁 We appreciate the family owned business, they take pride in their work, especially the husband and chef that creates these incredible dishes. We always have a good time there.

I felt like I was back in Vietnam and Northern Thailand eating delicious street food. The owners are lovely and the food is excellent. Ask for their homemade chili sauce. I loved it so much I bought a container to take home. I will definitely go back as there's so much more I want to try.

Fresh food. I like the restaurant, nice furnitures and lighting. When i am craving for Pho this is where I can go. Pho was great and thai green Tea. The owner said they also serve Thai food, she was from Thailand, so it will be authentic Thai food.

Delicious pho, the broth is rich and deep in flavour. The lemongrass pork is seasoned perfectly. The portion sizes are very generous. The friendly staff are very accommodating and brought our food out quickly. Definitely worth a visit.

Our new favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Toronto. Been there four times in three weeks and every time the food has been terrific and service great. Healthy size portions and good price. The spicy pork rib soup is especially good!

A family owned Viet Thai restaurant. The boss Van and his wife Pam know exactly what they’re doing. Extremely good Vietnamese and Thai food. Special dessert also available to order. Five stars to this restaurant is really underrated. I’ll give this restaurant 10/5. If I don’t live super far now from Viet Thai Kitchen, I will come at least three times a week just like before.

Large portions and fresh phô bowls, reasonable prices, good flavours and combos - however not too thrilled on the mandatory 13% tip though. Careful with that Viet Thai - that can backfire

soso... doesnt worth 4.6 rating.. food was soso, the beef was so thin and had hard tendon and bone.. horrible viet.. but my other coworker said it was ok. oh, we all agreed that the portion was small for its price.
