We love this little gem in orillia. We always get a warm welcome and now know us by name! Always accommodating and so friendly. The cutest baby shop, even better service! It’s so nice having somewhere local to find quality kids clothes!

Wonderful Staff! The owner is lovely and knowledgeable and so friendly. I went in before I even had my baby and she was open and welcoming. Not to mention the beautiful products, many are Canadian Labels which is a huge plus. The clothes are beautiful and not your typical “baby” style. Very fashion forward and timeless. A beautiful local Orillia business!

This is the CUTEST baby store, and Orillia in my opinion, really needed one!! They sell the sweetest, high quality baby, toddler and even mom pick-me-up things like Smash Tess rompers, candles, stylish hairbands, etc! I am IN LOVE with the baby brands of clothing, many of which are locally made. Oh, and this is the only store in town that sells the soothers my baby will take - BIBS - and there is the biggest selection of colours and cute designs I have EVER seen! Best of all, the owner is the friendliest, most caring and helpful person! I always feel comfortable asking her for help, or asking for her advice on something. Walking into her store and having a chat with her is honestly like meeting up for coffee with an old friend :) Take all my money December Sun…you’ve got me hooked!

This store has quickly become my favourite for unique baby items and the cutest clothing options for my little one. The store owner is always the most welcoming and so friendly, not to mention also so quick to respond to any product questions I have online! We are so happy to have December Sun as a local shop!

The cutest baby boutique! Very reasonably priced clothing and baby items. Definitely a gem of a shop in Orillia. Great place to shop for baby showers. They also carry the cutest matching mom/dad and babe hats and swim suits. Genuine customer service. You walk away feeling good supporting this shop ♥️

SO happy this sweet little shop opened up in Orillia. Such a beautiful retail space and we love the selection of Canadian brand baby items. The staff here were so kind and welcoming to my daughter and I. The owner got onto the floor to play with my daughter while I shopped. When I mentioned I was new to the area the staff were so kind and took time to share local hot spots with me. I also ordered something via Instagram and she was kind enough to hold on to it for me until I was able to make it in— very accommodating. Cute store. Cute items. Great staff. I will be a long-time customer!!

This place is nothing short of a gem. Kara is amazing, and every piece in the store is special, chosen with love; and supports other small businesses. I love having this special place in our small town. Everything from beautiful and high quality clothing, to toys, and feeding accessories, can be found here. Best place for gifts, special things for your own littles, and even great conversation. Love this place!

The cutest little baby store ever! They carry a variety of brands we love and we ALWAYS find something new to love every time we go! The staff are super attentive and helpful, you can tell they genuinely care about their customers and their babies. 10/10 recommend this place!

I was in here on the weekend and I witnessed two people harassing the poor store owner. From my understanding they had spilled ice cream on clothes that they had purchased there, took them home, washed them and then brought them back and demanded a refund. The store owner politely tried to explain that she couldn’t do that and she would never feel comfortable reselling clothing that way. The customers then turned to me and asked if I agreed and I stated that no store would return washed clothes without tags. However, they would not take no for an answer and continued to harass the poor lady, who continued to remain professional and kind. It speaks to the exceptional customer service that is offered at this store. All of the clothes were also really adorable and made of decadent fabrics!

The very best children’s store in Orillia. A very nice variety of clothing, toys and accessories for babies, toddlers and more. Great quality merchandise with a big emphasis on local vendors. I’ve bought lots of great items for my niece and nephew that they really enjoy!

Kara has built such a wonderful business for kids clothing in Orillia. I love that many brands she has are Canadian. She is always so welcoming and makes you feel like family when you walk in. She is amazing and I highly recommend her store

This is such an amazing store! We drove up to Orillia from Barrie to get some items. She brings in the most beautiful baby brands that you honestly can’t find anywhere else locally. We shopped for awhile going through all that she had and her mom was running the store that day and was so friendly! She held our babies while we looked around, she made us feel so welcomed and we are so obsessed with everything December Sun Carries. We wish we could go everyday!

Just the perfect touch to downtown Orillia! So nice to have this store to pick up a gift for a new baby or a perfect fall outfit for family photos or Christmas Jammies! There is always so much to choose from and the selection is always top notch!

I adore this store. The owner takes such care picking out high quality pieces from so many Canadian made and small brands. Love to shop for special pieces for the kids here.

I came across December Sun on Instagram last year and have been a huge fan since. I live in Toronto so I’ve never been in person but have been able to shop off Instagram. Kara is very sweet and kind and so accommodating. I highly recommend supporting this small shop and hope to make it there in person one day!
