Quite disappointed this time. Was a really good Szechuan style restaurants before. Order a seafood rice cracker but is a totally disaster. Rice cracker suppose be crsipy but reality is, whole rice cracker is drawn in the sauce and super soft. BBQ fish is quite disappointed as well. Before really good and warm with fire. This time is like in the middle of oil and warm with coal. The other is fine.

Ordered dry mala pot for dinner and it was delicious! Approximately 30mins waiting time on a Sunday (24/4) night. The restaurant seemed to be short staffed as there were many tables uncleared but kudos to the 2 staffs working at the front for giving the best customer service!

Authentic chinese food. Must visit if you like spicy food. Go with mild spiciness level for all the dishes you order if this is your first visit. The spicy garlic paste pork was amazing, however it left a heavy garlicky after taste in my mouth for a long time. Other than that, fried long beans and spicy chili deep fried chicken were great too.

We went to the restaurant for my auntie’s birthday, and it was the worst dine-in experience that I’ve had in Perth. Terrible customer service, one of the waiters almost touched our food by her finger when she served the dish ( her nails touched the edge of the meat). She rolled her eyes and talked back to us, acted like there’s nothing wrong with it when we tried to remind her. And the food was worse, it just too salty to eat.

Good variety with unique characteristic Sichuan food. The dishes are reasonable priced with decent portions.

Picture this: it's a cold rainy winter day and your tongue is feeling a tad bit frisky... Yep, exactly, it's time for hot green tea and a dash of 🌶. The food is brilliant at red chilli, especially if you sorted out your favorites. May I highly recommend the red chilli fish special #35. So good!!!

We visited this restaurant on Australian Day. Not a busy day, but it turned out to be a dramatic day. There are 14 of us, so we needed a big table. Initially, the staff told us that the table outside was the biggest they could offer, and given that one of us has been here a couple of times so, knowing that they were not faithful to the customers. Until we approached the manager, the staff, for some reason, refused to acknowledge to the manager that she told us there was a no larger table and bluntly claimed that we did not want the larger table. What a joke! After the incident and some conversation with the manager, their attitude changed completely, which surprised me with how dramatic this was. In the end, we were charged 15 surcharges service fee due to the public holidays. We spent $500, and the staff told us if we wanted to move the table, we would carry the cutlery and plate by ourselves. The food is okay but not so clean, and the presentation needs to improve. Customer service is 3 out of 10, 3 for the manager.

Used to be good. Not only is it bad Sichuan food it's regrettable Chinese food too. Don't bother. Note: all the good reviews are from years ago....when it was good.

If you love spicy food, you’d love this restaurant! This is probably one of the best sichuan restaurants in Perth with great spicy food. The staff were extremely friendly and this standard has been set every since we came here for the first time.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Red Chilli Sichuan restaurant in Perth for the second time, and it once again left me impressed. Here's a breakdown of my experience at this authentic Chinese Sichuan gem. Firstly, the prices at this restaurant are reasonable, making it an accessible option for those seeking genuine Sichuan dishes in the Northbridge area of Perth. The flavors offered here are an absolute treat, representing the essence of Sichuan cuisine beautifully. Red Chilli Sichuan Restaurant provides a wide selection of Asian Chinese dining options, catering to various preferences. Whether you're an avid fan of Chinese cuisine or simply curious to explore, this restaurant has plenty to offer. Every single dish I ordered was a testament to their commitment to freshness and taste. Each bite was a delightful experience, confirming the skillful execution of their culinary creations. The service at this restaurant was exceptional, with polite, friendly, and attentive staff. While most of the staff members are Chinese, they are well-versed in both Chinese and English, making communication convenient for guests. The restaurant boasts a cozy ambiance, complemented by traditional Chinese interior decor. It truly creates an immersive environment, transporting you to the heart of Chinese dining culture. Although all the dishes impressed me, my favorite standout was their butterfly prawns. The succulent prawns were a true highlight, bursting with flavors. Additionally, I highly recommend trying their Sour Spicy Fish soup and century egg (i’m not a fan of century egg for your info) for a tantalizing blend of tanginess and spice. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Red Chilli Sichuan restaurant to anyone in Western Australia in search of tasty, authentic Sichuan food. From reasonable prices and genuine flavors to polite service and a cozy ambience, this restaurant offers a delightful experience. Whether you're a seasoned lover of Sichuan cuisine or simply seeking a flavorful adventure, Red Chilli Sichuan Restaurant is a must-visit destination when you are staying around this area.

Decor looks authentic except for the brick work looking wallpaper. Ordered prawns with eggplant, mapo tofu and chilli cabbage. Food took more than 20 minutes to come out and there were only 10 other customers in the restaurant. The tofu was bitter and lacked taste. The other two dishes were good. Overall a little disappointing considering our 3 dishes with steamed rice cost A$84.

I cannot eat spicy food so my friend ordered non-spicy dishes and they were all delicious. My favourite was fried rice and fried corncob with shrimp and salted yolk egg (such a long name!). The black jelly bean sweet soup was also top notch, not too sweat, there were these little flakes that added a bit of sourness to the soup which elevated its flavour, and the jiggly jelly was served in generous portions as well. The stired fried cabbage with sauce was also tasty and so yummy. The only dish i could not eat was seasoned fried pork and veggies as it was too spicy for me. Another point is Kung Bao Ji Ding was not ready when we ordered but the resto did not inform us, instead they served us another dish, bao with pork meat, to me i did not really appreciate this though.

Good selection of non-spicy food for a Sichuan restaurant. Red chilli hock ham is fragrant, tender, and balanced. The chilli oil is on the side and it tastes great even without it. Fuqi beef combo is pretty good too. The deep fried duck is indeed crispy outside and tender inside. Could have a bit less salt, though. Chewy rice cakes are not too sweet but I'd prefer it to be a bit more crispy.

Scored an easy Street Park. Authentic Sichuan Chinese restaurant with a large menu & full service bar. Fried rice with egg is flavourful without being overpowering and perfectly compliments the spicy meal. retrieve the chili garlic sliced pork which was delicious with the chinking vinegar, rice wine, a dash of the numbing mala, and spice. The school of fried prawns with chilli was an excellent crowd pleaser. The coriander stir fry beef was also very good. Iodine the service was excellent. The waitress was very attentive. Toilets could do with some improvement. Great Chinese tea.

Great place. Very thoughtful and attentive female manager. Food was excellent, fresh, hot, fast and very reasonable in cost. Will go out of their way to meet your requirements. Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant I was really surprised it was not full when we went there.

I was here with my partner on Wednesday night and we both enjoyed it tremendously. Each dish was superb and the service was exceptionally good, particularly the lady who waited on us. I would definitely give this restaurant my highest recommendation.

We ordered chili fish, chili chicken, fried buns and some cold noodles. The Sichuan chili chicken is a must have. We liked it so much that we ordered the second portion! Food came out very quickly and the waitresses were very attentive.

Excellent dishes. Beautiful flavours and generous servings! Language barrier can be a issue. A smile to your customer won't hurt either.
