PARK BETWEEN James Street . I'f you know Perth... you would understand that this park is not a safe place to be at night . please be cautious. beautiful trees and over 150 years of history

Nice park in Northbridge. There is plenty of grassy areas to run around or picnic in. There is also a rotunda for shade. Just ended up walking through it but the park did look quite nice and peaceful.

Jacaranda in mid November. Good to have a hut for resting in the middle.

Enjoying the shows at Fringe Festival but not the toilets as they need improvement. They are dirty and don't like the unisex part as the men or boys just wet the floor. Also these public toilets are too tall for those who have short legs!

The legendary "b.o.o.n.g" park that is full of interesting local wildlife, made famous due to the Western Australian national anthem "Out Da Front". I would recommend any visitors to bring a bag of ciggy with them so they can feed it to the local wildlife! Just don't touch the wild animals and make sure to always travel in group!

The square turns into a "Pleasure Garden" for the Fringe festival between end of Jan and end of Feb. Best place to spend your evenings ever

Came here for the fringe festival, huge and crowded as usual. It's normally a huge empty park where people hang around and do picnics. Not bad of a venue , just across the carpark and public toilets and restaurants for the afterparty.

This is for the fringe festival. It’s the whole square at the moment. Plenty of seats and shade but food vendors are scattered all over the place. The food we bought was $40 and honestly not worth it. But since we came to fringe for shows it’s irrelevant. Better options outside by miles.

I didn't measure the angles but I tend to take squares at face value nowadays. I mean, why would they be lying about 90 degree corners and parallel sides? Too much hassle otherwise, not to mention risky, claiming square heritage and whatnot without it being fully traceable

Great parks for events I visited during the Fringe Festival where there were many stalls for food and entertainment wouldn't recommend for children but when there's an event on can't be beat

I was there for Fringe when it transforms into the Pleasure Garden. A great festival location with food, drinks and entertainment for everyone. With the Fringe booking office there it's the perfect meeting place and spot to get last minute show tickets.

Just another park in Northbridge where you need to watch your back all up it just fits well into Perth CBD which is a hole of place to go to if you have to run jobs or the like .

Pretty ok during the day and nice to chill and read a book or so. But don't go here after the sun sets. It is a very scary place at night with weird people hanging around and often police cars parked in the park.

The park is fairly well maintained. The trees and grass are well kept. There is ample seating and bins to place rubbish. However, the central water/gazebo feature is in dire need of a clean and repair. The water in the different sections is mouldy and full of rubbish. At one point it may have been a working water feature because there is reticulation visible. But at the moment the water is green, slimy and smelly.
