The service, food, and cost are just as stunning as the sunset view. My only disappointment is that I had to leave Kansas City to have the best filet I’ve ever tasted. The service is impeccable. If you’re on the island for vacation and want a romantic dinner, this is the place.

We had a wonderful dinner there. It started when we were greeted warmly upon arrival and seated against the rail to appreciate the view and the sound of the surf. Our server, Laura, was just lovely and made recommendations on the menu and their special drinks. The service was extremely attentive but not ever rushed. It’s such a romantic spot. We decided to come early to try to catch the sunset. We ordered for small plates which was absolutely more than enough food if we wanted to try all those things and every single one of them was delicious. I will look forward to returning.

Absolutely Amazing. The food was delicious. We had the special which was lobster, scallops and shrimp over risotto. The best I have ever had. We also had the Cruzan Rum Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding which was delicious. Service was great. We got a table on the grotto area right by the ocean and waves. The view/sunset was gorgeous. I wish I went to this restaurant earlier in my vacation as I would have gone several times.

Finally had the chance to have dinner at sunset at AMA at Cane Bay down by the ocean. Bucket list ✔️Seriously the most romantic dinner we’ve ever had at a restaurant. The location is spectacular. The food was delicious and the drinks were on point! The service went above and beyond. Thank you 😊

Exceptional service, amazing seaside views, and awesome food! What else could you ask for in a tropical paradise restaurant? All of the dishes were very unique and had a little Caribbean twist! I hope I am lucky enough to revisit this awesome restaurant in the future! I would just make sure you make reservations and stay up to date with the weather in the area. When we were finished they had live music playing at an outside bar that is connected to the restaurant for some after dinner drinks!

Wonderfully beautiful atmosphere the service was wonderful, food fabulous . We were seated on the seawall. Perfect, for a special meal on the island on the island. For a romantic meal for two get reservations and ask to sit right down on the wall by waters edge.

Ama is always a must visit when we are on island. If you can get an ocean side table for the sunset it is beautiful. This visit we had the smoked Caesar salad to as a shared appetizer and it was great, the flavor and the crunch of the tobacco onions was perfect. For dinner the crusted mahi and the crispy salmon were both cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The Cruzan bread pudding for dessert was the perfect way to end a great meal. Service was great and the atmosphere can’t be beat! Will continue to return here for a meal every time we are on island.

Went diving in St Croix for our 22 anniversary and SO HAPPY we found AMA! First: Location, Location, Location! This was off the charts...Second the Staff: Laura was our waitress, but the bartender, chef, host (wish I could remember names)...Everyone was so gracious and just the right amount of attentiveness to make sure we didn't want for anything, but no hovering. Third: THE FOOD! Shazam...tasty tasty tasty. The mushroom salad, tuna tartar and the cauliflower soup (makes my mouth water just thinking about it). We had a fabulous time and cant thank the team enough - Thanks for a great experience. (PS we made reservations early 1/2 hour before sunset and went "upstairs" for a cocktail after dark - it was perfect)

A truly wonderful dining experience. It's safe to say the big draw of AMA is the venue, it is an absolutely stunning location for dinner. Our server/bartender Michelle was incredible as well, and had helpful tips about things to do around the island. The drinks were cleverly crafted and the food was prepared beautifully. We didn't realize until we were dining at AMA that they also have a boutique hotel in this location, and we want to come back to St Croix just to stay in these beautiful rooms (Waves at Cane Bay).

We were lucky enough to stumble upon this gem. It is definitely the date night waterside dinner experience you are looking for. Nick was at the bar and taking good care of us. Excellent craft cocktails, delicious food that had been beautifully prepared, and incredible ambiance. We were there on a particularly windy night, so the bottom deck was closed. The place was cheering when waves got big enough to lightly spray a few of the tables. We saw an incredible sunset while we were eating. It was a perfect experience.

We went here yesterday and today and I definitely found things that I would not order again, as well as things I will be dreaming about for eternity 😂 We highly recommend the crab soufflé, the steak, and the vegetable cacio e pepe!! Also, the lemongrass coconut berry desert they have on special right now. Is incredible!! Let’s put it this way - I told my husband I wanted to take an extra soufflé and dessert home to eat off him later. 😂😂😂😂 Highly recommend you taste the whole menu because there will be something you love! Pictures also includes prawns & pork belly (my husband loved) The mahi (flavor was incredible)

I'd probably rate this one as a 3.5 if Google let me. A little hard to find going around the back of the hotel and down some outdoor stairs. Bathrooms are upstairs by the hotel bar so don't come here if you need any kind of handicap accessibility. Whole place is outdoors with a roof over part of it. Great view for miles. Drinks fair but added some unexpected flavors that did not make them better. Food not nearly as good as expected by other reviews and only average. No fresh fish when we went so they substituted local fish of the day with Canadian salmon. Weird that they couldn't get local fish since they are on an island and weather was great so couldn't have prevented the fishing boats from going out. Wait staff was OK but nothing special. Other than the view, a totally ehh experience.

Beautiful location and the facilities are well maintained. Absolutely luxury. The service is also high class and providing a wonderful experience. The cocktails and appetizers/small plates were delicious. Sadly none of our mains were measuring up to the outstandingly deli starters. Definitely worth for an evening of cocktails and appetizers by the shore.

You can't get any closer to the water than this. The restaurant is in a superb location with phenomenal views. We had the lobster fettuccine which had a reasonable portion of lobster, but the sauce was very thin and runny and most of it remained in the bottom of the bowl. It would be nice if it was thicker and actually adhered to the pasta. Other than that everybody was friendly and service was good.

Food options where limited, Which we understood. But the service wasn’t great. We ordered mojitos they came out with a huge piece of mint on top, but not muddled and I think they forgot to put alcohol in them. When we asked about it he said “ I think I doubled it” … On to the shrimp ceviche which had zero lime juice in it and tasted like plain shrimp and apparently they ran out of crackers because the other two orders at the table had the same crackers but mine had different types of crackers, in fact 1 was a cookie! We also saw the same gentleman deliver the rest of our food to the bar and shrug. We had him remove these items from our bill as we did not receive them.

Both my wife and I ordered the almond crusted mahi. It was edible, but not as good as the egg McMuffin I had yesterday. It was bland and not salty enough. The crab dip was good. I thought the beer list was weak and there were no beers on tap. Service was a little slow. The atmosphere was very nice. As was the music. Nice place to hear the waves and watch the sunset. It was only memorable by the atmosphere, music and high bill for the bland food. I would not go again.

Atmosphere is over the top. We sat up one level from open deck due to the tides. To be honest, the appetizers while good, were a bit underwhelmin regarding flavor. Main courses were fantastic! Cocktails were awesome, and our waiter (E.J. ?) Was extremely attentive. Wine selection was solid to boot! Highly recommend having an early dinner for a daylight to moonlight transition view!

Stunning sunset views. We arrived early for our reservation and had the most amazing view of the bay. There are around 10 stairs down to the eating area, but the stairwell has a handrail for assistance. You are right above the water. The lower level was awash with water when the waves came to shore. Table favorites for their starters were the roasted brussel sprouts (even the kids liked them) and the slow roasted pork belly & spiced prawns. Dinner favorites were the lobster fettuccine (lobster was cooked perfectly 👌 and there was not too much sauce) and almond crusted mahi (the almond crust added to the flavor and the coconut rice was decadent).

One of the finer and more satisfying dining experiences I've had in a while. They offer a small main dining selection but excel at everything they offer. The service was warm and professional. Sherry gave us excellent suggestions and service. And I challenge you to find view and atmosphere anywhere in the Caribbean as you will find here. The music was a perfect compliment to the amazing sunset show Mother Nature provided this evening.

Wow!! The meal started with the best mussels ever and ended with bliss! Try the filet! It is worth it! Best service and meal on the island.

Really great staff, friendly and helpful. I had their steak and key lime pie and both were very tasty. The food and service were solidly good, but honestly the atmosphere is the shining star. Eating basically on a cliff over the ocean is just lovely, I would recommend making a reservation just before sunset for the full effect.

Great experience and a must for anyone visiting the island. Service was VERY good , most restaurants on the island have what I'll call .... Island time service; meaning it may 15-20 min just to get you a water/drink! BUT NOT this place. Everything was extremely professional and presented on time. It is on the pricey side but worth it. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because they should have more local food. While Wagyu steak is great I would rather have seen more (LOCALLY SOURCED) fish, chicken, pork cooked in traditional island ways. If you want Wagyu go to NYC, Chicago...I came to the island for island food.
