Usually the staff are helpful. But due to the service I received last time, I was put off going there again. The person tried to sell me a defective product in exchange for returning a product with the same defect. I had to point out the defect to them again. The person was rude, inconsiderate of time, and ill-trained.

It look so clean and tidy😁 easy to move around. You could see everything. Which I found so refreshing. I bought some bright coloured wool I hadn't seen anywhere else for a mitre square blanket. The staff were nice and helpful

Usually find all my basic sewing needs covered. Not a great variety of fabrics but there’s several shops in Fitzroy/Collingwood. Otherwise, very well stocked for small things like zippers, threads, yarns, etc. Even found a self gift for Mother’s Day: a sheep knitting bowl!

🧶🎨 Hands down this is one of the best places in the CBD for almost all of your art, craft and upholstery needs. I've been a regular customer of this store for some time and I couldn't be happier. Located conveniently on Bourke St, this store offers an amazing array of items ranging from toys for different age groups of kids to more advanced crafts, cloth pieces for garments, curtains, and so much more! The kind staff are always around to help with finding items or clearing about the pricing. There's almost something for everyone here! They also offer a membership, which is free for the basic version. Regular discount sales like the current 40% sale is such a great snatch! I love this store, and wish it all the best for years to come!

I've noticed recently that there is less to choose from and finding things instore is difficult. Never anyone available to ask, as they are serving customers at the counter.

I can empathise with retail workers wanting to close at the advertised time, but to racially abuse and discriminate someone is so low. Watched who I believe is the store manager scream at a man with less developed English knowledge to get out of the store, however, he was just trying to find out how to exit the store as the same worker had just locked the door. This is not okay and this worker should spend some time reflecting on how they speak to people, especially when they are the one who has read the situation wrong. Aggression towards people is never the case. Perhaps a customer facing role is not suited to you. 26/10 - 6:00pm

Greeted as you decend on the escalator, with a "Hello", a lovely addition to city shopping. Always got good specials. If they don't have it, they get it in for you. Staff provide good service and are well mannered. My material...35% off.

Found what I was looking for...but was not ready to invest in more craft gear that I may not use. I will have to return when I am certain about my project going ahead.

The staff wear pins on their uniform, openly supporting Hamas. So insensitive and offensive to many people. I hope Lincraft doesn’t stand for this.

Fantastic place to shop. They had the wool I've been trying to find for toys I'm knitting. The selection of beautiful Christmas decorations was fantastic too

It's a relatively small store but staff were lovely when I picked up an item I had put aside. When I rang to put item aside I was immediately put on hold and left on hold for 20 minutes. I was just about to hang up when they returned. Understanding it's a small store that it might get busy but 20m is too long to leave a customer on hold, even at Christmas time

Lincraft have changed in the many years I have been shopping there. The products are in poor taste. I buy plain solids (fabric) and plastic pellets doll stuffing. There is no top of the line yarn. On occasion there is baby wool, however most of their yarn is acrylic. The haberdashery line, I am not a fan of. I have no clue who does their buying, I do know though, that the buyer has no idea.

We have just gone to do our Christmas shopping my partner who is 80 asked to use the toilet, she was told we don't have for the public, we left and went to Myer they were very helpful. We are doing our shopping else were they dont need our surport...

They have a lot of art and craft related items, it's an easy store to navigate and the baskets are pretty handy if you need to buy a lot of items. Despite its location, it doesn't get very busy and the prices aren't too bad.

Lincraft caters to all sewing and needlework needs, with The most enterprising and comprehensive range, leaving nothing to the imagination, including linen needs taken into account. All at affordable prices. A definite stop first!

OK for emergencies, but doesn't carry enough useful stock for it to be my go-to store.

Such a small selection of fabrics was very disappointed.

Very good store for all things arts and craft. My only complaint is that I was scammed, but partially due to my own negligence. There was a hole in the plastic and things fell out before I got to the checkout but I was still charged for the empty item. I can only hope that the cashier was unaware and it was just an unfortunate accident.

The City store needs to showcase the best. This does not, it falls short. I have been in this store many times. It looks tired, at times neglected with not much variation of stock. No staff to ask for assistance. There is not much inspiration of ideas, someone wanted create something and needed materials. There no inspiration here. They should try and poach people from Spotlight to breathe light into Lincraft. I have been to Spotlight stores, lincraft does not come anywhere near Spotlight. We need a Spotlight in the City

Love the great range at this Lincraft, especially for knitters there is so much yarn and QR codes that you can scan to read a pattern, great inspo around the store as well!
