Spotlight is good place for shopping home decors & accessories, Curtains & Blinds and craft accessories in general. However, it's even better for Party related decors and accessories with an excellent range. This place helps improve your home interiors and put a smile on your face, even a bigger smile when the special sales are on. The Hoppers crossing store is a bit confusing to navigate through, not sure if it's to do with the place or spotlight's preference to structure it that way as Hoppers is not alone in this if you see other spotlight stores too (example: Spotlight Burnside). On the downside: 1. Spotlight stores accept Afterpay for online orders but strangely, in-store purchases are not offered with Afterpay. 2. Stores are at times severely understaffed with any attempt to seek some support or clarification and could end up with a wait of 5 or more minutes.

Wednesday l went to Spotlight in Werribee to purchase a pair of Harry Potter glasses for my boy who has book week coming up, and was served by a lady named Dot, who was extremely kind & very helpful. Thank you so much for your great service Dot, much appreciated.

Rating a 1 star because unfortunately cannot choose zero stars. 2 of the worst customer service workers on the front desk you could ever deal with. Didn’t get their names, probably Karen! Was in the store this afternoon to return a product I had simply purchased 1 too many of. Had lost my receipt, but purchase was on my account which staff could clearly see. Refused to give me a refund because I didn’t have my paper receipt!! They printed out a copy of my receipt, and I kept stressing they had the proof, so should simply honour my request. Asked to speak with the manager. Only prepared to put money on a gift card. Finally agreed to give me a refund. As I mentioned, exceptional customer service for the paying customer!!

I had a great shopping experience with one of the staff members from the dress fabric department, I think her name was Emma. She was extremely proficient and asked me helpful questions to make sure I got the right measurements for my outfit. Throughout that entire time I was on a phone call and Emma went out of her way to make accommodate that, which let me multitask what I needed to do. Customer service was more than a 10.

Store is super clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. But a huge shout out to Mikayla, she is truly polite and kind, made my friend and I feel welcome and we left the store happy ( although our bank accounts were not) Truly a great employee and deserves recognition.

Spotlight is the perfect place for a hobbyist. It has arts, crafts, party stuff, tailoring and sewing, kitchen accessories and so much more.

had a lady go in and out of their storage back area near the wool section, thought shes on a mission so i didnt bother her going in but when she came out i asked her if she is able to give me a hand, blonde lady probably in her mid 40s looks at me, raises her eyebrows and points at her clothes (wearing all black head to toe) asks me if she looks like shes in uniform, turns and walks off… a few moments later isles away she yells over at me and says ‘if you want assistance go to arts and crafts’. i understand not being on shift but your representing your company walking in and out of staff only areas, theres better ways to speak to people. walked out cos i completely got the ick. doesnt take much to be kind and speak to people with courtesy.

Always a great place to shop. I was looking for cake decorating items. Woolworths and Coles didn't have the ones I wanted, but Spotlight has an extensive range. Got what I needed.

Knows their products well and measurement estimations were very good to accommodate me with the desire length of materials. Will visit again very soon

This is a good place to get many home decorating, craft, homewares and bed linen. Staff are friendly and helpful but very busy most of the time. They have a great range of products and materials for all home purposes.

Love having a spotlight nearby. Usually has what you want in stock, But store is usually messy with items and box's left on the floor Huge parking lot available

I came here to buy Rain Ponchos which are a great price compared to other options. The prices in my opinion and budget are higher than I personally can afford however others may find it very affordable. I received terrible customer service about a year ago therefore did not go back for that period and got my party supplies elsewhere. It's a nice place to browse for crafts and party items and it is relaxing as it's generally very quiet.

Lets be honest, the actual spotlight business management (the people sitting in that big office are trash and have no idea what actually occurs in store) but this place has all the crafty things you could think of. Depending on the staff member you get will depend on the service you recieve, pretty good in terms of stocking. Love their clearance bench scattered around, always find a good buy, just be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes to pay for your items as they are not efficient in processes.

The first time I came into this store I wasn’t too impressed with the customer service in the dress fabric department but today around 11:15pm I was in there and there were different staff to original lady I first encountered. The girls who were working at the dress fabric counter were amazing. Really friendly, nice and helpful - was served on reg by Samantha with another girl helping her.

The staff are always nice and the range is great, but prices have gone up well beyond common sense in the last few years. $25/m for fabric that might've been $5/m a few years ago. If I desperately need something I'll drop in for the convenience, otherwise it's off to the Alibaba app! Big ups to the fabric staff though, who always go above and beyond to help. Lovely bunch.

The staff must improve its arrangements, It is almost always disorganised with everything everywhere on the shelves, packets opened lying around, boxes of inventory scattered. I can appreciate staff constantly having to place things back. But the store looks more like a warehouse than a well organised store. Staff are lovely nevertheless and very helpful, if you can find them!!

Don’t shop here or if you do don’t ever give them your phone number (even if you ask them to never use it to advertise promotions), or they will harass you with unsolicited texts every time there is a sale even if you text back “STOP” every time. This is an illegal use of private and personal detail without your authorisation. Do not trust these guys or girls.

Went to pick up my click and collect and had a quick look around the store, not one staff member smiled or looked approachable, if working in customer service isn’t you get another job. I was wrongly advised on the phone says on website curb side click and collect it’s not, I felt like I was a nuisance picking up my parcel. Pick up your game.

Excellent range of clear refillable baubles, 50% off Jolly & Joy branded baubles 6cm, 8cms, 12cms, 15cms, from $4-$6. Truly inexpensive way to display other craft projects, I.e.table arrangements, shell art, dried flowers, baby mobiles. I tested out my ideas put baby's breath dried flowers and small shells in 8cms bauble. Happy with the look, will use for separate projects.

This store is good except lot of rush even in weekdays evening mainly on thursdays and fridays. The customer helpdesk staff at billing desk are always friendly, polite and they do needful on handling returns as well instore product queries.

Large store with plenty of produce. I went in specifically for a valance so didn't really explore the whole store. Couldn't find what I wanted and had to ask and the staff member knew exactly where they were. 50% off, so a good price. And unlike other Spotlight stores I have visited, no queue to pay!

Good sized store, helpful staff. I found it easy to make a return from an online purchase and staff helped me find items I was looking for in store. I've had an issue with the quality of the sheets here (fitted sheets coming apart at the seams) but some brands aren't as good as others even when they are on sale / good thread count etc. Overall a good well stocked store
