A “chapadão” means “plateau” in Porgutuese. Chapadão is a lookout located on a huge reddish cliff from where you can enjoy the view of Praia do Amor about 100 feet below. I actually saw a courageous couple climbing down the very steep cliff, but that’s not for me. It is must-see if you’re in the area. The photos that you will take there will be amazing: the beautiful panoramic view of the beaches, the contrast of the colors of the blue sea and red cliffs will leave anyone awestruck.

Beautiful scenic location to look down to Praia do Madeiro and Praia do Amor. Worth a short visit!

Cool place with a very nice view. Unfortunately the descent to the beach is very steep, without a buggy or car it is difficult to get around.

Love this place! Went 3 times while I was living in Natal! The beach is beautiful, but more than that, the energy is electric. So luch fun!
