Great food and value. Next time I think I'll have them add a bit more heat but certainly no complaints. And there will definitely be a next time..

Food was really good with everything what we ordered. We enjoyed it a lot and it was one of the best mexican food we have eaten in Minnesota. There was not much waiting time and chips and salsa was served until food arrived. Interior is also cozy and has nice paintings, one of them really funny of a dancing couple. 😀😀

The salsa was so taste. The meal was great. Some of the best I've had. If in the area don't be afraid to stop in. The staff was polite and quick service.

Visited because of recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed! Entire staff was welcoming, friendly & efficient. The food was great. There were 4 in our party & we were all impressed with the food. The raspberry margaritas were wonderful. We will definitely return.

Wow. Was recommended by the reception lade at American Inn. The servings were huge, and reasonably priced. I got vegetable fajitas, and Dad got cheese enchiladas. We both commented the next morning on how well we slept with such a great filling meal in our stomachs. Just a welcomed short walk after driving all day. And just a few minutes walk from a trail by a beautiful river if you choose a picnic. Eat here! Highly recommended! Great beer and margaritas selection

Have you ever been seated in a restaurant and quickly realize you're in the wrong section? Time has stopped here. There's a lack of genuine joy in your being there as a customer, and you're treated more as a bother. Whereas on the other side of the restaurant, there's good natured banter between the staff and the customers. I ordered the Pollo Loco. As you can see it was a bright plate, and that was about it. The guacamole was the best thing on the plate. The very thin piece of chicken sadly had little flavor. Maybe it just wasn't their night? I'll try again next time, and hope for a better dining experience.

We came here for lunch and the service was friendly and excellent. The food was good. Above all, the meats were well seasoned and well cooked so the food was good. I docked a star because their salsa isn't traditional salsa, more of like a seasoned tomato sauce, and I felt like some of the sides (rice, beans) could have been better. Would have loved some pico de Gallo with the fajitas. Again, good food, just the sides/condiments weren't my favorite. Would eat here again.

A present surprise. I went to Northfield to watch my grandson playing for Carleton College. After the game, 6 of us went to dinner at El Tequila. It was new to me, and it's a bland storefront restaurant. But the food was excellent and plentiful at a fair price. We were stuffed including the 3 twenty something 6' + athletes, for under $90. Boy can they eat.

The food is fine and the service is good, very good menu selection and you can tell the food is fresh. For the price it is good, its. not life changing Mexican but when your craving something its a great place to go.

Not Mexican food you would get if you were in Mexico but more Americanized, which was what I was going for. Very cute spot. I've been here several times. I wish we could drum up a little more business for them. I was there at about 2pm to eat and stayed until almost 4pm as I had some work I wanted to get done. There was one diner and one takeout the entire time. The service is great and the food is fresh and hot. My favorite is the beef Chimi. C'mon folks! Let's help these guys out! They made it through COVID, let's keep them alive! K... I said my peace.

The parillada was delicious. Best thing I've had at a Mexican restaurant. The peppers and onions had great flavor. A big portion that my guy and me split. Service was great.

I have never been more impressed and satisfied before. I ordered 2 tacos and a chimichanga which came with beans, rice, cheese, lettuce a sour cream and omg it was soooo delicious and so much!! I’ll have leftovers the entire week that I’m here for work. Very friendly service also!!! Highly recommend. It was actually the first restaurant that I was finally happy with. The Chinese restaurants were ick and Applebees was just Applebees.
