Whispers is hands down the best karaoke bar I've ever been to! The staff is amazing...Matt (the karaoke DJ) is so friendly, welcoming, & encouraging. The whole bar staff, Dena, Renee, Daniel etc..the security (Jay) are all top notch exceptional! The environment here is so eclectic & welcoming to absolute EVERYONE. As a member of the lgbtqia community, that is so appreciated. This place is seriously my favorite bar of all time! Come here ready for a chill dive bar experience with some of the best people around. You will not regret visiting Whispers!

Great spot for karaoke EVERY NIGHT!!!! Visited on an adventurous Monday and found great drinks at amazing prices, wonderful staff, and a great karaoke experience. Very welcoming atmosphere! One pool table available as well! The community is very welcoming apart from the occasional regular customer that drinks too much and is obnoxiously rambunctious for no apparent reason. Otherwise, AWESOME spot! Added Whispers to the list of karaoke spots! Great for a date night out, with a group of 4-8 friends, or by yourself at the bar.

Went to get a drink and watch some karaoke performances. The website advertises karaoke at 7 every night. Waited a while for it to start but left after I finished my first drink. The football game was on and it got uncomfortably loud a few times. Overall strange vibes compared to what I saw online before I went. My drink was fairly priced.

I'll never step foot in whispers again. I arrived before karaoke started signed up immediately and even tipped the guy. He didn't let me sing at all. I went up to speak with him and he was incredibly rude. And he was an awful singer to boot. Some advice Whispers. Drop the vj from last night he was awful.

This place is really cool and everyone is super nice. It gets packed on the weekends but don’t be nervous to stop in anyway! The staff does a great job making sure everyone is happy and taken-care-of. The regulars are very friendly. Get here early if you wanna get on the karaoke list though!

Not a great experience. Went there on my birthday, sat at the bar, and received no service for about 10 minutes. Despite the bartenders helping every new person that walks up. The karaoke guy Matt, is also kind of rude. What’s the point of going to a karaoke bar on your birthday if you have to wait hours to sing!? Do not recommend this place at all! Atleast not for a birthday!

Absolute JEWEL of Aurora/Denver. Diverse crowd of people from *all* walks of life having a great time together, incredible bartender team (and various KJs, each with their own style), and the owners as well make it clear they are building a community vibe here, people sing in multiple languages, welcoming to newcomers and new residents (I send my new move-ins at Revel Apartments here). Just come try it and you'll see. 👍

It's good all around place to go they do karaoke some nights, and it's a very diverse crowd and hip they play mostly hip-hop rap pop

Great small bar with a lovely karaoke KJ. One of the FIRST and only bars in Aurora that i did NOT first sip my drink and immediately thought it was half poured or watered down. Will definitely go again when drive back up to Denver area.

Always a good time for karaoke. Well organized, quality KJs, and regular bar. I maybe wish monitors were a little better, but as a certified karaoke snob, it's fine and people have always been nice to me there.

Really cool that they have karaoke everyday. You don't have to be a good singer, you'll be in good company, but be prepared for some pretty incredible singers too

Good little spot if you don't require anything fancy and like to do some karaoke. There seem to be lots of regulars, but most are friendly, and it's a good mix of everyone, which is always nice to see.

Love this place! Fun night out and the regulars are nice and welcoming along with the staff. Matt the hat has an amazing voice and is so nice. You will get hooked and keep coming back.

I was going to go here, but it appears they skim checks off the top for tips. Just saw at least 3 posts about this happening to different people. That is not a coincidence, it's a big problem! I will not go to an establishment where employees, managers or whomever is involved increases the tips on one's tab or up charge on drinks. I will not patronage an establishment that allows this activity to happen without ramifications.

This bar is pretty fun! No one will judge your singing AT ALL. I come here once in awhile to hang out alone and I appreciate all the bartenders who have been really helpful in making sure I get to my car without being harassed (because the men here tend to be aggressive flirters). The staff also treats you the way that you treat them, which you don't get very often in Denver in general (I.e: "This lady is behaving appropriately so I'll let her finish her drink during the last 10 minutes before we close without yelling at her"). They also treat everyone like family and they are really Really REALLY nice - I absolutely appreciate it every time and I hope that they are getting the acknowledgement they all deserve :)
