The food had clearly been out for a long time and tasted like it- steak tasted and smelled like old fish and the guac was brown. The menu said nachos cost $11.58 and yet we were charged over $13. When I asked about the daily entree specials, I was told those no longer exist and they do "taco Tuesday" now. The restaurant was disgusting despite my family being the only people in the building ordering food (others ended up in line behind us). Trash overflowing, tables sticky and covered in food. Oh and the kicker.... STYROFOAM cups for water. Who uses Styrofoam clearly knowing the environmental implications?? I've uploaded pictures of what a $29 meal at Cafe Rio gets you and the wonderful ambiance you can expect. GROSS. DON'T COME HERE.

I love Cafe Rio and have been fan since you guys opened the first location in Utah. Today’s on-line order was a mess!!! First I received an email with a $10 off offer if I order on-line so I do. Two salads, double meat, sub shredded lettuce etc. Both salads made wrong with no shredded lettuce, wrong proteins and no double protein I paid for. On top of this my wife’s wheat tortilla had a cheese and I specifically selected no cheese. No extra pico or anything I ordered. Not a great experience any time I order on-line. Always something missing from dressing, salsa, modifiers.

First time here, definitely a win. Shredded pulled chicken taco plate was absolutely fire!! Some places use funky chicken thigh meat for tacos but not here!! I am sooo pleased. And the tacos are HUGE. Mom and I were able to share the taco plate just fine. We’ll be back!

The place was pretty good. I got soup. It was incredibly delicious but quite small. I'm looking forward to trying out their burritos, which is their main food option. I just wasn't that hungry.

I really could like this restaurant. The food is really tasty. However, portions are inconsistent. I'm wondering if they ever clean. The place is filthy. The tables don't sit level, and the chairs are uncomfortable. It's definitely not cheap, so I would expect better. I wouldn't try the Horchata if you paid me. The dispenser doesn't look like it's ever been cleaned.

I normally don't like to leave negative reviews, however, reading similar reviews from over a year ago is concerning. This place is absolutely filthy. To the point where I didn't want to touch anything or sit down. The grime build up on these benches is disgusting. The food is no better, flavorless and bland. The employees are nice though, that's about it.

Grubhub order … 20 dollars for a burrito of nothing but rice and black beans. Cafe Rio used to be amazing. This location isnt it.

This place is so filthy and needs to be deep cleaned! Tabletops and trays were sticky. The glass inside the store is covered with smears and drips of who knows what. The walls, floors and surfaces of this place are covered in drips, bits of food stuff, and there are cob webs in all the corners. The door handles are just straight up nasty. If this is what the seating area looks like that the public sees, I’m scared of what the kitchen and serving areas look like.

Food was good, service was excellent. Appreciated that the staff followed food handling protocols that I could see and it's what I require of my staff serving food. I recently visited another restaurant where I will never go again because of the lack of food safety handling not implemented such as gloves, hair put up and hats worn.

Super fast - order correct. Ordered on the app and picked up inside. Food was great and perfectly packaged. No issues and super Delicious Barbacoa burritos.

Great experience overall. Our family was visiting the state and this was the perfect stop. The food was hit and fresh, and a staff member gave us a free drink after we had forgotten to get one. Very clean and nice.

Food was good. Could be a little more generous with toppings. Staff was great, very friendly. It was very chilly in the store.
