I stayed here for a night on a work trip. The hotel staff was friendly at check in and did advise me there were a lot of kids staying at the time and so I expected some noise. Parking was good with plenty of spaces around the building. The pool was open yet crowded for the night. The room was clean however; there were some small fixes that needed attention which I left notes for the staff. There was a mini fridge with a separate freezer which I did like as I could keep my ice packs cold. The water pressure in the shower was good. I was awakened by the phone ringing in my room at 1am which I didn’t answer and also some kind of alarm was going off in the hallway at 3am; didn’t find out what that was about. I didn’t sleep as best as I wanted. Breakfast was a disappointment. The breakfast room was very small, no real hot breakfast aside from some french toast sticks, cereal, granola bars, bagels, coffee and juice. No oatmeal, waffle maker or any healthy options. For the price of $125 for the night; I expected more than mediocre and perhaps they should have a quiet time policy in place to accommodate the guests that are there to rest.

No complaints. Rooms and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was okay. The only hot item was the make your own waffles. The other items were the standard fruit, yogurt, mini muffins.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The room was outdated and dirty. The walls are PAPER thin. "Breakfast" is poptarts, gritty coffee, and waffles you have to make yourself. The person at the front desk was visibly dirty when we checked in and argued with their front desk mate, which made for a very uncomfortable welcome. The bathroom is maybe 2ftx2ft, including the shower. Outrageous for $250 a night. I'd rather sleep in my car for free.

Absolutely amazing service, and a clean and well maintained building. The pool was warm and very clean. The lobby and breakfast areas were stocked with good food, and we enjoyed the cordial nature of the staff.

Decent location to get to from Michigan adventure but for the price I was expecting a touch more. The breakfast was decent but the hardboiled eggs tasted off and the rest is what you expect but with the bonus of French toast sticks. The rooms were decent sized but older, and the bathrooms have that dingy, mildew smell.

The place is old, the rooms are clean but not sure about the carpets. The morning breakfast is a joke. Expired yogurts, one waffle maker for these many rooms- tried waiting for 30 mins to get a waffle, in the end the batter was over. The juice dispenser did not work. Won’t recommend this place. It would be good for a 50$ a night hotel

Despite the reviews and the 100ish dollars, I cannot complain! Room is clean, clear signs about the heat being controlled on the wall, it is out dated on some aspects but it's a clean, warm, comfortable room. No bugs, no stains on the bed or anywhere else, could use a tad better cleaning but honestly I'm not that concerned. Gentleman the desk was kind, fast and answered my questions! Room 112 had hot water and no weird smells 😊 I would stay here again. 😄

The hotel front desk workers were extremely nice and helpful and should all be given generous raises for having to deal with the occupants that abused them during our stay. While there for a nearby sports tournament we were told to stay there for the large pool, which was so chlorinated all our kids got chemical burns. Then we witnessed the front desk have to literally throw occupants out that had barricaded themselves in thier room refusing to leave or pay. Fights broke out in the parking lot numerous times. If you enjoy the smell of weed in the middle of the night, followed by vivid dreams from the contact high, this is the place for you! If you enjoy hair pulling, mother daughter slap fests, this is the place for you! It was decently clean, but extremely dated and not worth the drama, though very entertaining. Just say no to the Baymont and go elsewhere.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Badly need remodeling; bathtubs surface worn, toilet seats thin cheap plastic. Looks like place was built 1970s and never had a good remodel. I attached a photo of the vent in the bathroom. The light in the bathtooms flickers. Service is friendly but you do have to ask for it. Have to put trash and used towels in hallway for pickup. I foolishly booked and prepaid for a “king suite” for 2 weeks, thinking I would have a kitchenette or sitting area as was pictured in the advertisement. Instead I got a standard king room which had a hot tub addition, which I had no intention of using. There were chairs but no coffee table in this “suite.” I asked to move and was moved to a regular king room. However, I was not offered any refund. Hey, at least this room had a little table next to the easy chair so I could eat meals comfortably. I havent checked out yet so we’ll see if they do a pro rata refund, but since I prepaid I doubt it. Breakfast bar is OK. Coffee in hot pots tastes awful, very cheap brand. No juice. Waffle maker was nice. Standard fare; yogurt, fruit, cereal, milk, toast, hard boiled eggs. It’s fine for the money but DON’T book their “suite” and don’t prepay!!

Tracy the front desk clerk was very polite and helpful. Rooms are clean inside and out. Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. Parking lot was clean. The area surrounding this place is very nice. Plenty of restaurants and grocery store.

I took my grandchildren there, and they had a ball. The pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast was real good.

Close to the car ferry, but the light bulbs in the room were so dim it creeped me out! Seemed like they were trying to hide the old paint. Rooms need new, brighter paint at the very least. Breakfast was fine, but confusing because half the items were in the lobby, half in adjacent room with a too small sign posted too high on the wall. Maybe move all items to adjacent room and all seating into the lobby. Nice that they offer 2 EV charging stations.

I'll be as brief and to the point as possible. The beds are unsupportive and you can feel the springs. The shower doesn't drain properly so you'll probably get athletes foot. If you work out, forget it. The treadmill broke while I was on it and the other equipment is not far from breaking. The tv signal dropped multiple times (over an hour each time) on a clear sunny day. The a/c doesn't work properly. Had set to 68 room never went below 73. Gets worse at night because there's a motion sensor that will shut it off completely. Oh, and as I write this review it is 7:40pm the maids are still cleaning rooms and making a ton of noise. Oh and the person working the front desk could easily be replaced by a wood log. The log would be helpful and might respond to words when they come out of your mouth. The only reason you might stay here is because the other hotels in town are full. In which case, drive 15 min in any direction and stay there.

Room and hotel were clean. Room looked out on wooded lot behind the hotel. The staff was attentive. Breakfast choices were cold cereal choices, a waffle maker, coffee and milk. The pool was clear and treated appropriately. The facility needs a face lift, to be honest; the pool needs an update. My 6 year old son enjoyed this hotel. My husband and I were happy it was central to our travels and they had a lot of restaurant deliveries in the area. All in all I will probably stay there again next year.

My stay was awesome! Room was clean, bed Very comfortable and breakfast was great! I'm not sure where the bad reviews come from. I would have to believe there are thousands of positive stays that don't post.

Great location close to highway, shops, mi adventure is 20 mins, lake michigan beaches are 20 mins. Close to meijer and all food places. Pool was big and clean. Hot tub was small. Rooms were small for a family of 5. Rooms were clean and nice, beds are ok. Bathroom was good just needed a refresh. Breakfast was great lots of options for the kids. Staff was friendly and helpful. Building looks rough on the outside and in the halls, no elevator only 2 floors. Overall great stay for us will book again if we need a place in this location.

Don't stay there unless you want to get ate up by bed bugs! we booked 4 rooms for 1 night spent 500 on those rooms. The front desk lady was very rude from the time we got to the time we left. We were not gonna stay because of the bed bugs, we were only there for 4 hours! got there at 6pm left at 10pm, We didn't Notice the bed bugs right away because we took our kids swimming. We took pictures of the bed bugs and the lady at the front desk didn't want to see them. And now she's refusing to give us our money back because according to her we stayed more than 5 hours, HOW? we got there at 6pm and left 10pm, thats 4 hours! So again please don't stay there unless you want bed bugs And your money stolen from you! I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anybody not even my worst enemy! I would give this hotel a 0 if Google reviews would let me!

Went for nephews birthday so he could swim and hew hot tub... Pool had way too much chlorine and hot tub did as well and wasn't very "hot*. Other than that the room was clean and decent size and the breakfast provided was definitely a hit with the kids. Nothing like making your own waffles, easily and tasty too 😉

Room was clean. Front desk were friendly and helpful. Only complaint would be that someone was clearly smoking in their room which is unfortunate. It's not the hotels fault that guests don't follow rules. Thank you for a great night.

Stuck here for Christmas weekend due to the weather. Nice rooms. Very comfortable bed. Took advantage of the heated pool house and hot tub. Very friendly staff! Will stay again if in the area.

Room was comfortable and clean, bedding clean and comfy as well I used the pool which was heated and the hot tub. Hot tub works, but you have to turn the dial on then slightly turn back and forth to make it turn on. Other guests thought the hot tub doesn't work, but it does. Coffee available in lobby. The breakfast was good, waffles and lots of other options, fruit and yogurt, hard boiled eggs and juice, cereal and milk. Nice out of the way area that feels safer than other hotels around the Muskegon area. We were only one night, but I would definitely stay at this hotel anytime I return to visit in Muskegon.

This hotel is more like a motel. Dingy, dark, smelly, and had big black bugs crawling on the wall. The room was tiny and cramped. Bathroom was absolutely disgusting!! Looked like bugs were killed and smashed on the walls and not wiped off. I'm so surprised that there aren't many hotels near Michigan's adventure. I wasn't expecting such a trashy motel.

We picked this place as it was convenient to the sites that we were attending for 7 days. It was nice and clean. It was also back off the road so you didn't hear the traffic going by. They offer a nice continental breakfast and the pool is enjoyable.

Was just there, Rooms were okay and staff was friendly.Enjoyed some pool time with my little one except one of the nights had a group of not well behaved teens that were noisey in the pool and taking up space and didn't care about the others that were there.Bathroom was very small, they had no elevator but the front desk asked us if we prefer ground floor so that was very nice of them.Disnt try the breakfast yet my family did and it was ok, not very many selections but overall it wasn't a bad stay.

We chose this hotel only because it was not too far from Michigan's Adventure. It was kind of tucked away on outskirts of town. The pool area did not look very clean. We did not use it.The breakfast was not very good. There wasn't anything hot to eat and the coffee was bitter. The rooms were just ok..could use some attention or a remodel. Our ironing board was broken. We called the front desk to let them know we got it broken..that we didn't do it. They did not offer to swap for a working one. Also..it has just 2 floors. Not a big deal, except there is no elevator. I should have had one for health reasons (bad knees)...so my husband and son did the lifting on the stairs. I had to have them be my gophers if I forgot something in the car. The bathroom was very small as well. It was a room with 2 double beds.

Apparently the housekeeper has all of her kids here (5+), told to me by the manager at the front desk and so we have dealt with endless screaming. In the pool, up and down the hallways, vulgar language from not only the kids but the lady that keeps randomly showing up telling them to shut the F#$% up in front of my own children. What seems ironic is there are multiple postings that parties, multiple people, birthdays etc are not allowed in any form. But the housekeeper can leave her gaggle of children unattended to scream in the hot tub that says no children under 18 unsupervised. Rooms are great, front was acceptable although while checking in they blamed whoever I did my original reservation for being dyslexic because they spelled my last name wrong. Thought that was unnecessary to do.

Was myself and 2 daughters their, and at first was ok. But then got sketchy. The 3rd shift worker kept watching us when we'd go back n forth from pool. At 1 point I opened my door to go get ice. And he was standing (awkwardly) in the room across from us (a clean room) acting as if he was fixing something. When I went addressed the situation and that my daughter's felt uncomfortable, he told me on camera he seen a guy at my door (and he was telling me that the worker was outside walking back n forth in from of out door) he lied about his name and gave me false information for management.... Was a crack pipe by the hot tub that my daughter' almost stepped on.. wasn't very welcoming and pretty uncomfortable.. in the process of reporting, because I also have video of my interaction with him.. Tv didn't work for 2 days, out of the 3 we were their. Waiting for waffle machine in the morning and the workers were in their eating, got in front of me and proceeded to make their own, disregarded me waiting. Whispering and speaking Spanish..
