We have our usual spots in SoNo but so glad we checked this place out. Great margaritas, phenomenal ceviche, and really awesome steak. Don’t let the quiet vibe turn you off, it’s definitely a new hidden gem in Norwalk.

What a joke , I order pollo a la brasa, and it was dry and cold , The fries , was soaked on oil , not Peruvian at all beside all the sauces and aji that comes with the dish, cero flavor Flan : disgusting , I think they bought at Walmart and didn’t even follow instructions Tres leches : looks like puke , and ended in the garbage together with flan , I didn’t wanted risk a stomach problem for sure When we call to complaint , they have a really rude attitude , never an apology Needless to say , will never come back and they putting the name of Peruvian food on the floor

The place looked nice, so we went in. The food was extremely bland, almost no flavor. The oysters did not seem fresh. I do not recommend this restaurant as a peruvian restaurant. There are other better choices. Also, the bathroom had no toilet paper and the mirror had a film of dust.

The food had cut corners. Dressings and sauces were literally watered down, only gave 2 forks for 3 people taking out, and my lomo saltado was mostly rice, and really skimped on the meat. We also got some empanadas, and we got 2 chickens instead of 1 chicken and 1 beef. It’s a pretty middle of the road, I wouldn’t come running back.

Some of the best Peruvian food I’ve ever had! Raul the owner was extremely kind and welcoming. You can really tell he took pride in his food and was delighted we loved it just as much as he does. We will definitely be back!

Amazing food. Even our kids loved it. Loved it so much we went back two weeks later and it tasted even better. Often times you like a place and then go back and it is not quite the same. That was not the case. All dishes were great but the ceviche is amazing

The food is great and the waiter was so laid back in the best way. He answered our questions and followed up without being too intrusive. We will be back!

This is the best restaurant we’ve tried so far in SoNo! Just got back from a trip to Iceland so we had high expectations for the cod and they were met. The food is fresh, well seasoned, with generous portions. The owners are really nice and polite.

Walked in on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We were the only people in there so service was super fast. The Cod in the seafood bisque was so awesome. Also had the ceviche and chicken empanada and pork empanada. Everything was good and the beer was ice cold.

Food was great! My first time eating at a Peruvian restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Frank the bartender was real nice and helped us to understand the menu choices. We'll be back!

Ordered pick up for a lomo, arroz con marisco, and wonton. Was happy to hear they were blending fresh aji sauce in the back. Wontons were really good m; unfortunately the lomo was without flavor and appeared to have only been cooked with some soy soy sauce, no vinegar or cilantro. At first I was excited because it appeared they had hand cut fries ( as authentic Peruvian cuisine does) but they were these soft chunks of a baked potato( very odd), my wife had the arroz con mariscos and now has food poisoning. I believe it was from the mussels. I’m not entirely blaming restaurant because with shellfish it can be the luck of the draw, but something wasn’t being stored correctly ( it would appear). She’s been up all night with the lovely symptoms that come with seafood poisoning. Overall this place has potential, but there appears to be a need for a cook who truly knows Peruvian cuisine and its ingredients. Management also should carefully inspect the shellfish currently in house.

Check your to-go containers before leaving!!! We ordered a soup that we were looking forward to taking home. Our server kindly bagged it for us, along with another dish, however we arrived home only to realize that the soup had been put in a tinfoil container rather than a container for liquids and had leaked all over our back seat. While it was pretty good at the restaurant, it was certainly not worth the cost of the subsequent car wash to get chicken broth and carrot out of our seats.

The owner was so sweet and welcoming, we came into an empty restaurant late one night and he instantly made us feel at home. Delicious empanadas and mouthwatering ceviche, and after a wonderful conversation he even gave us flan! We will be returning regularly!
