Visited with my family recently,really enjoyed our food we took a doggie bag home as large portions but very nice.Staff friendly the children were also made balloon animals on the way out which they loved.Large menu and a nice vibe.Music playing we liked it but not ideal for If you want to eat somewhere quiet or romantic.Free baby food given for our littleone which was a nice touch .A very family friendly place. Would definitely go again we enjoyed our visit and food.

I just had the best stack of ribs in my life. My family was also very pleased with the food they ordered. Staff are friendly and general atmosphere is very nice.

I went here for my birthday with my wife and kids. The waiter was incredibly good, very attentive and didn't need to chase to get refills etc. We shared a big plate of nachos, I had the deluxe wagyu burger, the wife had the chicken fajitas, my daughter had the steak frites and my son had the fish fingers and chips from the children's menu. The starter and mains were delicious, a minor gripe would be the sauce pot that came with my meal, didn't have a strong enough flavour. Before the desserts came the staff sang happy birthday to me and gave me a slice of cake. For dessert I had the apple crumble pie, my wife had the chocolate brownie, my daughter had a smores sundae and my son had a male your own sundae. The brownie and sundae were delicious. The problem with my apple crumble pie was the flavour just wasn't quite right, there was a flavour in there that didn't work and overpowered the rest of the dish. All in all a very enjoyable meal.

Real mixed feelings about TGI generally. I think since 2019 the quality of food has dropped , the quantity reduced and price has gone up. Puddings are far too over priced. I was also really disappointed when I sent back two cokes twice and they still came back watered down (see image). Eventually, I requested Lemonade, which again was watered down . The staff were great, they are the best thing at TGI. It's a shame that this iconic venue (TGI not Norwich only) has let me down so many times . The saving feature is how the staff treat guests , we always feel special when we visit the Norwich TGI.

Always good food here and service was great as always. Especially Rosie who we had tonight. She was super friendly and sweet. Marked down atmosphere as sometimes it's just a tad too loud to even hear other people at your table 😅

Baby-back ribs were 10/10, great sticky BBQ sauce that went perfectly. Burger was yummy. Service was a delight. Would go again.

When here for an anniversary dinner, was welcomed with a free glass of bubbly which was a nice surprise. Menu has changed some what since I last visited (pre covid) but was still as expected and very tasty. Staff were very friendly and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable

My wife picked TGI for a bite to eat and I felt kinda ambivalent about it. After being seated with appropriate social distancing or waiter was fast friendly and attentive. Every dish we ordered exceeded expectations the revamped menu treated lighter and fresher than I remember and we both really enjoyed the nachos, vegan burger and veggie fajitas washed down with some cocktails. Great work TGI I'm now looking forward to the next visit with gusto.

Service was fast. We went in earlier than our booking and were allowed in. Food was flavourful and portions were good. Staff were attentive. Good location with quick access to city centre. Seating area could have been cleaner. Choice of sauces were limited

Food was nice, service wasn't amazing but did the job. We noticed food waited a long time on the side before brought out to everyone resulting in like warm delivery. Was my sons birthday and, although they did sing and got him to shout out, it wasn't great. Overall, food was nice enough.

Me and the wife went to grab some food at around 5:45pm on a Saturday evening. Was told it would be a 15 minute wait for a table, which turned out to be more like a 25 minute wait. We placed our food order and the food came fairly quickly. The standard was poor. I ordered some tacos with chips and the mrs order a Quesadilla which was servered as essentially a wrap folded up, not heat pressed etc. My taco looked like it was chucked together in less than a minute. Didn't eat the rest of the food and made a complaint to the waiter, who was very understanding and very apologetic. We left a tip for the server as he was great. Looked like the place was suffering with a case of the "Too Busy". I won't be rushing back.

Starter was tasty. Main was missing the festive extras and the steak was pretty cool but it tasted alright. Lovely waitress though.

Good place to come with a family, American diner style with a cool atmosphere and decorations. Open kitchen and a large bar is a good idea. Chicken was below average.

Found the menu a bit confusing when I scanned the allergen barcode, but staff quickly helped me out and left me space to decide whether to stay or not which was welcomed. The clean tequila left a bit to be desired as it tasted of water with maybe a drop of grapejuice and even less of bitterness. Franklin and Sons ginger beer (not gluten free) was nice with a small ginger kick, but just enough. However the 3 yr Havana rum was worth every drop! Gluten free burger and fries nice. Staff were attentive and informative. Clean and nicely lit. Oh and I was so happy to see an allergen stick that didn't have 'allergen' printed on it! A quiet night, this place deserves to be filled to the rafters. American size portions and great music at just the right level.

First time trying tgi fridays today. Been wanting to try for ages! I got the ultimate cheese dipper burger with fries. The chicken tacos and Mac & cheese bites. As my drink I ordered a lemon and lime. The lemon and lime was not very good. I think it was just lemon water with lime juice and not actually lemonade with lime cordial. 1/10 The burger was absolutely amazing though! Tasted fresh and a really nice cheesy grilled flavour. The chips were average but honestly still very nice. 9/10 The tacos I unfortunately didn’t like at all, they had a lot of lemon juice and coriander which was like a mix of lots of heat and mint. Really didn’t like the taste. 1/10. Lastly the Mac & cheese bites were okay, you could tell they weren’t fresh and some had hardly no Mac & cheese inside. A bit over cooked but was still decent. 4/10. The food took awhile to come but overall, I would come here again, great atmosphere, good music and most of the food was nice. 6/10 overall.

The service and workers are absolutely amazing and create a beautifully fun atmosphere, especially come here for special occasions! The workers deserve everything and more as they have created a better time all round than any other restaurant I’ve been to! The mozzarella sticks are the most amazing food you could eat there definitely worth a try if your going here!

Great service from Fletcher, he is awesome at his job 👏 ❤️ Starters of prawns and chicken strips were very nice.. Ribs very good, corn on the cob was not so good, lacked any flavour and was odd. Husband enjoyed burger. A nice night thank you. 😊

I visited Norwich in 2018. I left and moved in late 2017, but I and my family decided to visit Norwich to catch up with a friend. Our friend was happy to see us, and we went to TGIF to get some lunch. We didn't have to wait at all; the waiters were very patient and understanding, and the food was nice. Definitely 5 stars.

Our experience at bottomless brunch was amazing! The service and staff were so lovely, especially Mia our server who was openly recommending the best food and drinks and doing her best to insure we had an enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend.

We was travelling to Yarmouth and stopped by here for my partners birthday. We was served by Will, what a great member of staff, friendly , polite and went above and beyond. Will made this trip to TGIs so much better. Oh and the food was banging Thanks will, you deserve a pay rise

Came in for Dinner Saturday evening, was a little busy and was asked to wait 30 mins for a table, no issue I was allowed to order a drink at the bar and wait. Beer was a little over priced £6.50 but what you going to do. My server Megan (hope I got the right spelling) was quick in taking my order and getting refills. The starter was fan, not issues. Sadly the kitchen forgetting my source with my main and giving me extra corn on the cob (which I did not ask for) took some of the shine off the meal, as did the slightly dirty table and no cutlery. But Megan was a trooper, and so quick on her toes in sorting out issues fast! Great server Thank you!

I wanted to say a massive thank you to Jack on Sunday 18th June who went above and beyond with customer service. They had run out of lettuce and because I only wanted grilled chicken and salad he went out to source lettuce from another restaurant so that I had a decent salad. Great place to eat, great selection. Service also great with refills...didn't even have to ask, only downside was waiting to see if we wanted dessert or bill. Other all great venue as you would expect.

Spontaneous night out with my partner so we didn’t book anything, anywhere.. tried multiple restaurants on riverside but we’ve got turned down instantly. We gave it a go at TGI Fridays Norwich and we’ve been welcomed by bubbly and funny manager Adam, he explained to us what the current “state” is and how long we have to wait. We’ve been given a lovely booth at the bar to have a drink and within 10/15 minutes we’ve been told that our table is ready. Served by lovely chap named Jack, very funny and chatty guy. Food arrived quick, delicious and steaming hot. Highly recommend!

Amazing place, great service of staff, food delicious, atmosphere great. Interior design is amazing. Highly recommend it to everyone who likes great American food and American settings.

Bad experience tonight would never go again really not like it use to be. when we got there the table and seats where dirty and covered in bits of food so we cleaned it so we could sit down, the food was bad the wedge salad was just lettuce and a couple of bits of bacon see photo this is what I received nothing like the description, the burger was under cooked, I complained to manager she was not helpful, told me that’s how they all are so I replied why is mine the only one like this and the other 3 burgers we ordered where cooked she then repeated that’s how they are. This is not acceptable behaviour or attitude of a manager she needs retraining on customer service because she has an attitude problem, I asked for a refund just for the burger not the whole bill if not I will leave a bad review she then replied do what you want ! then she took my kids meal away that he was only half way through eating, I then asked for her to come back and told her she can take that meal off the bill as you just took it away when he was not finished she had no choice but to refund for that meal but still refused to take the undercooked burger off, so we paid and left very disappointed if I treated my customers like that I would be out of business.

Ordered two Sirloin steaks Med rare. Outside of the steak was charred inside was over cooked. My hubby swapped. Steak dry fatty and stringy. Awful! Steaks never taste like steaks of the 70s Expensive Meal

Really enjoyed my lunch here. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The menu had a great selection to cover everyone's tastes. Price is also very reasonable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good meal in a great atmosphere.

I really liked it here, the lady that serviced us was very nice. I had the mozzarella stick to start and they were very good. I then had the chicken fingers and they were also good, fries where nice aswell. I then had the brownie to finish it all off and that was exactly as described. Overall I was very happy with the service and food.

Fantastic meal, cooked perfectly, and tasted great. We got seen and seeted in a very timely manner, and our waitress was very informal regarding the menu and what they had run out of. (This was expected as I booked it last minute, and the staff member managed to squeeze us in before they close, which my partner and I were very grateful for) We both had 3 courses And they all came out beautifully Not rushed or undercooked. Although it's slightly pricey, you definitely get what you pay for. Because of the consistency of the food and the promptness of our waitress, we left a more than acceptable tip. Since the visit I have already recommended this place to friends and family and I recommend you try it for yourself. *My partner wanted me to add:* (They also have amazing cocktails)
