Relaxing afternoon, sitting by the river with the dogs, on a lovely day. Ride your bike there after dark, for a ghostly, haunted vibe, if that's your thing. Bring a flashlight and a friend. It can be spooky.

This is the birthplace of John Morton signer of the Declaration of Independence. Real history buffs will love it. I grew up less than one mile away and at the time the caretaker loved to give tours. I hope it is still this way.

Had an incredible visit. My family was given a special tour from a family friend. Her knowledge was incredible. She has been involved with the Morton Morton house from the early 80s. I've taken the tour before and the presenter makes a huge difference. She was able to not only date items in the house but where it xame from. She,also, had some insight to the houses future. If your from Chester down to Glenolden including Tinicum the house is open Sundays during the summer 12 to 4 i believe. Its a great way to teach the kids or yourself local history. I can't recommend this high enough. Twice as much on a dull rainy Sunday kids driving you crazy trust me this is the place for you. They give school tours in May & June. They know how to handle kids

Went there on a school trip and i liked it. I haven't gone back since but i have caught glimpses of it while riding my bike. It seems like a very calm area and the most nature you'll find in all of norwood.
