This was a five star dinning experience in all areas. I absolutely recommend dining here, for us it was a special occasion (10 year anniversary). It was an amazing dinner and the perfect choice. They exceeded all expectations and our server, Amity, exceptional service. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of food and the exceptional service at The Capital Grille-Cincinnati. Weather a celebration or a nice meal out, you can’t go wrong dinning here.

We went to Capital Grille to celebrate my granddaughter’s 16th birthday! The ambience, the service, and the food were all excellent. I highly recommend the South African lobster tails. Sweet and delicious. My son-in-law got the lamb chops which were cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce, and my daughter got the steak and Maine lobster. Their steaks are top-notch! The oysters for an appetizer was an excellent choice. I have nothing else to say except get yourself over there!

Our first time here. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and we were very happy with choosing The Capital Grille. Everything was perfect: ambiance, food selection, drinks. We had such a great time! The steaks prepared as ordered. The desserts were heavenly!!!! Top notch service! You have to experience it! We will definitely come back. Planned a surprise birthday dinner for a friend and they pulled out all the stops. Food was incredible and the atmosphere was cozy. Our waiter Steven was awesome too!

Great restaurant! Went here for our anniversary and they did a fantastic job! Ambiance was great, food was cooked to perfection (still thinking about the lobster and crab cake), drinks were great and our waitress Kelli was great. Would go here again!

Our experience was excellent. We went for our anniversary and our waitress Kristina was amazing. She was very considerate and prompt with our meals and drinks. The lobster and crab cakes were great (good chunks of crab!). Food was cooked correctly, and ambiance was a quiet formal setting. Would highly recommend and definitely going again.

Very pleased with the Capital Grille. I had gone with my brother and sister-in-law in Independence, Ohio for the first time some months ago. The experience was amazing. The food was amazing. The people were amazing. I was looking for a special place we could go near home to celebrate some birthdays with a nice dinner out. Sometimes when a place is a "chain" with several locations, one experience is not necessarily the same as another. Well, we are now 2 for 2. And we will come again. I feel special at the Capital Grille; I felt like the staff really cared about our experience and what they do, and took pride in that. Very enjoyable, all around. The Cincinnati location on Edwards Road lived up to my expectations, after visiting the Independence location. Our waiter was extremely personable without being phony. He was truly a kind and friendly person. All the staff members were very professional and knowledgeable. The menu was extensive, and every item we ordered could not have been better. I had the tomahawk veal chop, which was, well, exceptional, flavorful, tender, and very enjoyable. Everyone else in our group ordered steaks of one kind or another. To be honest, one was not better than another. They all were cooked perfectly, tender, and very flavorful, without being overly salty. The sides to order for the table were delicious, and plentiful for the 5 of us. Since we were celebrating 3 birthdays, the waiter ordered a sample plate with a couple lovely dessert selections, for each of the 3 of us. Very generous. I really can't say enough about the Capital Grille. The ambiance, the people, the food, all were 5-star. I wanted a special place to celebrate. And I chose the right restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Incredible experience with the entire staff. Valet is complimentary, they decorate the table for special occasions, recommendations for food and drink are spot on, and the hospitality is wonderful!

Can’t recommend the Capital Grille enough. Every location is great but this place has unmatched customer service and makes the experience great every time. My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary dinner here and continue to go back every year now because their team calls us to wish us a happy anniversary. We continue to go back because their team and management truly values you as a customer and a person. Also, can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, it’s all amazing!

Great seating, host, servers are superb as always. Pricing is par for Capital Grilles' elevated dining. Nice selections on the cocktail menu. I Tried the Black tie Margarita verdict was just "Good" and the Black berry Sidecar which kinda fell into my subpar Sidecars. My daughter had a shrimp appetizer and the Ctab cake, which was slightly disappointing in size. My fiance had the oysters with bacon which turned out to be quite a bit salty. I ordered the aged Peppercorn Strip/medium with Cognac sauce but it was served definitely Well done, and slightly tough and minimally seasoned. The heavy peppercorn application was Overkill, and I hoped the Couvausier sauce would enhance the steak but to me it actually clashes with the steaks natural beefy flavor, in my opinion. Overall the presention of their meals and ambiance made up for this experience and enjoying Loved ones sharing some time with me. I'll be back to try another steak & different cut. Hey sometimes Chefs can't hit homeroom every time.

Our wait staff weee excellent. James was knew the menu and wine selections well. I recommend the Waygu steak.

The food and drinks were served promptly. The lobster and crab cakes were a favorite. Our steaks were over cooked. The medium well was served well done, and the well done was burnt. The manager accommodated us and offered to prepare it the way we asked. They surprised the graduate with a nice dessert. Good experience.

An amazing dinner! We had a wonderful evening and enjoyed the experience a lot. William was an awesome server who made the meal more enjoyable. The food was exquisite. The steak was tender and so flavorful; it was probably the best steak I have had. We also enjoyed the steak tartare, French onion soup, the lobster bisque, and coconut cream pie. The evening and meal experience were superb.

The ambiance and seating arrangements in the restaurant really set it apart from other steakhouses. The waitress, Megan, was very tentative and gave her personal recommendations while telling us about the specials. The steak was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning, and was much larger than what was stated on the menu. It never felt like we were being rushed out of the restaurant, and we had individuals constantly refilling glasses or clearing the table. Would highly recommend if you have the chance!

I visited here, for the first time, on my birthday. I had heard good things and was absolutely pleased to see that the expectations I had were lived-up to. The staff and the food were both extraordinary. They are self-described as a private club open to the public and it definitely had that feel. For the quality of the food and the service I was pleased that the experience did not come across at all as pretentious. If you want a great meal, celebrating a special event or not, do yourself a favor and visit The Capital Grille.

Nice place for a date! Lobster Mac N Cheese is amazing! I liked my date’s salmon better than my sea bass! Overall experience was good. Would definitely patronize again!

I went here yesterday for my birthday celebration. It was absolutely delicious. Our server was very nice and accommodating. The food was absolutely phenomenal! Everything I had is in the pictures. I will say I didn't care for the chocolate cake. It's flourless, so the texture is odd and I think it's made with dark chocolate. The people that I came with did like it so it's probably just a matter of personal preference. This restaurant is definitely worth a try !
