It was a good restaurant for Japanese food. it was really busy when we got there but we could sit right away. Servers seemed really busy so they took our order a little bit late but the server who took our order was so nice. Of course appetizer and sushi was great too. They have Hibachi so you can hear the sound from it it was a fun experience. Also they have a bar inside. I recommend this place😊😊

Very rude host and very bad restaurant practices. The host threw the menus on the table when alloting us one. He was also rude when receiving and talking. When we were on the table, the cleaning lady just decided to clean the table. She took off all the empty plates, sat on the opposite end and started cleaning with liquid. Overall, very bad experience.

Yamato has a big area for hibachi, so there was a short wait to be seated. Both the food and service were extremely good. For birthdays, they have a robot that brings the cake to your table and sings happy birthday. The parking is tight because the restaurant is in a small plaza and the tipping policy is not good.

There was 9 of us for sons birthday party. Seating was prompt. Staff were extremely courteous. As each member of our family arrived were seated promptly, we came in with the cake the staff immediately took the cake & asked us how old and if we wanted candles, then seated us. Immediately we had drinks and a different waitresses was taking our order. Even though we were running late we all were served together. The chef was unbelievable!!!! So entertaining chopping, flipping, and flames 🔥 everywhere (safely). Every part of the service was fantastic. I was so glad that we chose to celebrate our son's birthday there. I would recommend this for any kind of gathering, I'm just so grateful that I was a able to participate in such a wonderful event that everyone enjoyed. 😊

Amazing food and great service. I had an issue with the alcohol in the food but the chef was so nice and accommodating. The hibachi was fun, very entertaining. Overall , a great experience worth the extra money, would definitely come back. I highly recommend it.

Really beautiful location. We had reservations but ended up having to wait like 15 minutes which is understandable, they were really busy. Sushi and drinks were incredible. Hibachi was great. Only bummer is we got filet mignon medium rare and the chef gave them to us well done. Other than that had a really wonderful time.

Dont know when they started this (unless its the location i went to) but have never seen an Automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill. I always tip the chef since he is doing 80-85% of the work! I do tipp wait staff as well. Your food is literally served from grill to plate. The waitress will bring you a salad your soup any appetizers and drinks, She took forever for me to get a refill on my beverage . This location is bigger than the brockton one but they squeeze an extra person in the grill/table. So it was tight with bowls from salad nd soup nd app plates, Especially with the extra body at the table. Sushi apps were fresh and and delivered expeditiously. Hibachi was the normal hibachi (what i expect). Might stick to Brockton Local next time

I always get take out from here because the food is always so wonderfully light, delicious and fresh! I always find myself craving their green salad or steamed shrimp shumai. Absolutely exquisite. Pictures are the same order from different days and let me tell you I absolutely beasted this yum diddly dum uppers

My friends loved their sushi and meal. I however wasn't satisfied with my pad Thai . The waitress told me she couldn't mix tofu and noodle, which I know is untrue, because I've had pad Thai in several restaurants, and they always mix tofu and noodle. Also they added baby corn and well cooked broccoli , I'd rate it a 2. The avacado salad was very good. It was a disappointing meal for me.

Great place for groups, families and friends altogether!

Awesome experience. I was able to call and place my party of 7 on the list. When we arrived we we're seated right away. Sadly once we were seated we didn't see the waitress for almost 15 mins. Then everytime we ordered something it just seemed to take extra long. She was very nice just a bit slow for my taste. Our chef was awesome and funny. He included my 7 year old so that made the meal for him. Food was tasty. We were one of the last parties there and we did feel kinda rushed but they let us take our time and still sang Happy birthday to my father in law. All in all I would come back.

I have been here a few times and typically always have a great experience. The staff is friendly, the food is amazing and they give you soup & salad as well as rice & noodles instead of picking one. One thing I really don’t like is that they overcrowd the hibachi tables. They will seat you without a view of the table if they need to rather than starting another table and it kinda ruins the experience. This happened the last time I went, otherwise every other time I have had a nice seat and a great meal. The chef also IDed me before giving me saki which was annoying because I had already ordered a cocktail and it was clearly in front of me.

We got the swordfish & chicken hibachi dinners. Great overall experience, but personally would have liked the meats to be more flavorfully seasoned. Would recommend trying out the bang bang shrimp app - delicious dish and good portion size two! Ambience is a 3.5/5, but service is 5/5.

Great experience, with friendly service and excellent food. The Robot waiter was a highlight for the kids - it brings out soups, salads and take out to the front desk. Super cool! I had the scallops , the kids got chicken. Tons of food : be sure not to over order, unless you like left overs!

Don't waste your time coming here. Service is ok but they screw you on the 2 person special for $65. It's really for 2 people because individualy you get way more for less money. Feel like we got scammed. Our Chicken was rubbery. The filet was over done and we asked for medium so they sucked at following instructions. Asked for a diet coke for my pregnant wife and got regular. It's not that complicated just choose a better spot to go out instead of this one.

Pretty good place for the most part. Food was good, it was packed with people and the staff was great. If anything the other customers were the issue. From looking like they were gonna dine and dash to complaining about being allergic to seafood after he is already finally into cooking. I wanted to say next time why don’t you order a personal plate so not to ruin the show👍🏽👍🏽

Took a huge group of us (16 ppl) on short notice and we all had a fantastic time. Great service and food! They always put on an entertaining show there as they cook the food. Lots of good drink choices.

We ordered take out. Food was delicious but no utensils, napkins, chopsticks or soy sauce for my sushi. We spent a good $60 worth of food. We were vacationing and stayed at the hotel. Our hotel doesn't supply soy sauce and such. We were lucky enough to find forks at the hotel. It's kind of common sense to add soy sauce packets to sushi orders and utensils.

We went there last night. The food was ok, but they have very bad service. The waitress gave us the bill included service fee. She also attacked us for more tips right after she charged us the bills. It’s ridiculous. VERY BAD service!!

Looks like a fun atmosphere. Busy on a Friday night. I picked up food to go, was there early and it was ready on a table for pickup. Chicken was overcooked in the chicken teriyaki and the chicken yaki udon, but family enjoyed the two since it wasn't too salty. The miso soups were nice in a cold day, and the fried rice was just ok. The hibachi combo looked good, will have to try that next time.

It was our first time and we felt lost. The wait staff didn't try to explain any thing. I wanted hot tea and asked what sweetener they carried and she loom at me and said sugar so I asked if they had equal, splenda or sweet and low she said they had sugar so I said I wanted something hot but I'll take a Sprite she said oh, we have the yellow sweetener. I understand if English is not their first language but don't dismiss me if I can't understand you or brush me off.

the food was really bland. specially the meat.I got the beef teriyaki and tempura shrimp dinner box. the miso soup and drinks were good. our bartender was really nice and attentive.

Food was DELICIOUS! Definitely got what we paid for. Staff was fun (loved the display of cooking) and the chocolate tini was awesome!! Look forward to future visits here when I return 2 Massachusetts in the future

This is a great place to dine! I chose it for my Birthday because it is always a lot of fun!! The food is so delicious the servers are attentive. Drinks are good. The chef's are very entertaining and great to watch!

We had a really fun hibachi experience here. My 6-year old daughter loved it. Food was very good too!
