They ask for 100$ security payment along with the price of the rooms. That would be fine if the rooms were pleasant. The rooms are not very nice and stuff is broken in the rooms. So if something is broken as you arrive make sure to remember that. If they try and say you broke somthing. 100$ security payment is not worth it for the rooms they have. Not very clean feeling and not worth the money. Also if they offer to give you their “best rooms” I would decline. The room we were given was by the pool so all I heard was kids running around and screaming all day. I almost called and complained. Go somewhere else. The desk people are usually nice tho.

I stayed two different times across about a week, both times being checked in by Lexi. The first time maybe 5 minutes after making an online reservation I received a polite phone call from her apologizing that the room I selected wasn't available and if I could take a different type of room instead. (sure, no problem). I've checked in to choice brand hotels easily hundreds of times and she was one of the most welcoming, pleasant , polite, efficient people doing that job that I've come across. She's a definite asset to the Clover and to Choice hotels. As for the rooms the first was second floor (no elevators) double, and it was fine, the second stay ground floor same wing but wasn't as clean, floors, table, were sort of sticky. Breakfast rules changed between the two stays. the first stay required a voucher and you traded that in for a flimsy styrofoam plate starting at 6 AM (and the crew opened 15 minutes late) second stay the hours changed to 7AM kickoff and no voucher required, there also wasn't someone sitting at a table monitoring plates and food. The first breakfast had more items than the second but the second breakfast had thicker paper plates that you could just grab on your own and get started at the buffet style containers. Check out went fine , both mornings. One word of caution the coffee in the lobby is as hot as lava, grab a napkin to help you hold the hot paper cup.

The staff were pleasant enough, however that is the only positive regarding our stay. The room appeared to be ok upon first review but the door didn’t appear to lock securely, there were flies in the room, and the shower didn’t work. We arrived around 4pm on a Saturday and went to the ND campus. Got back around 7pm and when we realized we couldn’t shower, we booked a different hotel and then left. Not the best part of town either, would definitely recommend staying closer to ND campus if you can. Would only recommend if you can’t afford any of the other places in town.

The hotel was surprisingly larger than expected from the outside. First and foremost, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and that is why the rating is a 3/5 and not a 1/5. The other good part was the continental breakfast which was limited but still above what I expected. The rooms were not clean and I put pictures of the mold that can be found in the bathroom. It was so disgusting to see as a healthcare professional that I bought a bleach spray on my own to see if the black was truly mold and it went away after I sprayed the bleach. Then the bed sheets were not clean and had stains on them as well. I'm not sure if the cleaning staff is not using the right products but you can see how it doesn't seem like the bathrooms and probably the carpets are cleaned. The price of the rooms are cheap, so maybe that has to do with it not being clean and you get what you pay for. Probably wouldn't recommend to other customers.

On January 27,2024 I stay at the Clover hotel with my family…. my son who has autism had a accident(poop himself)I did clean up the accident with the towels the were provided. I threw the towels in the trash because it had poop on them so on January 31,2024 when I called to ask about my deposit the manager said it was taken because of three towels with poop on them…which the towels were in the trash….meaning they went into the trash can to take them out…which is weird to me because why would you want to keep towels with poop on them. The manager said “I tired to hide the towels by trashing them” which isn’t true I thought I was doing them a favor by throwing them away! The manager is very RUDE and unprofessional! The housekeeping manager is also RUDE. They took $100 because of three towels with poop on them hopefully they didn’t use them again. I wouldn’t stay there ever again!

Went for a game weekend. Saturday morning 930 am NO HOT WATER! (Not broken, we were told to wait a bit for it to come we waited over an hour and it never came back-had to take ice cold shower-totally unacceptable. Upon reporting to front desk, we were moved to another room for our second night (fine) but they only comped us $50 on a way over inflated room price to begin with. Very disappointed, poor customer experience all the way around. Do better.

No bed bugs. Got a poolside room with a patio, which was great for a smoker. A family of ducks lives in the courtyard, which was a great pleasure! Breakfast was also a nice surprise serving biscuits and gravy. Air was ice cold with no smell. Will stay again when we visit next time.

Beautiful hotel. Caring and considerate staff. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Coffee in the lobby started full and hot. Bed and pillows perfectly fluffy and comfortable. Plenty of dresser and closet space. Nice size bathroom. Overall wonderful overnight experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The bar just opened w a select beer in bottle choices and restaurant was closed. The pool closed at 10. I checked in at 9:10 pm. These things were not clear on Expedia. They are dog friendly and only charge $50. I would stay there again, the price was also very reasonable-

We stayed here for a Notre Dame game and it was perfect, and reasonably priced. The best part was the bar manager, I believe his name was Mario. It will be even better when they serve food at the bar. We would def stay again.

This place was amazing for the price. The room was clean and had a lot of room to move around. The front desk was always helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable. I would be returning again.

Everything is great, except some TV units don't allow you to hook up a hdmi as the TV won't recognize the device. A bring your own device kinda thing. Quite a shame really. Really nice staff, love the bed, but dang it.

WORST MANAGED HOTEL IN MICHIANA. THEY LITERALLY KEPT MY DEPOSIT OVER A SHEET STAIN! I GAVE THE NIGHT GAL A $50 TIP FOR BEING HELPFUL AND MANAGERS TURN AROUND AND KEEP MY $100 DEPOSIT! THE CARPET IS OUTDATED FROM 1990’S THE ROOMS ARE DISGUSTING AND THEY USING BIKE LOCK TO LOCK THE POOL DOORS! MANAGERS GOT SALTY OVER DIRTY SHEETS! BEEN STAYING AT HOTELS FOR 20 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD A HOTEL KEEP MY DEPOSIT! MANAGER ACTED LIKE HE GETTING INCENTIVIZED PAY TO KEEP DEPOSITS BY THE WAY HE TREATED US AND TALKED DOWN TO US! UNPROFESSIONAL IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!
