A Beautiful walk along the river!!! A perfect place to go for a romantic stroll or a family outing. Parking is cheap and can also be paid via ‘Ringo’ app. A few bridges connecting the river in order to cross to the other side and “do a loop”. If your adventurous you can walk to a McDonalds (4 min walk) and grab an ice cream 🍦 . You also get a phenomenal view of the Nottingham Forest Football ground (Just to clarify I am not a football fan and don’t follow or support any teams). Highly recommended place to go for a Sunday evening stroll with your love one(s). 👫

Lovely walk along the river, playing fields and memorial gardens. Ducks, geese and swans all around.

An excellent play park for small people, has a bit of everything including a mini road layout for riding (or running) around on. As play parks go, this one impressed me - and was much liked by my son! Nice addition having the paddling pool area as well... we disn't go in but it looked good following the walk in the sun from the city centre!

I love this place for age 4-8's bring your bike or scooter for the (fake) road and traffic lights... kids love it

Great place to take kids with scooter etc good selection of swings , shame about the pool no longer in service. Great place to take picnic along side the canal/River.

My 5 year old daughter and I took a few steps into the Victoria Embankment and stopped when it started to rain. We hid out under the footbridge until the rain stopped (5 minute wait). After that, we went home as my daughter didn't feel like going further inside. Before all this misadventure, we saw a few swans swimming in the River Trent.

Great place for a walk, scooter or bike ride. Main road closed off to cars now. The park is great with a really cool play area for kids with road markings roundabouts and zebra crossing. All good practice.

Really fun place for children: very big, and so much to do! Also, the bike/scooter track is like a road and roundabout, and that's good for children starting to learn about road safety!
