Lovely little independently run bar. Great cocktails 🍸. At reasonable prices, especially if you go during happy hour times. Served by friendly, helpful staff. Give it a try and support local.

Can't recommend it enough! The new menu is so unique, I don't know anywhere else like them in Notts. Would particularly recommend the Red Dead Daiquiri and Under The Tea, but honestly every drink I've tried here has been a win.

Great service from Joey and cocktails made by Alex, came with my boyfriend for his birthday and they got him a free shot of ghostrider (which is a shot on fire) was so cool and tasted awesome. Thank you again was a lovely little touch for my boyfriends birthday. Definitely recommend this place and would come again. Great atmosphere, fab music and customer Service was outstanding. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I absolutely love this bar! There's a fabulous selection of cocktails with some quirky ingredients you probably won't find elsewhere. During Happy Hour, most of the drinks are £6 which is an absolute steal. The bar itself has such a fun vibe with the tiki theme. It's a small cosy place, perfect for an afternoon meet with friends or for the start of an evening of drinks. The staff are also super. Very friendly and happy to recommend drinks or explain the menu. My favourite drink of the day has to be the Under The Tea. It's rum based milk tea which tastes slightly custard like but not too sweet. I love that it comes with popping tapioca pearls and in a conch shell glass. If you love bubble tea, you should definitely try this one. One hundred percent recommend and can't wait to go back to try more of the menu.

This is an amazing bar. The bartender Alex was extremely friendly and I had a wonderful night with my friends. The drinks were impeccable and the atmosphere was to die for. Everyone was utterly friendly and welcoming in addition to the comfortable seating and ambient lighting. I will definitely be visiting again and I am very glad to have stumbled across this exquisite bar. The music entirely added to the fabulous atmosphere and although I was being quite rowdy, the staff did not see this as too much of a problem and were fully accommodating. 10/10 would visit again. Love it here.

Came here new years eve and would definitely come back. Drinks look and taste amazing but the service topped it off! Joey was very attentive and helped us all get the right drink! Cheers Joey!!!

Great place to go, and a must-visit when in Nottingham. Went on a Saturday night, and the place was lively, with fantastic music and friendly service. Situated down Hurt’s Yard means it has a “secret” charm to it. Had the American Beauty cocktail, which is served in a small bath tub, while my friend had Ariel’s Conch, served in a seashell. Student discount, too! For a nice drink with friends, or a date location, this place should be a choice.

Amazing hidden gem! First time here and their menu cocktails are amazing! Each one a show and well worth the money. Manager was so friendly and great at putting us at ease and recommending drinks for first timers. Would love to go again next time we're in Notts. The music was modern and a great atmosphere!

Stepped into a very friendly welcome and got seated to a nice upstairs table. Was explained about each cocktail in detail regarding sweetness, strength and taste. Amazing menu, tacos look great but haven’t tried yet. Will definetly recommend and I’ll be coming back for sure!

I went there last night and absolutely loved the atmosphere. Alex was the only staff member there and even though he had not just me and my friends to deal with, but also other customers, his customer service is great. The cocktails are amazing and unique, and students get a happy "hour" night a few days a week, so cocktails are relatively cheap. Will definitely visit again!

Took us long enough to stumble across this one! Absolutely amazed by the place, amazing selection of cocktails, great vibe and reasonable pricing. Our server was Martina was an absolute delight. Definitely coming back for more!

Stumbled upon this awesome little place last night. They have some of the best cocktails I've ever tasted! Unique flavours and well presented. The staff were lovely and welcoming too. Really neat little bar! I would absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for some decent, tasty and well made cocktails.

Watched the guy not even measure and it was a drop of rum. Tasted like fruit juice. Even at 'happy hour' we paid 7 quid for this. Don't get ripped off. It used to be good but they've changed their menu.

Fantastic cozy little Tiki Bar. The cocktails are levels above most bars with really interesting ingredients, homemade liqueurs and freshly made juices. Staff more than happy to answer all my cocktail geek questions too! Will definitely return. Prices very reasonable too.

First time here at Tropichol. A very cool little hidden away cocktail bar. It a to very dark and moody atmosphere which is great to have a private time. The service is great we were greeted by a friendly staff member and then another staff member came to our table and explained the menu to us with some recommendations. The menu is fun with lots of variety and some great twists on some classics. We didn’t eat here but the menu looks banging. Would deffo recommend to a friend. Shout out to Joey too 👍👍👍
