Never visited here before and I wasn't disappointed. My friend had booked a Groupon voucher for Afternoon tea, it was fantastic. We had the choice between two cocktails but we both opted for the Martin. We were also given the choice of tea, as they didn't have Assam I selected English breakfast tea mix. The selection of food that was bought out to us was fabulous, much better than other venues I have visited. There was a lot of detail in the presentation. If you have something to celebrate I would definitely recommend this as a venue. If you don't book through Groupon it does cost slightly more but you do get more choice of cocktails. Don't forget to book as tines are limited for the service of afternoon tea

went to the casino last night Friday 5th August we had been enjoying a wonderful day , my son was graduating at the university at 4pm a really special day , we had a very enjoyable meal at Georges after where I had 2 rum and cokes so around 10pm we thought we would have a flutter before going to bed relatively early at the crowne plaza opposite . When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly chap at the desk who joked with us about asking for proof of age for me , I'm 55 and then obviously asked for my sons id who is 21. We passed comments about being 16 weeks apart in age with the chap and turned to go in when the bouncer turned and said I can't let you in because you are drunk. The chap behind the counter shook his head and said no she's not , I thought he was joking the man behind the counter looked very uncomfortable. I do not know what was going on there , why they did not want us in there if I was drunk I would say it's a fair cop but I was clearly sober , please Mr Alea look at your film footage, maybe you need to re think who you employ and your business model we were only trying to spend our money in your establishment and have some light entertainment after a wonderful day , unfortunately you really spoilt it.

Alea casino is one of a kind. Everyone friendly, the staff, the players and the non talkative dealers. Atmosphere is brilliant, not too busy but busy enough to give that experience. They do events on giveaways when they can which is a nice little touch when i visit. Drinks were surprising cheaper then everywhere else. Games selection, you got pretty much everything, roulette, blackjack, 3 card poker, jackpot features for blackjack and 3 card poker, slots machine with a jackpot prize and machines for roulette incase you shy from the tables. Casino is medium/big with a well clean toilet and nice furnitures to sit on when you want to take a break and watch the sports or take a small break on their outside smoking area.

My Son and his partner took me there for a meal. Food was amazing. Staff attentive . Swift service and so much attention to detail.

Meal at the restaurant was excellent. The waiting staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Made the special occasion even better. Well done all.

It's a lovely casino, small but such a nice place to be. The staff are fantastic, friendly and very helpful.

Very friendly, genuine staff who take an interest. Reasonable drink prices and excellent food. Seriously, try one of the pizzas. Clean toilets - always - and including the disabled version - like literaly relevant to me as a disabled dude who can't walk. You can feel safe and comfortable here and have a good time too. :)

Great vibe, staff, service and players. Probably the best cash poker venue in the city (games every day, lowest rake, progressive promo, pro dealers, friendly managers, all the cash desk facilities you may need, membership discounts for food and drink as well as a decent points system). I feel genuinely welcome here, any time of the day.

Bar Esquina back doing Latin nights on Fridays and Saturdays. Great music and venue for salsa, bachata and merengue. Alea casino staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Always love going to the casino but remember everyone only bet what you can afford to lose, but hopefully you might have a little win.

Just read the photo article of this casino!! How they swindle customers out of there hard earn money. While this casino was breaching there license systematically on a ground breaking scale!! Even receiving a fine of 13 million pounds, Beware of Maxine gibbons who is a venue director at Manchester 235 casino who is a racist and a compulsive lier to I have experienced first hand.

Whilst not that experienced at gaming, I thoroughly enjoyed it (despite coming away losing). Table staff are friendly and patient too. They take time to answer any questions you may have as a novice. Just be aware, all tables have different "minimum stakes", but these do start from £1.

Went the other day. It was empty but it was during the day time. Maybe 1pm. Me and the Mrs was going to have a go for my birthday but because it was literally empty we changed our mind as there was no atmosphere
