Stayed a night at the Tudor House as part of a boys weekend. If your not fussed about cleanliness or impeccable hygiene this hotel is fine for the price. Did the room look half decorated? yes Was there stains? yes, but the price was good and the room was roomy and comfortable with a great bathroom. Staff were welcoming as well. Unfussy travelers - this could be a spot for you.

The hotel is NOTHING like the pictures on the various booking sites. Our room, while spacious, was abysmal. Cons: Hotel operates under 2 names (Ebers Hotel online and The Tudor House Hotel in the building), Damp walls, peeling wallpaper, questionable stains on the walls, dirty and damaged flooring, a suspicious powder coating the bottom of the one mug in the room, Also serves as a halfway house, Cables hanging from the ceiling, Very noisy, The room and hallways smelled like a mixture of sweat, damp, stale cigarette smoke, and weed Pros: Pleasant(ish) staff It was warm We also saw the hotel receiving a visit from plain clothes police on our way out, and discovered they had had multiple visits the week prior. All in all, it is a cheap hotel for one night and you get what you pay for. Avoid this "hotel" unless you want your own horror story to share with friends.

The night desk manager was very helpful, our flight was delayed and he was up and ready when we finally pulled in at 1am. But the positives end there. The room was not what was pictured. It was in il-repair, stains and just dirty. Hopefully they put a little TLC into the place as it has a lot of potential.

AVOID !!!! Booked for a local sporting event on a recommendation from a local. Didn't even stay as we walked into "reception" passed the smack heads outside who were trying to fight with eachother and demanded a refund as we had previously told them we were traveling with young children when confirming the booking and at no point did it cross the woman's mind to make us aware it was a homeless shelter and maybe putting young children in accommodation with vulnerable adults was not a good idea. Shocking place and absolutely stunk of weed and ciggies in the entrance

Cheap and cheerful. The room woodwork and paintwork is quite poor but the room was very clean, beds lovely and comfy and clean. Fresh towels supplied, tea and coffee in the room. I just needed a bed for the night so this was perfect. To be fair you can't expect more for the price.

On a very busy road. Rooms are as basic as you get and not well presented. The kettle for tea and coffee didn't reach the plug! Carpets were stained and walls around the building are cracking, losing paint and some very odd stains on the paint

No shower curtain, suspicious stains on the bed, broken lock on bathroom, no soap, but it was cheap, the staff were friendly and there's a wetherspoons up the road so I guess it was perfect for a lads holiday

The worst hotel in Nottingham. The rooms are dated and quite dirty. The windows do not open or close properly. The customer service is non existent. Do yourself a favour and check in elsewhere!

Granted the bed was soft but sturdy so good for the back, parking was free and the room was huge even with a kitchen. However, it's all dated old and dirty, sticky floor and well just dirty. Quick stop or emergency booking price wise fine. But planned trip no chance.

Disgusting. Stayed for one night as a last minute situation, for approximately 7 hours we used this room as we wanted to leave as soon as possible. The window was boarded up, carvings into the walls, overpowering smell of weed, stains on the bed and a very small latching lock which didn’t fill us with great confidence at all resulting in a restless night. Not even worth the £50 paid.

Value was good but the rooms are in terrible condition. Mould and water damage on every wall. Electrics didn't work. Beds, linen and bathroom was quite clean though

It needs re innovating. It can be noisy. The employees are nice, but if you forget anything there better believe it’s gone

aka Ebers Hotel. Good and bad points. I'll start with the good: the room we had (4 singles, was only one left when we booked) was hence spacious. Dog was welcomed so that's rare, indeed the selling point. Mattresses were comfortable and room was warm (plug in heater supplied was not needed, mid-October22). Bathroom was newly refurbished (flooring, walls).Well-located for where in Notts we were. Tea n coffee, kettle, TV were all provided. Reception guy was friendly and welcoming. Bad points were numerous but at effectively ÂŁ20 a head per night you cant expect too much... No bathroom mirror, no shower curtain nor cubicle, and no floor drain so would probably become a slip hazard were you to shower. Towels provided & floor mat, but no soap/shower gel/shampoo provided (basics!). We set up the dog's crate in there n he was fine. The ceiling had badly stained cracks in it, and in the morning we found water coming down the wall (was a top floor room) - was raining so that obv needs sorting. No cupboard, no drawers. The armchair had a broken rear leg so that could've led to injury if sat on unaware. Wooden slat blinds, where 1 missing slat was "replaced" with a couple of bits of white A4 sellotaped to it (LOL). I think they put up homeless folk (or a halfway house?), so providing a much-needed service, but obv some unsavoury types come with that territory, caveat emptor. Inside is rather labyrinthine so get specific directions to your room! In summary: you get what you pay for, manage your expectations.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Needs a bit of a spruce up but the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The receptionist was welcoming too. A brilliant affordable hotel not too far from the centre.

Rejected the first room it was filthy. The second room wasn't much better. Hallways are filthy as well. Staff were friendly. Definitely would not go back!

I needed a last minute place to stay and this was the only thing available after reading the reviews I was skeptical as I got to the hotel I was greeted by Mark at reception he was absolutely lovely superb customer service nothing was too much trouble I had a nice clean room after staying the night I can't understand all the bad reviews the hotel is under refurbishment so yes there are older rooms but there are also newer rooms if you are in Nottingham for work or leisure and you need a place that's not too expensive try this hotel

No shower curtain, black mold in the bathroom, fire alarm went off at 3:30am because someone was “cooking” in their room… 🤔avoid this place at all cost.

The place is so run diwn. Our room was over the road. God knows why they would put anyone in a room opposite the night club that has loud music on until 1am. The carpets are filthy. There is no shower screen just a curtain. No shower mat. No mat on the floor to avoid slipping. The shower curtain allows the floor to get very wet causing a slipping hazard. The stairs upto the rooms has carpet missing. The walls are dirty. Our floor is uneven and odd to walk on. The windows cannot be opened. They are not double glazed. There is no blind in the bathroom just a frosted window. The windows are literally on the brink of falling out as so rotten. The beds are however clean and quite comfortable. We had 3 single beds. I know its a budget hotel but it's gone far passed being acceptabke. It smells musty. The staff however are very pleasant. Total lack of sleep due to loud music and people enjoying themselves. Would not stop here again.

Wasn't a pleasant stay at all, glad I was only booked in for one night, mold on the walls, bed sheets were dirty. Window wouldn't even open and they had no fans available, it was a hot night. Staff were polite, tried many times to open the windows, one was successfully but we had to wedge a block of wood to keep it from shutting which at night wasn't the best but we needed some air in there, this hotel has the potential to be a beautiful hotel with a little bit of time and effort put into it. WILL NOT STAY AGAIN

Value for money, centrally located, good, attentive, friendly staff, clean. No wonder they're always fully booked.
