Very satisfied with everything!!!!!! From reception, room, breakfast and staff… excellent breakfast staff~ friendly, quick and smart!!! Free parking and space for diamond members too, that’s the first!!!!! One of the best Hilton brand we have stayed! It was very quick when we request extra cotbed over the phone! Arrived within 10 mins! Very valued stay and I got to choose rooms on app a day before check in and even let me choose a queen suite… my kids enjoyed it very well. 5 star stay for sure!!!!!!

So very impressed with this lovely hotel. We had an overnight stay, the check in was smooth and we were given warm cookies a very welcome treat. The room was very clean, very spacious with very nice amenities. Huge shower, super comfy beds (would love to know the make I would love a mattress like this at home). Very pleasant staff, love the glass elevator and the moat around the hotel. We will definitely stay again

Good clean rooms. Good breakfast. Good housekeeping. No restaurant and the food in the bar is not good. But lovely place to stay if you dine out.

Stayed here a few times over the years, most recently with our pet dog in tow and the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful. We weren’t sure if we would be bringing the dog, so the room was made pet friendly at short notice and we were all made really welcome.

Although this is an older hotel, the wait staff, host, and everybody at the Doubletree are very knowledgeable about the area and friendly. The rooms are not big on space, but make up for it in various areas. Also The rooms are a bit dark and not well lit, but the large windows allow for ample sunlight.

They have a new wing which I was allocated a room. The receptionist said go outside and in the door in the corner of the Car park. She forgot to mention a card swipe post some feet away from the actual door which was not seen in the dark and the rain. That entailed a ride up in a lift in the main building and a walk down three flights of stairs to the room in question. WHO PLANNED THAT??

Recently stayed at this hotel. Nice smart room. Location of hotel is ok. Near a busy road, so you can hear lots of traffic but a plus of that is your not too far from restaurants, attractions etc.

awful showering facilities - had to stay there for one night and I literally slept and left. The shower-room was full of black mould, grout was missing from the tiles, the ceiling was peeling. I complained to the manager and was offered up excuses even after photos supported the fact the room should not be available to guests. They were aware that there was grouting to be done but as a manager you double check the room is safe, as the grouting away from the floor tiles would've been enough to slice someones foot. Shame as the reception area is lovely. Complaining gets you nowhere.

Love staying here on business . Rooms are lovely , staff very helpful and the ducks are cute ☺️ 🦆 Gym is ok but not great - is someone is on the one and only treadmill - I use PureGym which is 10 mins drive away

I stayed here on Saturday 11th March 23 Very disappointed as was not told you have homeless people in the rooms. We paid good money to stay here. There were kids running screaming and crying up and down the corridors also breakfast was cold, had a man ask us for cigarettes I did not feel safe i stayed in the Hilton at the nec 2 weeks ago and was so different and lovely. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone I think I paid a lot of money for the experience I received!!!!

If you want a place to treat yourself, then this will be right up your street. The quality of our room was far better than we have experienced in a long time. The food (we had breakfast and an evening meal) was excellent. From the moment we booked in to when we left, the staff were friendly and helpful with our questions.

A fantastic hotel and definitely one we’ll return to. Our rooms was large and modern with a great bathroom. There were lots of little touches such as leaving us fresh towels and whatnot without having to ask when we skipped maid service one day.

Brilliant hotel just off the M1 for those travelling cross-country, whether for business or leisure. We travel England to see family and DoubleTree Nottingham Gateway is perfectly located for us to stop en route and have a rest, rather than travel the full length of the country in one go. The service is amazing, especially Delia on our most recent visit, whilst the honours program has allowed us to get upgrades to larger rooms, free bottles of water and free Wi-Fi. The quality of the rooms is outstanding and the general hotel is clean and modern. We always recommend the hotel to people travelling and always book when travelling to the midlands or further.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Hotel is just off the M1; so ensure not to miss the turn. Hotel has a one way system with parking which is free. Comfortable beds. Air-con/heating works which is a plus. Food really enjoyable. Foyer area was nice and clean. Lot's of natural lighting coming in. We would definitely stay here again.

Good location, and bar and reception area lovely. Rooms slightly tired looking but bathroom great size and staff were welcoming. Fair price for easy link into Nottingham too, tram around 6 mins walk.

The service was great. Breakfast was delicious. The lobby and bar looked very grand. The rooms are worn and could do with refreshing. Also there wasn't any plug sockets near the mirrors for hair styling, and no plugs near the bed to charge your phone overnight. Location was very close to a busy road so you could hear the traffic going past.

Nice looking hotel from the outside and lovely on the inside, looked recently refurbished. The bar was nice and drinks reasonably priced. Room was beautifully decorated albeit slightly dark - could do with some additional lighting. Biggest issue with the hotel room was the bed. The mattress was so squeaky whenever you moved, must have been old and needed replacing - very uncomfortable. The pillows had no support either, not a great sleep and not great when the hotel is charging £170 a night. The hotel also seems to be housing social housing residents in between properties, maybe they can confirm in their reply…

Everything is fine, new rooms, big tv , very rich breakfast, but during the cold seasons “Heating” doesn’t exist, u might get a bit of heating before bed, even though u have an thermostat in your room , you still have to beg them to turn it on , and after several calls they will bring u an electric radiator that squeaks like a frying pan. Im pretty sure the heating is turned off for energy save!

To be honest, the room and stay were OK, the breakfast was good, and the staff at breakfast were great and willing to assist. For me, it was the welcome the night before. I have stayed in a lot of hilton hotels, and I feel very lucky to have had the chance, too. But I have never been greeted in such a flat way. I normally walk in to a very happy member of staff wishing me a good day and offering me the welcome.e cookie and drinks vouchers for the bar being g a diamond member, this vist was can I help, her is your room card and cookie, no drinks voucher, when I asked I was told very abruptly we do not do them, and double tree hilton do not give out such vouchers, I know it sounds small but it was like I was not wanted at this hotel. And it was such a hardship to even administrate me. It was just not the welcome I was used to. Like I say may seem small, but when everywhere else is very welcoming, it's not great. Also, when my colleague checked in, he was asked if he wanted bonus points or breakfast, and he opted for the breakfast, only to be hounded by staff at breakfast to pay his bill..not good.

I tell the kids that you have to try the good stuff to know what the mundane and average is. This hotel is the good stuff. Cookie on check in and good rooms with excellent bed. Breakfast was really good also. Well secluded from the main road and parking was free.

Stayed here for two nights. The main building looks very elegant clean and tidy front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was of a nice size for the two of us comfortable bed, TV and kettle with tea and coffee. The best part of the room was the shower, very good water pressure and temperature. The room did have signs of damage, the wardrobe doors were damage and would not open on of the bed side lights did not work. Was very disappointed with the cooked breakfast. There is very good selection of breakfast items from traditional cooked English breakfast to continental breakfast and hot and cold drinks. Unfortunately I found the buffet English breakfast tho cooked was cold when eating as if the hot plate it was kept on was not able to keep the food hot. Everything else for breakfast was very good tho. I would stay here again but I would definitely look to get breakfast else where

Third time we have stayed here. Had an issue with the cleanliness of the bed sheets which was dealt with quickly by manager. Also want to give credit to the breakfast staff Nita and Oi for their friendly, warm service. My omelettes were beautifully cooked each morning and a wide selection of items to choose from for breakfast.

We had a Funeral reception there today. Staff were amazing and accommodating.even though the caterers didn't have a vegan option, the hotel staff ( one in particular) made sure it was dealt with. Can't praise them enough we sat round for hours after we were made to feel so comfortable. thanx guys for helping to give my Uncle an amazing send off

Booked this hotel on our wedding weekend, and to be honest, everything was very average. We have been welcomed with view of monster can and Costa coffee by the entrance, it wasn't cleaned till next day. On the first day, breakfast was just amazing, I really enjoyed freshly baked croissants and fruit salad, but next day the same food tasted less fresh, and I am sure it was from last day. My PJ's bottoms disappeared from our room straight after cleaning, and after asking receptionist, no help was provided. Cleaning lady had to wrap it together with dirty washing. We have been offered a special price of 39.99 for bottle of prosecco as a wedding present from the hotel 😂 nice experience, but on the end of the day I wouldn't go there again!

Location is far from city center. Bus stop is at the entrance. Lobby is small, but few tables outside if weather permits. Breakfast is ok, but the welcoming lady at the door was a plus to make one's day special. Staff was cooperative. Front desk wasn't cooperative in finding another room which wasn't according to our expectations and the price. Having a couch as a bed wasn't acceptable neither comfortable...we were not happy at all with the setting of a room for 3 There was a wedding in one of the days of our 4 days stay, it was a mess!! Thanks.

Excellent hotel. Good location, great staff, clean & tidy room. Upon entering you feel like you're entering a 5-star hotel which was a very nice surprise. The room was spotless and spacious. I really appreciate the shower having the option of a ceiling mounted shower head or a hand-held one. Parking was plentiful although it's a little difficult to see some of the lines as they're quite faded but it's not a problem really. I'll definitely be staying here again & I recommend everyone to use this hotel.

Fantastic stay here for 2 nights at the end of July. We needed 2 rooms together with teenage daughters so this set up is excellent for us. Beautiful hotel, comfortable bed, luxurious bathrooms and fittings to the rooms. Breakfast was fantastic, there was a wedding the night we arrived we were not disturbed by any noise but the breakfast guests next morning meant it was busy but there were enough staff to serve everyone and parties were sitting together. The breakfast was fantastic, great self service cooked breakfast, toast, continental and also a fab pancake maker that our girls loved! The breakfast manager Anji was great, her team were busy and efficient ensuring that the supplies were fresh and topped up. They even make an omelette fresh for you with ingredients if your choosing, that was excellent. Overall a fab stay! Would definitely return and consider other double tree hotels if this is the standard.

Main thing we found here on entry it's confusing working out lighting, how to turn up heating etc. Rooms very dark, staff very helpful. Meals very nice - not much on main menu however meal very sizable, to the fact there's too much. Buses and tram handy, times every 10mins so once you find bus stops they're handy.

Have stayed a night in the hotel. The check in was fast and the receptionist was very sweet in offering us cookies - which were very delicious. The room was nice and with everything you need. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The only minus side was that our room was facing the main road which was very noisy even during the midnight and we have to sleep with earplugs on. There are many bus stops closes by and it takes 15-20 mins by bus to the city center if you don't have a car. There are some fast food places around and also a small supermarket.

Lovely hotel, the best we have stayed in within the chain. Room was first class within the new wing. Staff polite, friendly, helpful and cheerful. Special shout-out to Anji and her team at the breakfast station, especially the girls making omelette’s.

Will definitely stay here again. Special shoutout to the Breakfast Team, the pinnacle of happy employees who love their jobs. Well done Team. Everyone else were friendly and welcoming. Room we stayed was new, fresh and clean. Plenty of parking and location is not far from the University of Nottingham.

A very comfortable, well appointed room. Check in was easy - we were messaged via text when we had been in our room a few minutes to check if everything was OK which we appreciated as being timely but unobtrusive. Parking was free. The breakfast was well cooked and tasty. I would note that the entrance to the hotel comes very quickly after the roundabout so you need to watch out for it.

It's really a lovely friendly place. We really like it here . Our breakfast was lovely and Angie greeted us so kindly. We then popped to our room and a lovely lady tidied our room we feel so well cared for. All the staff are so welcoming. We are definitely coming back here and hope the staff realise how they contribute to our stay..they are a lovely team...

Firstly the receptionist at night called Peter, very very rude. My wife called for room service for water bottles and he replied why can’t you come downstairs, she stated in 39 weeks pregnant and his reply was is it hard for you to walk down when your pregnant. He tried charging us £8 for a water bottle 😭 so rude have never experienced this type of service in my life. Secondly The room was not hygienic at all. Sofa had stains all over it so we asked for a bed sheet to cover, bathroom was horrible with bits of noodle in there. Dust all over the corners and food on window. Absolutely disgrace for Hilton. I have had better service staying at travel lodge and premier inn. Do not recommend Hilton to anyone. Save your money and go to Delta Hotel by Marriott. They give you unlimited water free of charge room service anytime with no charge. We even got charged for the milk and sugar for the tea😭😭

Popped in here for a coffee on a thoroughly wet and miserable day and was greeted so warmly. We were regular visitors for meals when the hotel was it's predecessor and haven't been at all since it became part of the Hilton family. Only stayed in the bar area where there was tons of seating, ideal for people staying there, or meeting there or like us just dropping in! Instead of the coffee we planned on we ended up ordering main meals and was surprised these were served pretty much all day. The meals arrived quickly and were very nice. The lady at the bar was really lovely. Very welcoming, helpful and friendly all the while presenting a very professional approach. Thank you!

The rooms here are nice and spacious, at reception they give you a cookie which is normally warm. Everyone seems fairly friendly and there is a bar and restaurant as part of the hotel. There's a cool glass elevator too... I find the beds just a tiny bit hard but that's just my preference.
