500 pounds for 3 nights, you share a bathroom with strangers and my window view was of someone's back door. The staff is friendly although they struggled to understand me a little, but I blame my accent more than anything. I felt like a guest. Upon arrival they required a surprise deposit I was not made aware of during booking. An extra £40 that I never saw back. I ended up sleeping on at my boyfriends on my second night.

I didn't receive deposit back. Owner was informed that I am going to check out early morning and he hasn't prepared for my deposit back. He has never sent to me back money. Obviously he wanted to cheat me. Definitely not recommend

HORRIBLE Was promised a double bed and got given a single. Room was tiny for the absured prices. My friend needed a place to leave his bag for a bit so came to drop it off and In doing this they kept their £50 deposit!! Most absured was told the toilet stopped working when I checked before I left and was working perfectly fine!! Please don’t come to this place Its a complete waste of money and especially in Nottingham when u want to be able to bring friends or girls round for a bit and it’s just now allowed. Will never come here again.

Repulsive!!!!!!!!!! Host was weird asking me for my number. For some reason they kept a £60 deposit and when I tried calling them about it they hung up. Host was very strange I have to say my room was open while I was bringing in my shopping at 11pm and he came in asking me if I was enjoying the customer service. I had no working wifi for 5 days as a man who works online all day this ended up to me losing my job. This place was disgraceful and honestly a massive waste of money. Lastly, as soon as I came in to the room I noticed that they hadn’t cleaned my toilet or the bath as someone’s bath water was still there. Overall I was absolutely appalled and would never come back here again.

Checking in was more hassle than it needed to be, the overhead fan only works when the ceiling lights are on, a neighbouring building alarm sounded all night. All in all, not an experience we want to repeat!

Nice clean room ,unfortunately if your a light sleeper I wouldnt not recommended, due to the bar underneath the property loud music playing into the early hrs

I truly awful and very over priced hotel (more like a dodgy Bnb without the breakfast). The list of negative points is huge. The second star is only because I did sleep well.

My mother booked a family room for her, my brother and I recently for £149 through Expedia. Although the room was big enough and very clean there are some downfalls hence my 2 star rating. a) The car park is around £15 for 24hrs even after paying £149 for the room. Bit of a kick in the teeth in my opinion. b) There is no reception so you have to be specific with your check-in and check-out times which did annoy me slightly. c) The price of £149 for 1 night on a Tuesday would suggest a 5* resort however this is more like a 90s bed & breakfast with a lick of paint. d) Poor quality bed - could feel the springs all evening. If this accommodation was £60/night, I would be rating it 4* however how they can justify £149 is totally beyond me.

Had to leave on the second day as the bedroom windows wouldn't open, felt extremely claustrophobic as the room was not aerated. Reception guy was extremely rude, I had to carry my luggage up narrow stairs and he just stood there watching. Also there is a hidden £50 deposit just in case of damages which is odd. Would not recommend.

Little tricky to find as the Robin 7 sign is quite small. Just a plaque next to the door, walked past it twice. Very central location, couple minutes walk to the town center. The room was a little dated and the TV had poor signal but it was clean and good for the price / location. Only complaint was that the room was very warm and the road a little loud to have the windows open. Had a very sweaty sleep

The price seemed alright for not being far from the city center, restaurants, Nottingham castle etc. but.. we had to pay a £30 deposit and about £20 extra to have a bathroom in our room in stead of having one across the hallway, both of these prices weren't mentioned when we made the reservation. When we asked about this he said we should have made a reservation for the "ensuite" rooms in a demeaning tone, as if we purposely wanted to have a bathroom outside of the room. Who would seriously NOT want a bathroom inside their room? Also the 10am check out was kind of early since our train left around noon. We could opt-in for a late check out for something like £10 but we kindly refused as they seem to care more about squeezing every dime out of the guests opposed to keeping them happy. I will most likely not return here as there are better hotels in the area for similar prices.

Great location, reasonable price and despite the hot water not working on the first night they fixed it in the morning :) Outside of that we were given clean towels immediately when we left them outside as advised. There was internet and plenty of hot drinks we could make in room. Thanks for the lovely stay! Leo

The location was great. Very close to all amenities. Clean, tidy and comfortable room with an en-suite bathroom. Small fridge in the room a big plus. Staff were friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Quirky but not quaint. Duty manager a bit strange. Very noisy overnight, early morning. Compulsory £50 extra deposit required on checking in!
