Went for the bottomless brunch yesterday - a little uncertain as I'd read conflicting reviews. Times all given on the email, obviously they need time to set up etc, but it was very well done, distanced, we were told clearly of the arrangements, when it was last orders etc. It was managed really effectively in the time of Covid - staff were very helpful and worked very hard to make it work. Great atmosphere in the basement, music, mood lightning. The pizza was great - but then it always is at Das Kino - the cocktails were delicious and they were kept flowing, the entertainment with the DJ and the magnificent Kitty Tray was really enjoyable. We had a great time and I'm really, really pleased we did it.

Visited on Tues 13th August with my partner, taking advantage of the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme. On arriving, we were asked to use the Track and Trace link on our phone. We were swiftly seated and advised menus available online. Easy to access but difficult if you don't have a phone, but I guess majority of clientèle would. We ordered 2 large pizzas and 2 sides of differently topped tater tots. Food and drink was all brilliant. Servers were all lovely, friendly and attentive. Good atmosphere and everywhere was very clean and good controls for covid in place. We were able to get our leftovers boxed up to take home. Definitely recommend. Next time I'm definitely getting some loaded fries though, I saw some coming out and they looked delicious :D Meal worked out so reasonable as well with the offers.

It's been a long time since this place was the Old Vic. First time we'd been here as we don't tend to visit this part of town too often. Very nice place indeed ! Pleasant staff, lovely, clean surroundings and a nice atmosphere. We only popped in for a 'swift half' to see what it was like - ended up staying a couple of hours and having fab pizzas there too! 2 for 1 pizzas at that (both have to be the same). Good selection of beers, ales and ciders(try the Berliner Pilsner!) and great food, I could have had 1 of everything! We'll be back, thanks guys!

I can say it was loud, food looked basic but good, the house whisky is smooth. Would I go there again no

Came yesterday for the bottomless brunch, first time for all 4 of us and we had such an amazing time. Kitty was fabulous and engaged with all the parties there. We were all up dancing and doing the Congo. Very good value for money, pizzas were tasty and there was a choice of cocktails to choose from, which was great as most bottomless brunches only serve prosecco which I'm not a fan of. Special shout out to our waitress Evie, who was very friendly and attentive, she made sure we was all very well looked after.

Really disappointed with the treatment of a particular doorman. As we approached the door he happily let me and my sister through but refused my brother in law entry for being “too drunk”. My brother in law is disabled, has severe rheumatoid arthritis and has had numerous surgeries on his legs etc. The fact that we weren’t even given the chance to explain this (he just point blank refused to listen to us) before then being laughed at and just basically made to feel stupid. It was really embarrassing for us all and totally unnecessary. I get they have a job to do, but discrimination of any kind is unacceptable and they really need to know the difference between someone who is drunk and someone who is disabled. On a brighter note we walked around the corner to another bar and were greeted more appropriately. We will never put ourselves in that situation again to be made a fool of.

We did the now that's what I call brunch, bottomless. The venue was amazing on arrival, set up with prosecco on arrival and bottles of prosecco on the table. The staff and service was amazing! The pizzas were delicious and the choice of drinks was fantastic! Amazing atmosphere and entertainment too! We had lots of dietary requirements within the group and everyone was well catered for! We had the BEST time! Would love to come again and would recommend to anyone!

Ellie was amazing. My 18 yo had a drink before and was a bit worse for wear but Ellie was so amazing and showed us out the back door. She was so sympathetic and helpful. You just don't get staff like thatanymore. Worth her weight in gold.

Great for sisters hen do for boozy brunch. Music great and good drinks choices. Pizzas were quality unlike most brunches where they give you awful food and mostly drinks. Didn't have to wait for a drink and the staff were really friendly. Would recommend!

10 of us went for the bottomless brunch and it was FABULOUS! Had a brilliant time. Staff were all lovely, pizza was delicious and the music was incredible. Drag bingo was so much fun! Only reason I haven't given 5 stars is we didn't like any of the cocktails. They all had weird taste. But we had Coronas and carried on 😆

They cranked the music up to 87dB at about 6pm, making conversation impossible - we went elsewhere. Shame because the playlist was good.

Not great... This place needs to decide what it is, Fri/Sat nights it plays music as loud as a club, but there's no dance floor, just the space in front of the bar, so if you're sat at a table (like the majority of customers) you can't hear what people are saying. The staff are friendly, drinks are on the pricey side and has table tennis for hire.

Food was reasonably priced but poor quality. No flavour to Pizza, tastes shop bought. Nobody asked us if the food was OK nor did anyone clear our plates for at least 30 minutes after finishing. Restaurant was practically empty.

Great atmosphere, plenty of seating options and good music. Food is great and served quickly even at peak times. The pizza is a must.

Crowded, hot, no real ales and not the best service. We reserved a table as we were a big group, we arrived to find another group who were sat there refusing to move. When the staff finally asked them to move we were shown to a dirty table that had grease from food, and dirty glasses from the previous group. The food arrived but you don't get cutlery or plates so we had to eat with our fingers and off a dirty table. Napkins were supplied but not enough for all of us. I wouldn't choose to go back.

Been a few times. Upstairs bar is fun and offers ping pong etc. Downstairs they taylor for good well organised bottomless pizza and drink parties. I was impressed. Got everyone involved without being annoying. Used a propper northern drag act that was just the right amount of in your face blunt haha but did a great job with the DJ of making the event fun for all the different parties available. When i went it was a mix of birthdays, hen's etc. Any stag do's reading this if my visit is anything to go by you will be out numbered literally 10 to 1 *just saying*

Amazing pizza - if you love thin base and toppings not being overbaked then this is the place, my friend. Really good happy hour and 241 pizza deal and the decor is cool. Honestly, no complaints and full recommendation!

Went here to celebrate my Daughter’s 30th. I have to say Millie who was in charge of our cocktail making, was amazing. Such a lovely smiley person who made us all feel welcome with plenty of laughs. Nothing was too much for her. This girl deserves recognition for the dedication she puts into her work and for the lovely person she is. Was a lovely afternoon. We will definitely return
