👍👍 An amazing open space, with acres of green grass, trees and fields. Take a stroll around the large lake which is surrounded by woods and a conservation area were you can see many deer grazing, so don't forget your camera. Golfers play in the distance whilst deer roam in the grounds. The hall has so... People often mention park,

An amazing open space, with acres of green grass, trees and fields. Take a stroll around the large lake which is surrounded by woods and a conservation area were you can see many deer grazing, so don't forget your camera. Golfers play in the distance whilst deer roam in the grounds. The hall has some old stables which have been converted into a shop and cafe where you can sit in or relax outside and enjoy a well earned coffee. You must visit the Museum in the courtyard which has a working water pump, Then continue your walk, I recommend a good pair of boots or wellies as it's extremely wet & muddy at the moment. (February ) hopefully by April you can put your Trainers on and run around the Lake or take the Children on the playground before having a picnic. The Hall itself is a grand old building although not kept as original inside ( like a National a Trust property) it's well worth a look as it has some very interesting items inside ( The kids will enjoy too) Whatever you do, Enjoy your Visit!

This is another Jewel in Nottingham's Crown. This Park exudes beauty , history, adventure and exercise. I have visited several city parks around the country but Wollaton Park is up there with the best. Also as an avid cyclist there are routes for us which are more than a walk in the park!

Always very busy at weekend and in school holidays. Large selection of play equipment for children from toddlers to 12 years. Traditional swings slides rockers and climbing activities. Also rope swings. Benches and picnic tables for parents and carers to sit at . Also the 508 cafe named after the American paratroopers that were based in the park during WW2 . They sell hot drinks snacks or ice cream.

Enjoyed by both children! Plenty of bits for them to play on. Cafe and toilets also nearby - parking is pay and display.

the kids always love this park there is loads of stuff for them to play on and it's massive and suitable for children of all ages. its always busy and full of loads of other children, they could stay there for hours. they particularly like the big slide and the zipwire there is also a cafe of you get cold or hungry you can go in there, although it is a bit pricey. great day out at Wollaton park as always
