This place is fabulous! My son had his very first haircut with Ann Marie this week and I was extra nervous that he would have a toddler meltdown and that we would need to reschedule, especially since we were planning using clippers on the back and sides which can definitely be scary to a child who hasn’t experienced them. Ann Marie saw that my son was playing comfortably at their toy table so she brought her tools over to him and did his hair cut while he played with toys and watched shows on the tablet she provided. She had a great game plan of starting off with a bigger guard to get it done fast (in case he tapped out, so we would at least get something done) and then when he tolerated that she moved on to a shorter/cleaner look. She also gave me great tips on hair care for my daughter who is autistic and has very curly hair that is hard to manage with her sensory sensitivities. She took an adorable picture of my son and gave us a certificate and a lock of his hair as a keepsake, all for a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend Snipz Novato for your child’s first hair cut!!

We have 3 children under the age of 6 and scheduling any errands, especially haircuts can be a commitment. Have been here several times for haircuts now and realized how wonderful they were when we arrived for our scheduled appointments this week and all 3 children, ages 6, 4, & almost 2, were totally onboard with the haircuts. No stress. No frustrations. No tears. Know that may not seem like much but for a tired mom, it's everything. Grateful to have them in the community.

I have been taking my 3 year old son to Snipz for close to 2 years now and I have always been impressed by the quality , value and customer service. My son has had 3 different women cut his hair and each have been excellent- meaning they do a great job with the haircut itself, they communicate with me as well as with my son during the process, and they each have an excellent attitude dealing with the workload/ parents/ walk-ins/ unpredictability of cutting childrens hair! The salon is clean and has a nice waiting area with toys for the kids. Ive only had good experiences with both appointments and walk-ins. Highly recommended!

Snipz and Tracy are our go to every time! We always appreciate Tracys’s time, talent and professionalism. Our son is neurodiverse and Tracy and her colleagues always go above and beyond to accommodate him, even during their busiest hours. They always make sure our son gets a fantastic haircut in a warm and welcoming environment and we are very grateful.

I recently took my son to Snipz in Novato, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Hannah is great! She is not only listened attentively to what I wanted but also executed it flawlessly. The mohawk she gave my son is not only the coolest one he's ever had but also precisely what I envisioned. The atmosphere was child-friendly, making the entire haircutting process enjoyable for my son. I highly recommend this place for parents seeking a skilled and creative team that delivers fantastic results.

Our family have been coming here for years. 2 out of my 3 children have had their hair cut here (usually by Tracy) and my wife an I appreciate the friendly, clean atmosphere, demeanor of the stylists and the location is awesome with a TON of parking available. My youngest loves getting 'Bling Strings" (thin ribbon of colored foil string) done with her hair and I think it's a really cute touch that they offer. Everytime my youngest get her hair cut its a no tears event (amazing!) and she looks awesome every time! She always get compliments after a snipz visit. Tracy and my wife have developed a nice relationship and we love to come in and chat while getting a haircut. I'm really glad that a specialized business like this is around in the neighborhood and wish them all the best success in their endeavours!

Tracy is so kind and humorous and brilliant with kids; she is also the only person that can manage my son’s 6 cowlicks!

Our neurodiverse son had a bad experience at a different salon when he was very young, so it has been a pleasure for us to find Tracy at Snipz Novato who he has been comfortable with for years now. In addition to being friendly, reasonably priced and great with kids, I also appreciate that I feel confident in their running on time for the appointments.
