This is my favorite beerhouse in Novi Sad. It offers a fantastic variety of craft beers, a great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and an excellent location. I love spending my summer days here.

If you find yourself in Novi Sad make sure that you visit Gradska Pivnica. This pub offers an enchanting atmosphere, delightful homemade radler beer, and amazing dishes that will leave you craving for more, but you will me too full to continue eating. The first thing I noticed was its cheery and laid-back ambiance. The interior exuded a sense of warmth and conviviality, with wooden furnishings and soft lighting that invited guests to sit back, relax, and revel in the joys of good company and great food. When I ordered my drink, I decided to choose the Radler beer (which I later found out that is homemade), and little did I know that it would redefine my perception of the beverage. Its vibrant citrusy notes and refreshing effervescence were so enticing that, at first, I mistook it for a fruit juice. It really was mind-blowing. The menu was't large, but what they offered was more than enough. I opted for the fillet mignon and I even tried out the spicy chicken wings. The fillet mignon arrived perfectly cooked accompanied by a mushroom sauce and a side of creamy mashed potatoes. While the fillet mignon stole the show, the spicy chicken wings were not to be underestimated. Gradska Pivnica's specialty lies in its sausages, which I unfortunately didn't get to taste. What truly sets Gradska Pivnica apart, however, is the exceptional service provided by the friendly and attentive staff. They really had us feeling welcomed and valued. In conclusion, Gradska Pivnica in Novi Sad is a pub that deserves the highest accolades. From the mind-blowing homemade radler beer that surprises and delights, to the delectable dishes such as the fillet mignon and spicy chicken wings, this establishment promises a gastronomic adventure like no other. Coupled with a cheery and laid-back atmosphere and exceptional service, Gradska Pivnica is a must-visit for locals and tourists alike. Prepare to be captivated by the flavors, enthralled by the ambiance, and enthused by the impeccable hospitality.

We only stopped here for drinks in the evening. As we were strolling around the old town, we passed by this place and enjoyed the vibe, so we decided to stay for a nightcap and were lucky enough to get a table. Really good music, good beverages. Service was friendly enough, I guess a bit overwhelmed because of the large crowds.

The whole serving policy of the bar is nonsense, very unpolite and unprofessional for the amount of money you pay. They have gigs on weekends, but you need to pay 1500rsd per table upstairs (nothing included, you just get the table). Also, their policy is not to serve food upstairs, but that obviously doesn't refer to everyone, because there were tables with food upstairs. Waiters are not flexible with orders, meaning that you would need to wait a lot if you opted for tap draft beer from downstairs. Just ridiculous! Been here many, many times and enjoyed the place, but after recent events I'm not coming back

We had a reservation and the waiter gave us 2 tables upstairs. Soon after we ordered they told us that we would have to move outside to the garden because they 'arent serving upstairs'. There were 3 more tables upstairs. When we didnt move within 5 minutes, because we were waiting for our friends to come, they turned the music up so it became really loud and uncomfortable. They didnt let our friends who came afterwards come upstairs. The waiter was very unpleasant and rude telling us we can either move outside or serve ourselves. We paid the check and left. Needless to say, after 5 years of going here, we won't be coming back.

We just had drinks here always a bit of crowd so if you want to be in this resto on weekends i suggest you make a reservation

Our meal consisted of sausages, filet mignon steak, and chicken wings, each expertly prepared to perfection. The prices were reasonable, and the menu offered a well-balanced variety of options. The ambiance exuded a charming Balkan vibe that added to the overall experience. We are certainly eager to return to this establishment in the future.

Great beers, awesome music and really good food, the sausages were delicious, I think all of them have cheese inside. The bread is one of the softest bread I’ve had. Definitely my fav place in Novi Sad so far!
