Asempa is a decent budget friendly hotel. It's quite small and doesn't have a large compound. There's no pool or gym. You can get a decent view of the town from the balcony on the second floor. The rooms are nice and spacious. The bathrooms are good too but the water pressure for the shower is low in some rooms. The WIFI worked well for the first week of my stay but after that it didn't work as well. When I stayed there they didn't have a menu yet and there wasn't much variety in the meals. The options for breakfast were very limited. The restaurant also closes at 8 pm which can be inconvenient sometimes. The staff are really nice. They're probably the hotel's best asset. They were generally helpful in addressing whatever needs came up and very pleasant to interact with.

One of the best hotels you can find in Tarkwa. Great facilities and services all at an affordable rate. If you will need to use the internet during your stay, I'd recommend this hotel. They've got some really good Wi-Fi

Stayed for 4 nights. It was ok. They could do something about the tv channels. Very limited with only 1 channel for dstv. And the run out of Internet so the wireless was not working.
