make
Five
Reasons
Hostel
your
stay
of
choice!
I
actually
made
a
reservation
here
just
a
week
before
the
end
of
Oktoberfest,
and
it
only
cost
me
about
half
of
what
a
mucky
campsite
in
Munich
would
have.
Travel
is
only
about
2
hours
each
way,
and
you'll
also
get
to
explore
a
quieter,
more
laid
back
city
away
from
the
afterparty
scene.
Rooms:
The
dorms
are
clean
and
well
designed
for
function.
I
stayed
in
an
8-bed
dorm.
The
room
is
temperature-controlled
so
it
never
got
too
warm
nor
cold,
despite
the
variable
temperature
ranges
during
fall.
I
love
that
there
is
a
large
number
of
dorms
with
less
people
in
each
dorm.
This
means
the
dorms
stay
peaceful
and
quiet,
but
if
you
want
to
socialize
there's
always
company
in
the
dining
area
and
lounge
below.
Very
well
thought
out!
Bed:
Each
bed
comes
with
privacy
curtains,
which
is
such
a
difference-maker
for
comfort.
A
warm
adjustable
lamp
is
installed
in
the
wall
at
the
head
of
the
bed.
The
bedframes
doe
creak
but
are
otherwise
sturdy
-
so
try
to
move
around
less
at
night!
Washroom:
Clean
and
well-designed!
I
always
appreciate
when
the
sinks,
toilets,
and
showers
are
separated
by
cubicles
-
which
isn't
all
the
time.
This
allows
for
the
bathroom
to
be
used
by
few
people
at
once
and
avoids
having
to
wait.
With
just
2
toilets,
sinks,
and
showers,
there
was
never
any
wait.
Washrooms
are
also
gender-segregated.
I've
stayed
at
dorms
with
mixed-washrooms
AND
transparent
cubicles...
but
the
cubicles
here
are
opaque.
In
fact,
each
shower
cubicle
is
self-contained
so
you
don't
even
have
to
worry
about
scummy
shower
water
from
a
neighbor.
Pantry:
I
didn't
cook
in
the
pantry,
but
it
was
adequately
clean
and
a
plethora
of
cooking
utensils
are
provided.
Location:
The
hostel
is
at
the
edge
of
the
Old
Town
-
you
get
to
enjoy
supreme
accessibility
to
public
transport
via
the
U-bahn
station
just
at
the
entrance
of
the
Old
Town,
as
well
as
being
a
short
walk
away
from
the
historical
churches.
There
is
a
farmer's
market
just
10
mins
away
on
foot
I'd
strongly
recommend
for
awesome
burgers,
sausages,
fresh
fruit,
and
1
Euro
truffle
mushrooms!
If
you're
heading
to
Munich,
the
Flixbus
that
takes
you
there
departs
from
the
central
bus
station,
which
is
a
mere
15
minutes
on
foot
and
less
by
U-bahn.
