Sit read and drink coffee or tea. It is a very large Thalia spanking on multiple floors and it has a small back bar. I very much like book shops, libraries or similar where you can sit down and read too. Large, chaotic and also relaxing. Check it out.

My new favourite place in the city! Always loved a good book store, but what I absolutely loved about this one are the written reviews and the different atmospheres for each section ❤️ P.S. For anyone out there there is still struggling with German (just as I am) they have a good section with books in English on the top floor!

Shop is excellent. But cafe is very loud. I can‘t read here. Persons are talking loudly without respect to readers. If it is bookstore cafe, it has to be quiet and peaceful. Not as here in every ten 10 seconds I heard loud voice from espresso machine. Lovely Thalia, you have to increase your service in this part of your business.

I sincerely just wanted to enter and take a short look and ended up spending 2 hours in this bookstore. It has definitely everything you could think of and it keeps you busy and entertained in every corner you look. It has not only every book you could imagine, on any topic you ever wanted to read. But it also makes you want to discover other very interesting topics you never thought of. It has books in many languages as well, but also other very additional tools that you need in every days life. The book cafe is a pleasure to sit in, where I also could get lost for a whole day probably. However from a “just wanted to take a look” inside, I ended up buying different books and items worth 180€ 🫣. I definitely recommend every book 📚 worm 🐛 and not only this place.

Great book store with nice cafe inside. It has nice kids play area & also kids reading area. My kid loves to go there and always find it really attractive. Huge collection of books for kids and adults. Also has international collection. Also good place to relax with books ☺️☺️☺️☺️

Extensive selection of books and small gifts, also a cafe section on the 2nd floor with coffees, cakes, tea and soft drinks. Friendly staff and speedy service. The shop also has self-checkout machines to avoid potential queues.

So store is pretty big, like 4 or more leveled and when I just came was surprised by man playing the piano inside, there are some restructuring job so it was not comfortable a bit. I didn’t liked that there are like no strict system so notebooks were on different levels in random places, but there are a big variety so I’m not upset that I had to spend some time on searching

Whether you enjoy reading, decorating or board games, Thalia will have something for you. And if they don't, you may call them anytime and have it ordered, usually arriving within 24 hours. Thalia helped me rediscovered my passion for stories and games.

If you have the chance to go do it. Yes the language gap is there but most of the time they the German people know English ok so you will be ok. Beautiful countryside,lots of history everywhere you look. The food is always incredible,and the people are really nice.

I love this bookstore, as does my teenage daughter. Great selection, including a section of English language books. Great gifts as well.

Absolutely love it. This shop has almost everything and the location is quite nice.

Wide range of books. Fair prices. Minus 1 Star because when I was there I wanted to read and drink a café but there was renovation going on downstairs. The renovation workers were playing loud music and it was so noisy.

I may be a bit of a bookstore fanatic, but this one left quite the impression on me. Great Variety, very amazing customer service, and the opportunity to take a break inside their large café, to start reading the purchased books. I highly recommend!

Lot of variety in books and book related gift Articles. The staff helps in picking the right book and also gives advice/suggestions on interesting books if we don’t have an idea about it. My selection of book according to their advice was very much liked by the child.

A great bookstore with a nice coffee shop inside and a small play area for the kids. It also has a small international section in case you are in Germany and needing a book to read at one of their beautiful gardens.

Lovely Shop with a wide range of books and book related paraphernalia. Well set out with some lovely displays. Nice place to spend some time. Had a cafe but I didn't try it.

Loved this huge bookstore, which offers really everything in terms of genres and even books in foreign languages. There is a paper section on the top floor which has also lots of relevant items. I visited the store in the time before Christmas and there were many tasteful decorations to buy on all the floors (plus the store itself was very nicely decorated as well).

Nice place for finding the latest books and having a specific place where you can seat and read before purchasing them.

Very crowded and full but a nice experience. You can buy every book you dream of in German and some in English. It's also a very good place for buying school supplies and gifts.

Ordered online. Quick delivery. Although ofert paying with PayPal or Kredit card - it didn't work. All Books came a bit destroyed, they were either not packed properly and got knicks or the packed exemplars were already distroyed to begin with.

Supports questionable ideologies, but other than that it's a good book store with a warm atmosphere. Staff is friendly and ready to help. My only other problem would be that there are not enough english options (but its germany after all)
