This resort opened November 2017 and is still in a 'soft opening'. We took the top floor suite with balcony overlooking the sea, it is one of the best views in Guimaras and worth staying in that room just for the view! The rooms are well equipped with hot and cold shower, AC and good quality furnishings. TV by Cignal but Wifi internet not strong, if you need this for work then the hotel may not suit you, The hotel has a pool, although its quite shallow it's a decent size. The sun is full on the pool during the morning but shaded later in the afternoon. Deck chairs are ample and there is a bar service to the pool. We did not each lunch at the hotel but breakfast was traditional Filipino, however the chef would take orders for other dishes and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel owns a small beach area opposite the resort but it's very stony in the water and not that suitable for swimming. I would visit again just for the wonderful views!

We had a wonderful experience during our stay the staff is very welcoming and greets you with a smile in their face😃 They have the best sunrise view and very instagramable facade😍 The hotel room is huge and the linens are clean😉 And they have superb customer service🙌 They make our vacation memorable and fun😉 I would like to thank the SUNSEA RESORT staff for taking care of us for the rest our stay🙏 We promise to go back SOON😉 P.S. thank you for the complimentary sumptuous snacks😘

The staffs are friendly!!! They cook one of the best tasting fried chicken there is! Super sarap Ng chicken nila. Huhu!!! Service is great, everything you asked for they can provide it

One of the best stays we've had in Guimaras. The staffs are very accommodating. The food is greaaaaat! The view not so much, but it is chill! The room is clean, and well-lit, with great air-conditioning. The shower is clean and modern. As a bonus, there is a hot and cold shower!!! The only sad part about this whole trip is when we were leaving three days later. Btw, if you haven't had the time to go to the grocery and purchase goods, you can ask the stuff to take you to the nearest town center (about 5 minutes away). It is a free ride, exclusive for the guest. There is also a huge convenience store and gas station in the town. We were even able to purchase a coolant. Haha Also, the pool is only 4-feet deep. It wasn't an issue for us, but for people who came for a dip, it might be. However, on the upper part of the resort, there is a new pool undergoing construction. That one I estimated to be about 10-feet deep. Finally, the wifi is only available in the lobby. Even so, the signal was only about 1 bar. It's okay for social media, but I would assume it won't be able to sustain your laptop works.

Complimentery water at the hall is appreciated; complimentary breakfast more so.. recommending pool filter to be activated longer during summer and guests to use lesser sunblock lotion when going for a dip.. :-) :-)

Avoid this resort at all cost!!!! Breakfast was late, maybe and we waited more than an hour! They took our orders the day before, and at the time we needed to eat our breakfast, they say it is not available. Their wifi did not work during our stay. That alone is notwithstanding to the package they promised us. The extra mattresses we paid for came late, and as we entered our room... voila! It was only stacked and piled, not even arranged properly. The price of their tricycles and carpool are too costly. Better go to the city proper and speak with public jeeps and set fixed prices with them for your entire stay. The service staff are clueless when it comes to customer service. The prices are at hotel rates but service is pension house level. But this is the WORST resort I have ever been. You even have to cross the street to get access to the beach. No way I’m going to return to this place...NEVER!

Nice and quiet place, nice Breakfast inklusive. Great Room....very Clean...

We went there last March this year, 2019. We thought the place is beach front (could be, or not). Though the main building is separated from the extension building that has other facility which is not operative yet, except for few, such as boat for island hopping and other water sport activity they have. The lighting at the dining area is not that much inviting, though I enjoyed my breakfast. Lightings outside the quarters and by the pool are not nice and some of them are not working either. I'd like the owner to work with some development as the expenses we spent especially the fare from the wharf and to the location (which is very far by the way) is too expensive. We also need the accommodation to be worthwhile as well as how your employees deal with their customer support. That's all P.s. I forgot about the signal. I wasn't able to connect with the data even to their WiFi. Signal's very low or worse, not working.

lovely hotel, I love the owners, they are very generous. would have got 5 stars but there are lots of stairs and very steep inclines to climb and no elevators

My friend and I reserved a room with 2 beds and the pictures on the website showed 2 beds but when we arrived there was one regular bed and one hard mattress on the floor.

This resort is at least 45 mins away (by tricycle) from the wharf. But I didn't mind that. This place is perfect if you want to unwind to a quiet place away from the city. We had a late check in, and all the staffs are friendly and very accomodating. I read some reviews that their fried chicken is delicious so we ordered it for our dinner, and they are not wrong!! Do not miss this! Overall, this was a nice resort and I would love to come back to Guimaras and explore the island moreee!!

Overlooking the sea, nice place to relax. They offer water activities and rooms are quite spacious. Only downside is if you're a Globe subscriber. No signal in their area. They provide wifi but not that reliable

Staff service is Class AA. They will try to accommodate you as much as they can, they even give you tips on how you can save money on meals. If anything, rooms have so few power outlets and the internet is only good for messenger.
