Today
was
my
first
experience
at
Patty
Spa,
and
overall
it
was
pretty
good.
It's
definitely
got
a
"hole
in
the
wall"
kind
of
feel
to
it.
I
was
a
little
surprised
when
the
massage
therapist
led
me
to
the
room,
and
walked
away
without
a
word.
Normally
I
would
be
given
brief
instructions
of
some
sort,
and
perhaps
asked
where
the
sore
spots
were
that
the
therapist
needed
to
work
on.
Perhaps
due
to
language
limitations,
the
latter
never
came
up.
Unfortunately,
they
use
scratchy
towels
for
the
spot
where
you
put
your
face,
which
bothered
me
during
the
entire
massage.
They
also
use
scratchy
beach
towels
for
you
to
lay
on,
which
while
not
nearly
as
irritating
as
the
face
towel,
wasn't
exactly
comfortable.
There's
quite
a
bit
of
sound
that
carries
over
from
other
rooms,
including
sound
from
outside,
so
I
wouldn't
say
this
is
a
very
quiet
or
relaxing
location
for
a
massage.
The
good
news
is
that
the
massage
itself
was
quite
good!
The
therapist
who
worked
on
me
used
a
good
amount
of
pressure,
and
found
a
lot
of
sore
spots.
I
was
disappointed
that
at
the
end
of
the
massage
when
I
asked
about
a
taxi,
instead
of
calling
one
for
me,
they
just
pointed
in
a
direction.
I
spent
about
10
minutes
wandering
looking
for
a
cab,
which
was
a
little
irritating.
It's
also
the
first
place
I've
been
to
where
I
was
asked
to
pay
in
advance.
Maybe
they
have
problems
with
people
not
paying
for
services
after
a
massage?
At
700
pesos
for
90
minutes,
this
spa
is
a
good
150
pesos
cheaper
than
a
similar
one
at
the
marina
such
as
Venus
Spa.
The
overall
experience
was
less
impressive
than
Venus
Spa,
but
the
price
is
lower
so
it's
a
matter
of
what's
more
important
to
you
as
a
customer.
