Always love visiting this place. Lovely food, great ambiance and lovely staff. Quite crowds, and has great outdoor seating. Food is quite unique and gives the place some identity. They have a gnocchi dish which is super nice and also used to have a mutton roll which I enjoyed. Been coming here for ages and they have managed to keep the place authentic to their style to date.

Fantastic spot. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and clean with beautiful furniture. Also the food at the restaurant is great. We had a tasty lunch and breakfast. All the food was well prepared with great flavors.

A fantastic and authentic guesthouse in a really handy location for Galle Face Road - great food served in house and incredibly spacious and comfortable room. It was a real treat to spend a night here and we loved ending our holiday at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to store our bags until our taxi to the airport at 5pm. Definitely recommend a stay in these very impressive surroundings.

I went here on a friend's suggestion, couldn't believe that I was still in Colombo after we got settled inside. They got a host of drinks on the menu, both alcoholic and not. If you're looking for a chilled out afternoon on a hot day, this is the place. The greenery is such a welcome site in the concrete jungle Colombo has become. Parking could be a problem, you have to park on the road outside. A must visit place for anyone who loves to chill outdoors.

Awesome place to stay; in a quiet location but easily accessible from anywhere.

Havelock Place Bungalow was a jackpot! Food was original and delicious with homemade ice cream that you can't simply resist! Room was spacious and stylish! The hotel is easily accessible but distant enough from the main road to remain peaceful and quite! The staff was helpful and friendly!

A perfect place to spend your first few nights in Sri Lanka after flying in. We stayed 2 nights and loved it! The room was so comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. The little restaurant attached is delicious with breakfast included in our stay. We did organise a pick up from the airport which we couldn't find so sorted our own taxi out there (which is easy anyway) so the only thing I would say is to arrange a meeting point if you do arrange a pick up. Other then that it was perfect!

The place is situated in the midst of the Havlock city, yet a very calm surrounding. The banglow is very calm and quiet and still has the old architecture. The breakfast was not a buffet and served as a small portion. Because it's in the town itself, having a meal from another restaurant is very easy. Even though I didn't use the pool, it was not very clean as it seemed. The staff was very friendly and proactive as well. The comfort, convinience, and the service is superb for the paid price.

We had a great culinary experience at the COI restaurant inside the Havelock place bungalow. The food was as exciting and tasted as good as the previous coi. Although the taxes do leave a bit of a sour taste, we really enjoyed the food, ambiance and service here. There are a couple of vegetarian options and the menu has a few items with octopus :)

We stayed here for our last night in Colombo before flying home. We were able to store our bags after checking out, while we went shopping, and then use the pool to cool off.

I ordered chicken salad and sri lankan beef steak. Steak was not soft. It was roasted at the edges. I ordered a welldone steak but I got a over cooked one. Probably not a good place for steaks. they have a very high price tag. place looks architectural and calm for a dinner out. No air condition is provided as all windows are open. There were few smokers in the garden so we had to breath the smoky air for a couple of minutes. Not recommended to go for a dinner out with family
