Smallest rooms I have ever seen in a Premier Inn, a foot, maybe around the bed. Shower over a bath with no non-slip at all. Phone signal very poor, quite possibly using a signal blocker to force people to pay for their wifi. Lots of noise in the room from the corridor and especially from a giant aircon fan in the yard outside, I measured it at -18db. Very hot in the room so you have to open the window and listen to the noisy aircon fan outside. Wouldn't stay here again. Prepaid for breakfast however, when I went down they didn't have my booking, even though they were relative kind in their manner of handling the situation, I felt embarrassed and not at ease at all. They then brought me the wrong meal.

Stayed in lots of premier inns over the years, so they do tend to be standard, which is fine, as you know what you are getting. I was in room 22 on the 1st floor and could hear a whirring noise and finally figured out, it was the air conditioning unit outside of my window. I'm a light sleeper, so this did wake me a couple of times. Other than that, no issues. The restaurant attached was a beefeater, so plenty of choice.

Stayed over Christmas Eve as spending Christmas day with family. Service was great, rooms immaculate, food in the restaurant was lovely (Christmas fayre menu) and a good hearty breakfast. The only tiny issue we had was the secondary double glazing was broken, but this didn't cause us any issues...... A smashing start to Christmas.....

Stayed overnight recently typical Premier Inn. Has to be the smallest room I've ever seen in a Premier Inn, fine when solo but would be a squeeze if two. Some building work at the hotel, while it didn't affect my stay worth mentioning. Location is great and the adjacent Beefeater is good.

Not visited for a while met up with 10 other members of family for a 645pm booking. We waited a long time for drinks but they were fairly busy so understandable. After eventually ordering our starters and mains, the starters arrived half an hr later and the children were given very hot plates which was unacceptable for under 6 year old (presumably left under hotplate) After waiting another 50 minutes for the mains to come, several were barely warm and not very nice. We chose this location for sentimental reasons as we often visited as children with our parents and thought this was an ideal meeting for a family get together, unfortunately were were disappointed.

Generally good. Our room was tatty, with lots of damage to soft furnishings and walls etc. Very under staffed, one person behind the bar on busy Friday night. One person on breakfast service etc.

We love staying in this Premier Inn, every year for the past 5 time, we've stayed there. The staff are very helpful, nothing is a problem. The rooms are kept clean and pristine to a very high standard.

Extremely busy and noisy restaurant. Staff very busy but also very efficient and attentive. Room spotless and the quietest Premier Inn I've ever stayed at.

Quaint historic building with disabled access and rooms. The staff are friendly and the attached Beefeater is brilliant! They overheard my partner wishing me a happy birthday and did something nice with my dessert (pictured) which really shows how much attention the staff pay to their customers. The rooms are cosy and the WiFi here is good but you do have to pay for a faster speed to stream video, but it works on up to three devices. There is a kids play area away from the adults and bar.

Stayed 5 nights for work: Pros: Very Friendly and helpful reception team. Good room and bathroom. Cons: A/C has never been cleaned blowing dust / TV / lights never been dusted. Extraction from restaurant is loud and doesn't go off until 10pm. And if you open the window before it smells. Overall the rooms need a proper clean.

My food was cold and my friends beef undercooked. Don't think there were enough staff on this was 2.30 on a Sunday so it was busy. Good choices on menu. Didn't put me off would try again. We didn't stay overnight.

Great craic. Great spot. Grest beer and food. What more do you need

The Grif used to be amazing but lately the cleanliness isn't what it used to be. Not sure if we went at an off hour but all the tables were covered in dirty dishes. The place was empty but we couldn't find a clean place to sit. The staff did clean up a table for us and we did get to enjoy a couple of delicious pints. We will update again after my next visit.

It's really nice. We had dinner in the beefeater, they made a mistake with my wife's steak. However, it was corrected straight away. All the staff were polite and the service was fantastic. Next time we are down in Nuneaton we will definitely be staying there.

W3W location currently on the website is wrong and takes you to a factory entrance 1/4 mile away. The correct w3w is 'zealous.home.zeal'. Hotel is just off a trunk road roundabout (handy for access) but set back from the road the rooms are quiet. Phone signal is a bit iffy indoors (3-mobile) so watching videos on my phone was tricky. Which wasn't helped by my TV struggling for signal. That's being fixed and was only my room affected. The room is decent size enough for the price AND * big plus * THERES A BATH!! This for the win. Room is probably due for some refurbishment, but certainly fit for purpose. Staff super friendly. Photos below...

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights overall service was very good only thing was the room had paint peeling off and mould in the bathroom. I think this hotel needs a good makeover. We have stayed in other premier inn hotels and they have been up to date. Unfortunately we won't be staying here again.

Small rooms but a nice comfortable bed as you expect with Premier Inn. Stayed for two nights and the breakfast was a totally different quality on both days. Sunday was slightly slow service but food nice and hot. Monday morning early was very quiet but most of the food was Luke warm.

Lovely place very quiet most of the time, staff very friendly. Close to all areas that we needed to visit family in both Warks and Leics you really wouldn't belive that it was so close to major road links.

Came for work, the hotel itself is average, nothing really special, basic. What makes it is the people, really lovely team, go above and beyond. All very nice and accommodating. Restaurant team are excellent too. Highly recommended!

It is always nice when you get the modern style room at Premier Inn. As prices do not always reflect the quality its fair to say this one delivered a comfy night's sleep.

  • 4/5 Jeannette G. 2 years ago on Google
Had two good night's stay here bed very comfy I would say that the room was a bit on the small side not much room either side of the bed and the toilet didn't have a lid apart from that it was good. Meal deal is well worth having!!

Very busy, went for breakfast, staff rushed off their feet but still managed to be pleasant and helpful, food was very good and such a good price when you consider that you can have as much as you want. Covid rules were followed and they had tables well spaced out, nothing was too much trouble, the four of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely go back. Top notch well done🙂🙂👍

Our stay was okay for one night... Rooms are very small compared to other premier inns.... We did find out pillows had black smudge marks on them it was quite dusty. I struggled to sleep as pillows were hard. I would stay again of we had to but I would rather avoid.. avoid the beefeater next door aswell!

Like many Premier Inns it's near a busy road, but double glazing helps reduce noise a lot. Room was very small, but clean tidy and well kept. Shower pressure was brilliant. Staff are very welcoming. Very good for the price.

Absolutely loved my stay here. It was my birthday and they have me a card and a bottle of wine. Very clean room and fresh bedding as requested. Only down side is they have NO lift. Upon booking there is no option to book a ground room only for disabled access. So I booked and then called. However upon arrival my room was in fact upstairs. This was very challenging but the staff carried my equipment up and my friend helped me up. It did make me feel extremely vulnerable but we managed. The staff were incredible and went above and beyond to make my stay amazing.

Helpful staff and decent sized clean room for the 2 nights, bed was a bit soft for my liking. Shower was good but the temperature did fluctuate a bit 🥵🥶, car park at the front has plenty of spaces too

Nice hotel, typical Premier Inn. One of the older ones but still clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff ( especially Pauline) and as always a fantastic bed. Breakfast is amazing as is the restaurant food.

  • 1/5 Michael D. 2 years ago on Google
Quite noisy near large busy roundabout. Rooms badly needed refurbishment. Bathroom smelt of sewage, had to dispose of 11 ladybirds which had made their home in our room. Restaurant very grubby and service takes forever. I've stayed at many Premier Inn hotels with work, but this is without doubt the worse I've stayed at.

Kids were bleeding driving me up the walls so left them with nana gave ‘em a tenner and took myself to the hotel and treated myself to a moderately warm tea and layer back to watch some antiques roadshow and bangers and cash with tv superstar Derek Matthewson. Overall 10/10 would recommend for a cheeky mini break

Stay here a lot great location for me the reception staff are lovely and friendly never had any issues, the last stay i was put in room 16 ground floor little noise from pub extractor fans( nothing major)other than that comfortable stay

Stayed here for work purposes. Clean room, great service from the hotel colleagues. Restaurant is accessible from the hotel as well.

  • 2/5 Harry B. 1 year ago on Google
The room was very dated, fixtures and fittings mostly seemed to work, however the shower only worked on the mixer with both bath and shower, instead of one or the other. In need of a refresh and decorating all around. I was on the ground floor, with the window overshadowed by trees and bushes, so no natural light. The sheets and towels were clean and fresh. Lack of coffee in the room, I needed to request some from reception.

  • 2/5 Elaine D. 1 year ago on Google
Sadly this was not a good experience. The room rate was very expensive for a tired lookig room with an uncomfortable mattress on the bed. No support in it. The Manager did say they were being replaced this month, unfortunately this isn't reflected in the prices. Didnt sleep.....so I checked out early, even havjng paid for 2 nights. Staff were all lovely, but due to Policies.......Computer Systems couldn't reimburse me anything there. and then. Beefeater.......Evening food was good, but there was a long wait due to Staff shortages. Breakfast was average. Staff friendly, and run off feet! My advice.........Okay if you dont pay much. Shame, as Premier Inns are have been to in the past are usually much better.

Second week here. The staff have been very nice. Personal touch in everything they do. Food is varied but well prepared and very tasty. Been given a room that has so much space and aircon. Can't wait to go to sample another meal from the Beefeater menu. Kelly made me feel at home soon as I walked in. Impressed

Great Premier Inn, friendly staff, good for families. Beware there is no lift in the hotel. We stayed here when we went to Drayton Manor which is roughly 30 minutes away. Attached Beefeater is nice for breakfast and includes an outside play area which is good for older children.

Where do I start? It was 5* on every level! Firstly the greeting was very warm and welcoming, lovely Sophie on reception was so helpful and friendly. We checked in with ease and went straight to the room, which was immaculate! Every single surface had been cleaned and dust free. It felt like we were the first to use the room! Very friendly team in the bar area, and was served very quickly. Drinks were very reasonably priced as was the food. Great quality and value for money. Clean restaurant area, great staff who were so polite even though they were rushed off their feet. Next day breakfast was awesome! Friendly waiting staff on hand with good local knowledge of the surrounding are for days out. Honestly we can’t fault our stay. It really was excellent! Well done guys!
