Great customer service from those in Medellin. Great whale sightings. Lodge itself was very basic and rustic for its high price ($750 for one double bed, two nights, two whale watch boat trips, and 6 meals... not including the flights you need to take to get there). There are no ceiling fans, no air con, no lights in the cabins, no hot water, no WiFi, no real Claro signal, no places to really hang out on grounds except your room. No way to get your clothes or towels actually dry. Cabins are very close together, open, and really lack privacy. Other lodges nearby seemed to have better amenities for similar prices. It’s not bad, but you have to be ready for a rustic, hot, and humid stay here.

I stayed 6 days, Very nice team there , apart of the owner and his sister that we haven’t seen, too bad we could have tell them that the price is expensive and that the wood work with chain saw next door is really anoying in such a as sold quiet place to relax. Food is good but always the same. Boat rental is about 4 times more expensive than normal. I really insist anyway on the very nice welcoming staff.

El hotel cuenta con un personal excelente . la comida fue buena excepto que nos sirvieron el mismo pescado todos los cinco días al almuerzo y comida lo cual fue muy triste pues el pacifico tiene una gran variedad de pescado. le falta electricidad, ventiladores y angeo en las ventanas de los cuartos..

El Cantil es un PARAISO entre la jungla y el océano donde disfrutar de playas paradisiacas, bañarte en cascadas, ver ballenas o hacer surf. El personal del hotel es amabilísimo y la comida es sencilla pero riquísima. Un lugar perfecto para conectar con la naturaleza!
