This is one of my favorite places. Everything is good here, design, cuisine and service. But I only like the first floor.

The food was great and so was the service. Great place to come with friends, family or the second half. Services should be improved but staff try the best they can and are very friendly

Food quality not so great. The staff keep promoting the 875 wagyu shabu package but it offers no ala carte meat for shabu. Sorry, but since Kempinski has a similarly priced Shabu package, I fail to see how I should trust this place with a 875 shabu package where the only way I can have more meat is to buy another package. We have to settle with buying a la carte menu, with primarily ramen. We ordered a pork dish, yet it was the worst pork dish we ever had in Bali. I can understand if I eat pork in Jakarta and it taste not so great, yet in Bali, I expect pork to at least taste ok. Yet it didn’t. The pork smells and we returned the dish. The staff came back and say that perhaps it’s not to our taste, ok sure, perhaps the same way a rotting fish smelled fish dish would not be to our taste. Overall, not a great experience.

I enjoy Sama Sama Yakiniku & Japanese Restaurant in Nusa Dua. They have a wide menu selection, offering Japanese, Korean, and Western dishes. The Western food is on the ground floor, while the Japanese and Korean options are on the second floor. You can choose between à la carte and BBQ dining. We tried the à la carte items – Buta Kimchi Don, Teriyaki Don, Inari Sushi, and Tamago Maki – and they were all tasty with good portion sizes. I find the sushi and sashimis a bit pricey. Just be aware that it can get a bit warm inside. The staff is friendly too.

Overall the place was very good. When they help cook it feels a bit rushed even when the place wasn’t busy while we were their. I think it would have been better if I cooked it all myself but still good for Yakiniku. My kids really enjoyed the short rib meat and sirloin. The decor is great and the helpfulness of the staff was very good. Overall for the family of 4, we spent less than $100 and ate until all of us were stuffed.

It was an amazing experience at sama sama. So far one of my favorite restaurants in Bali. I’ve discovered it from google and it was wonderful, i feel so lucky to find this place. The food was affordable, they have this vintage decor and unique interior. The service was great we met Ms. Wiwi and she was very friendly and helpful overall. It was nice, couldn’t be happier.

Just WOW! this space is absolutely beautiful, and the staff is beyond words. Amazing sushi spot! Super fresh food. Family friendly. Yuni and her team are so welcoming and all around wonderful. We would come here again! Highly recommend

Very stylish place. Great food. I was just little disappointed that there is very little of vegetarian food. And we spent the most money 💴 in a restaurant in Bali, which wasn’t great either.

Nice Japan restaurant on the Bali island. All food was very tasty and delicious. Staff very friendly and smiling all time. We are cooking some our food on the our table. Kid drink a lemonade with a local fruit. So wish your restaurant stay in the same quality and get friendly guests all time. Good luck

the place is spacious, they hv vip room, and japanese style seating. parking is spacious. food are fusion japanese and korean.

The first time we arrived at this place...we were asked if we'd prefer western cuisines or Japanese. Since the kids wanted Japanese food...we went to the second floor. We had lunch Japanese style....sitting on a cushion and was pleased that they also serve Korean food. The place was cozy....the food was great....the service is impeccable.....we have nothing to complain 👍👍👍

Our driver a wonderful person (May god bless him) 🙏🏾, Suggested us this place after a long day of activities😩. The atmosphere of place😏just amazing, with 2 sides a Japanese and westerner. We went twice and stayed in the Japanese side, ordered hot pot and sushi, food, drinks and service impeccable with so many choices on the menu 🙌🏾🥰 forgot our waitress name😩 she was so kind and adorable😍. Highly recommended place 🙌🏾🔝

thank you in advance for the food and service... the place is spacious but it's a shame there are several things you have to improve... first, the cleanliness of the eating utensilsCleaning spoons and forks packed in tissue is not difficult, if you give guests clean spoons it will be very impressive for us. but if it's like my experience, the spoon has traces of other food still attached to it, it will ruin my eating mood. secondly, the taste of the food is below standard.

Okay food, however not Japanese at all, the yakiniku is Korean bbq not resembling Japanese style at all as are some of the other dishes. Menu deals have no flexibility for included items like drinks which is a problem if you don't drink alcohol. Staff were also pushy towards the higher cost menu sets.

Great, spacious restaurant. Very, very nice interior! They serve good food and the service was also good. I love the hamburgers the serve, not like the standard hamburgers… but nice and with toasted bread. Also the japanese food and the steaks were great! Good place for families, but also for couples or groups! There is also lots of space to park in front of the restaurant. I will definitely come back.

I just remember when I visited here a few months ago, interesting place and i loved the spicy ramen, but god, why would you put the wasabi to the salmon sushi, under the salmon? That completely ruined the taste. You should put wasabi to the side because not everyone likes wasabi.

The minute the place I said “I feel like I’m entering Don Corleone’s Office. (If you know, you know) and to my surprise I did see his poster in the restaurant. Brilliant ! The food was amazing. Fresh and to the point. One of the best Japanese restaurants in Bali.

The last order is at 930pm and the food quality is considered to be good with fresh meat and delicious side dishes. The service is good and the marinated beef slices are the best meat options. There are a lot of steps though. You have to walk up to the shop and then walk up again to the dining area. In case you are bringing elderly folks, please note on this part.

fish is not the freshest, i don’t like soy sauce. a bit overpriced. but ice cream dessert is really good

all the staffs are very nice and helpful.. there's AYCE & ala carte options, today we go with the AYCE we choose the Regular buffet and ask for 1 of everything at the beginning and as you can see, there's chicken, beef, pork and sausage as proteins. the salad is very good, the veggies (mushrooms, bellpeppers, casava (?) and onions), the kimchis and pancake and the soup was on point. the reguler AYCE will cost you 190k/person and it's not include drinks. you also can choose to buy drinks ala carte/ all u can drink (cost u 150k) the taste is very good, i love the sweet bangkok sauce it's really blends well with the meats. overall for 2 person + 2 regular drinks, will cost you 500k-ish and it was worth it!

Can’t believe that I will experience an unli J-BBQ in Bali. The customer service was great! Will definitely recommend and go back if given a chance
