Rode my friends bike around a portion of this pretty park. The water is calming to view while walking or riding bikes. The park could use some flowers or garden areas but otherwise, loved it. I liked having the crossing guards holding traffic over the streets you crossed over.

Kingsland Park in Nutley is perhaps one of the most scenic parks in all of Essex County, New Jersey. It has a lot of everything for everyone of all ages. At its northern terminus at Kingsland Street, there is a small part of the Third River with a mini waterfall that becomes part of Kingsland Lake, where most times you can spot people fishing or relaxing on one of the many benches that line the park. Spanning the entire length of the park, from Kingsland to Rutgers Place, a distance a at least a half mile you can traverse a path that is used for walking, jogging and cycling. The path is extremely well shaded and well maintained. Toward the southern end of the park, you can find a gazebo with tables for relaxing and having a little nosh, a little exposition area called The United Nations Garden, with a very nice tile mosaic of the world, followed by the playground, which has a larger than usual jungle gym and swings set. Capping off offerings of this bucolic setting is a softball field with stands. Throughout the park you can always find people with their dogs, walking, running, and just enjoying the scenes. It's a great place to just go and get away from it all for a little while.

This neat town park actually exceeded my expectation by wide margin. Flowering cherries on the island are even more impressive than in Branch Brook park.

Very nice park created on the bank of Third River. The third river, also known as the Yantacaw River, is a third tributary to Passaic River. Park is never crowded, and you will have a very peaceful experience, either walking, jogging, or biking in this park. In the middle of the park, there is a United Nations garden dedicated to the creation of the United Nations after World War II. The center monument contains a wonderful mosaic that represents the countries that comprise the United Nations. On the bank of River, you have benches for you to sit and relax, read books, or just enjoy the flow of water. Entire park is very well maintained. There is a man-made waterfall that poses immense photo opportunities for graduation pictures , weddings, or any auspicious occasion. Kudos to Nutleyites who thought of creating this park that many generations would enjoy. In the park, many bridges are there for you to cross river from one side to another. Restrooms are available close to the softball field.

This is my favorate park out of most in Clifton! They really made this long long park as beautiful as it can be and came here on multiple days to enjoy nature and watch the geese play around in the river. Best park around, I highly recommend all to visit

Nice walking paths next to the winding stream, several playground areas and ball fields. Clean and well maintained. Bountiful grass areas to run and play. A number of small bridges connect both sides of the stream.

A nice local spot, free access, that you can enjoy strolling along paths. Basically extends into Memorial Parkway park in Nutley. Peaceful place for a stroll. Have to either find a side street to park on, or (shhh!) the Stop & Shop across the street. Pleasant stroll, not crowded.

This is a great park to take a walk in or ride your bike. I like to walk along the some river in the park as I find it relaxing. It's always so peaceful and never crowded. You can spot plenty of geese (don't feed them) and ducks in the park. There's a nice little waterfall where I've seen some people do some fishing or just siting next to it to relax. There's a few benches inside the park if you just want to sit and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.

This park is gorgeous. It has playgrounds, a baseball field, plenty of benches and trees, a beautiful gazebo, an unexpected waterfall, and walking one side of the park to the other is a short scenic walk. My wife and I even had a 60 person baby shower here. We were able to attain permits from the parks and rec department of Nutley and they were nothing but helpful! Not to mention that this park continues into a much bigger park on one end, and on the other end, connects to Clifton Commons.

Kingsland Park is a small park couched in the neighborhoods of Nutley. Its amenities include a playground, a small baseball field, a small gazebo, and a waterfall. There is a walking path about a mile long that goes along the small river that ends in the waterfall. As this is mostly a local park, the only parking is on the side streets in the neighborhoods. This park is nice for a serene atmosphere. There are plenty of benches available for sitting and enjoying the day. People looking for longer walks are better off looking at larger parks in the area.

Great hidden spot right next to a busy shopping center, didn't expect it at all. Good spot to unwind after work or shopping 😀. Lots of spot for fishing.

👍👍 Quaint park with a small playground and walking path. The path goes back a little farther than it looks as it crosses the old train tracks which used to run into NYC.

👍👍 I visited for an event and it was such a lovely space...parking can be hard to find if your event is well attended. The residential neighbors definitely don't want to be encroached upon. I am looking to host an event here now. The location is great and the space perfect and easy to decorate
