Kingsland
Park
in
Nutley
is
perhaps
one
of
the
most
scenic
parks
in
all
of
Essex
County,
New
Jersey.
It
has
a
lot
of
everything
for
everyone
of
all
ages.
At
its
northern
terminus
at
Kingsland
Street,
there
is
a
small
part
of
the
Third
River
with
a
mini
waterfall
that
becomes
part
of
Kingsland
Lake,
where
most
times
you
can
spot
people
fishing
or
relaxing
on
one
of
the
many
benches
that
line
the
park.
Spanning
the
entire
length
of
the
park,
from
Kingsland
to
Rutgers
Place,
a
distance
a
at
least
a
half
mile
you
can
traverse
a
path
that
is
used
for
walking,
jogging
and
cycling.
The
path
is
extremely
well
shaded
and
well
maintained.
Toward
the
southern
end
of
the
park,
you
can
find
a
gazebo
with
tables
for
relaxing
and
having
a
little
nosh,
a
little
exposition
area
called
The
United
Nations
Garden,
with
a
very
nice
tile
mosaic
of
the
world,
followed
by
the
playground,
which
has
a
larger
than
usual
jungle
gym
and
swings
set.
Capping
off
offerings
of
this
bucolic
setting
is
a
softball
field
with
stands.
Throughout
the
park
you
can
always
find
people
with
their
dogs,
walking,
running,
and
just
enjoying
the
scenes.
It's
a
great
place
to
just
go
and
get
away
from
it
all
for
a
little
while.
