This place is so worth it!!! Bought two number 4 Italian subs and from the quality of the bread and cold cuts to the friendly man and woman working there...HATS OFF!!! YOU TWO TOTALLY NAILED IT!!! What I mean to say is that they went above my expectations. Definitely going back on Friday to try the lobster rolls. It's nice to see people who care so much about what they do and they are truely outstanding. I wish them all the best. ***Update*** Got the lobster rolls today!! They rock!! Very delicious. This is my new sandwich spot in Nutley, NJ.

Staple sandwich spot in Nutley, NJ. The subs are big and beefy. Delicious. Service is quick. Small space so nowhere to sit and eat. Take out only. Would definitely eat there again. Service was great. Friendly and kind staff.

Not all heros wear capes but some come in loaves of bread. Friendly service. Lots of meat in sandwiches and filling. The pastrami sandwich and the Italian were really good. Worth a trip if craving yummy subs.

Today the Hero King disappointed me. I had never gotten a sandwich I wasn't pleased with. I work the evening shift, my co worker called and asked me to get a sandwich for from "that place where I gotten one for in the past" . As always I ask for VERY little oil and vinegar, no salt and heavy orgreano never a problem, sandwich never soggy. Well my coworker calls me and asked if I got sandwich from same place, I replied yes. She voices her dissatisfaction with sandwich. I then check my sandwich and I'm upset because my sandwich is soggy, mind you I don't eat until later. I got the #4(ham) which ham is already salty and they put more salt on it. I called the shop and spoke with the young lady, hoping that she would offer me a credit. She apologize and said there was nothing she could do and being that it was at lunchtime (busy) "mistakes can happen". I've been in this shop when it was busy, today it wasn't. If this is the way New Management treat their customers, they just lost one. I threw my sandwich in trash and reimburse my coworker. I miss the gentleman and lady that worked there before. They were friendly and always made you want to return.

Hero King Nutley New Jersey is on top of our list.. Every Friday and Saturday is Household(3) Treat day. We have approximately 20 restaurants. We drive from 2 and a 1/2 miles to 40 miles out from our house. I keep a list and critique the foods Quality, Quantity, and Consistency. If the take-out doesn't meet our QQ, the consistency is not there. The restaurant goes to the bottom and gets a second chance later. 2 strikes your out and replaced. Outstanding job Hero King of Nutley. A+++

Excellent customer service! They accept Apple Pay! The sandwich was exceptional! I hand a simple turkey and provolone sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard. It was delicious! It was huge and I couldn’t finish the whole thing at once! They were fast making the sandwich! Couldn’t ask for anything better! I’ll definitely be back there!

They never skimp on the sandwiches, even during Covid. I’m usually satisfied after a 1/3 of a sandwich, but usually eat half out of pure enjoyment. See you soon HK.

Huge sandwich and it was the 1/2 size. Very good. You will not get this much food for the money anywhere else.
